The Salad bar is an absolute favourite for your household. The service is always lovely and fast, the food is always delicious, the caramelized onion sausage rolls are absolutely awesome. The drivers are always happy and will go above and beyond to accommodate, an absolute pleasure to deal with.

3 of us had food from here on 3/5/25 and 2 of us felt ill and another went to hospital 2 days after with feeling unwell.. The food was shocking..kebab meat looked raw and was greasy and the salad was salty and slimy. The person in hospital ate a chicken burger which he stated was not great. It was the only thing we ate whilst out night fishing so make ya own minds up... Look at the other reviews that state kebab meat was not cooked sothey are still under cooking food and they even respond saying that undercooked food can occur at busy times as though it's okay... Shocking food ..place needs investigating and shutting down

Went end of March and had fabulous meal, even recommended it to family. Forward one month. Went at lunchtime on Saturday 3rd May and surprised to find it empty. Lamb and sea bass not available. I ordered Haddock to be told no mushy peas and served with a tablespoon of peas in their place. Fish deep fried sat on chips which were soaking up the fat. My partner ordered the Pie. A wedge of pie containing not much meat and a crust that his knife wouldn't go through and a small pot of gravy. All in all a disaster served on small plates and at a cost of £55 including drinks. How can this happen in 4 weeks. Needless to say we will not be visiting for a while, if ever.

17 members enjoyed a great lunch with lovely food and excellent service. We visit every year and are never disappointed.Look forward to next year’s program when the Angel will definitely be included.

Lovely little campsite attached to it just across the road. Lovely cozy pub with fantastic countryside views. Nice clean amenities for campers (been twice). The main thing are the people that run it They bought over gas to use as ours had just ran out for a cuppa in the morning. It was belting it down with a full on thunderstorm, yet he was more than happy to help us. They are a very very friendly and welcoming couple. We did have food in the Summer: a biker's basket. Very yum Will continue to come back regularly to Square and Compass.

Great little takeaway! Always have lovely food from here. We tend to order around once a month, and it is always great quality and service.

We sometimes get food from here and its pretty good,i dont no if its because its christmas eve and they probably made loads of food to keep in front but im sorry to say the food was not great at all and the sweet and sour sauce and barbecue sauce was well watered down sorry but you have lost my custom

Lovely local community pub. Carvery was fantastic, great service from chef will and a great variety available. Will 100% return.

It was an ok place (went on a date) however it was getting busy and the place got very noisy! It also has got an echo effect. I enjoyed the Americano though!

Eaten here many times, always excellent and good value. I always compare anywhere I travel to the food here and few compare.

The fish was like 2 smaller pieces together with the centre of fish missing. Chips was miniscule to say the least for a large portion and not the best at all far from it. Not again I would rather pay for delivery from Retford.

The staff are amazing and the food is what you would epect. However nothing changes so i could not go for a year but when i next go back i know what is good and what is not. It doesnt go down over time as most places. I have been going for over 10 years and would love to take me children there one day.
