Starbucks in Bassetlaw

Great coffee. Poor service. Six customers stood waiting for coffees to be made. One girl working her butt off trying to make coffees and hand food out whilst another girl just stood behind the till doing nothing, a man disappeared on his break and two other girls outside having a cigarette. Need I say more 🙄

It’s customary to ask a customer if they want to scan a loyalty card. Guess not here they couldn’t give a toss and be rude at the same time. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Cannot make a coffee. my cappuccino tasted like dish water 🤢🤮 avoid like the plague 09:03. 29/08/24 staff refused refund or drink change...

Second time I’ve been served by the same person in the last month. Last time I went in she never put my points on my card even when I had asked. Today I had a reward after scanning it disappeared and she said it wasn’t even there. She was so abrupt and rude and her customer service both times was unpleasant.

Fast service. Nice and clean . I go to alot of places around the UK due to my job . This 1 was fast . Clean . And good atmosphere

Coffee good as expected of Starbucks but let down by their lack of mugs available. Had to have 2 of the 4 in take-out cups.

Not the best of starbucks they allow dogs in we're there's food being eaten the hot drinks could be hotter

Coffees etc are same good standard as Starbucks but this branch isn’t dog friendly. Told depends on the franchise. Shame as others we have visited are dog friendly. Had to order take out and sit in car park.

Came in for 2 coffees this evening, had the caramel waffle latte and Toffee nut latte to take away. Absolutely no taste to them at all! Tasted like a regular latte! Had both these drinks before from a different store so know what they should taste like. Won’t be returning.

Not the best service at this one. Only one person working when I went in who was having to do tills and drinks made it very slow. The place itself had pots all over the tables also.

This is my first time in this fairly local Starbucks. The room is huge. And even though there were about 20 customers, it wasn't anywhere near crowded. I had to wait a while at the counter for service. But I think I went at shift change over. I only had coffee ( decaf latte) and that was good. The toilets weren't up to scratch. With the only cubicle unflushed. And it looked like it had been there a while. I used the disabled toilet. It was also messy, but at least it didn't need flushing

Gosh! The coffee cups are huge, my medium cappuccino was like 1/2 a litre!!!

Friendly staff and great coffee -- but absolutely unacceptable ladies toilet? Two cubicles - One locked/out of order and the other one had no toilet seat? Unbelievable

The was 1 person on duty. They coffee was so hot I could not hold the cup and I dropped it just before getting into my car. The second cup was weak and not Starbucks quality.

Recently refurbished but still the slowest service in any Starbucks I've ever been in and more expensive for some reason than the Starbucks in Sainsbury's 200 yards up the road, where the service is much much better.

Stopped for lunch after a long journey after searching in the Starbucks app. Arrived just after 1pm, plenty of room in the unrestricted free shared use car park. On entering the room was quiet, only one other diner, and ordering was no problem. Meals heated accordingly and drinks dispensed OK. Peaceful surroundings despite being next to a nain road (A57). Soon the room filled with other diners and the ambience improved. Toilet clean along with the rest of the building. Left relaxed and ready to continue our day.

Ordered a large hot chocolate with cream ended up with a small in a large cup not good enough starbucks

Been a handful of times prior to the refurb... Not sure if it's a different team too or just the seating that's changed - but been twice and both times the coffee tastes like bitter dirty. Not sure when the refurb took place, but it is not a good look. It now looks space, cheap and uncomfortable. Shame, love me a Starbucks.

Nice clean toilets and spacious seating area. A nice oasis of calm.

Not happening. 2 weeks consecutively no oat milk for the signature Iced shaken oat milk espresso. Still charged full price of £5:45 for a venti and it was so full of ice that there was literally 3 mouthfuls of the beverage in the cup. If I hadn’t had to be at work I would definitely have gone back. The Sainsbury’s Starbucks is 100% better than the St. Annes Road one 😡

I wanted a small glass of milk for my kid. They were charged £2.10. Normally Costa gives it sometimes for free or sometimes for £0.65. Even with the sun, it's very dark inside. Badly designed.

Strange use of the loyalty app. They have to do a workaround whereby they scan item twice and it shows that you have paid double on your receipt. Basically told to just ignore it by staff as its internal workings of their company however producing receipts to the public that are not showing correct payments is illegal and those claiming expenses could potentially be committing fraud. The world is bigger than Starbucks and has consequences!

We have only been once, but the flat whites were nice, the service warm and friendly and the seating area clean and tidy.

Service was good and it was quite quiet when we went, nice spot in a convenient location

I was served by Amy today (young lady with glasses) and it was a pleasure. Speedy serving. Even though she had few people at same time and working on her own i didnt even wait for a coffe longer than 5 mins (I was last in a queue) which is never happened to me before even there is sometimes 3 peope working ;)

Got my Order slightly wrong but still was nice.

Thank goodness there is a new Starbucks in Sainsbury’s! Service terrible, more interested in chatting to each other than offering a welcoming environment.

Great member of staff who served me. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Asked for a strong coffee, it was basically water and zero flavour of the coffee blend. The staff were really nice so I felt bad for them, however the person before me complained their coffee was cold. Will not be going back, and honestly go elsewhere

Bought the banana bread for mid morning snack really tasty. Coffee good and hot. Staff very helpful.

Conveniently located as a stop off and the quality of coffees we've had here have been generally very good. Parking area could do with a bit of a spruce up

Clean and tidy cafe. Friendly staff and beautiful coffees. We also had cold forget-me-not frappe, which was delicious. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Clean toilets including accessible toilet.

Not overly busy, friendly and reasonably fast service.

Came here for a magic bag. Basically its items they probably throw away but they kindly give it away for a cheaper price. So the magic bag i paid for was £5 but you get £15 worth of stuff. Cakes sandwiches etc. This magic bag definitely didnt have £15 worth of food in it. Shocking.

Went for breakfast stayed in for latte coffee and toast. No plain toast or plain croissants bit disappointing. Only bacon rolls and bacon cheese croissants for breakfast (nice if you like that stuff)!!

Been to it twice now and find coffee too weak, been in other Starbucks & coffee has been fine won't be going to the one in Worksop again rather go to Greggs

Hidden away behind a Shell garage on the A57 roundabout at Worksop. Staff member serving was very polite and pleasant. Seating inside with a few tables facing the garage outside.

2nd visit. Staff polite ,usual Starbucks coffee was no different , , like this place , Costa staff need to come to Starbucks to get training

Visited to use the toilet which had urine all over the seat and floor. Handy to stop off though if on a long journey

Been here twice has been quite quick service both times

Has been a regular ‘convenient’ stop but never happy and time to find alternative. Came through Friday. Stack of tables in corner. Tables in use never very clean. Toilets … well on Friday no loo rolls. Both sanitary bin lids broken and open. Today same but loo rolls on back of cistern, doubt if restocked since 2-days ago. Suffice to say, lack of regular cleaning schedule displays says it all !

Food good, but absolutely no one, staff or customers wearing face masks.

The staff was lovely, and explained to me the difference between a couple of new drinks etc. Had a nice relaxing catch up coffee date with a friend, nice place would definitely return.

The slowest service ever ! This cafe would break the record for slow service. I had to wait 18 minutes for a medium latte. Four members of staff and nobody seemed to know how to work quick. Would never go there again.

Incredibly slow service. Four members of staff, but nobody serving customers, and more bothered about chatting to the staff from Subway next door.

Ran out of ice couldn't have any cold drinks and the guy serving was a miserable git.

Always very clean and the staff are so polite mannered and spirited. Only can say that a green tea with almond milk is absolutely awful ! Not the staffs fault, just one of those things. X

1 coffee, I tea, 1 still orange and a bun for £11+ Earlier at W'spoons, 2 breakfasts, 2 hot drinks plus refills for £8.50ish. No brainer really...

Loyd (supervisor) is the best coffee maker . He should be next store manager. I always love the coffee he makes for me .

Lovely drinks and very helpful staff

No menu or price boards. No filter coffee available, peak time of day. Offered Americano for same price but prefer filter.

Service appalling, plenty of staff, 8 at one part of my long wait and staff pleasant just inefficient! 20 mins for a hot chocolate without cream and only 2 customers in front of me ordering just one drink each. The emphasis seems to be on the drive through not the customer in the store! I should have walked around to the drive through window! Will use Greggs next time!

Great location with easy access

Fithy. This place would be considered as horrbile in normal circumstances, but looking what is happening there during covid is unacceptable. They don't clean yet, everything should be strelised after each customer. Many people goes in, goes out, so the barista has a lot of work, however it doesn't mean that he has to do horrible job. In rush, he was pouring milk to my latte too fast causing it foam. When the foam quickly dropped i just had 3/4 of my cup. So basicly I paid for medium, and got small. Do not recommend this place at all.

Convenient just off ring road easy to get to and to continue on youte journey

Staff don't listern arent polite dont smile or give reason to keep returning no gluten free food on menu and dont listern when you request your drink with actual flavour £7 for 2 hot chocolate that taste like milk shame on you starbucks I wont be returning

I visit this place most mornings on my way to work. The staff are so lovely and friendly, they chat about the day ahead and listen. Such a lovely atmosphere in the building whilst keeping to social distancing. Will continue to go to this branch it's the best so far 👍🏻
