Cypriana Coffee House in Bassetlaw

The staff are amazing and the food is what you would epect. However nothing changes so i could not go for a year but when i next go back i know what is good and what is not. It doesnt go down over time as most places. I have been going for over 10 years and would love to take me children there one day.

This cafe has been around for years, I remember eating here as a little girl. Its nothing fancy, but food is good and served hot, and prices are reason able. Special requests such as extra plates/cutlery for toddlers is no problem. I particularly like the older Cypriot lady, she's always smiley and friendly :)

Sólo había una taza de té en aquí como solía ir todos los años (38 años hace sábado hace no ha cambiado tanto la misma familia que corre, que es genial para ver estos días. Lo recomiendo si estás en Santo Domingo.

Como te lo creo en el exterior. Desagradable aunque sabía barato salchichas bien en un panecillo con tocino. Todo por 3,25, así que no puedo quejarme demasiado. El personal era muy amable. Me atrevería a sugerir que hay lugares mejores para un desayuno inglés completo en Worksop.

Recuerdo ir con mi abuela en los años 70. El lugar aún es agradable, y la comida aún como delicioso como estaba de vuelta en el día. El servicio es rápido, y no parecen tener que esperar mucho tiempo.

This café has been open and running as long as I remember, the staff as as friendly as ever and the food is always hot and delicious, this is a gold mine in a somewhat forgotten and ignored area of town. Chips and gravy with a milkshake is my recomended dish, but maybe that because it's what I has as a little girl.

Always a friendly smile and good quality fresh food prepared when ordered and not sat in a heated Bain Marie all day ! Amazing home made specials !!

Smelly greasy spoon. avoid at all costs.One of the worst in town oif not the worst. Try somewhere else. very disappointing.

Popped in for coffee on a shopping run greeted at the counter by lovely freindly staff who then brought me my coffee I like the fact you are able to choose 3 different sizes a change from the norm of small or large. The coffee house is kept super clean by all the staff who are on top of keeping tables free of mess i digress I then chose to have a toasted tea cake wow! Out came the largest tea cake I'd seen and the tastiest it was lovely :-) as I'd had a wait the lady behind the counter brought me another coffee - great service I will certainly be going back next time I'm in worksop

We go most weeks for breakfast as a treat at the weekend, staff a good laugh food good and bill,very good. Also do a good choice of sizes of coffee

my dad and i always go to the market midweek and we always go for a drink a big mug of tea lovely this is and to eat a cheese burger wow these beauty's get better every week the staff are friendly as soon as we go in they speak to us they always say we will bring your drinks over when you sit down brilliant service it only take 5-10 moments to wait for your food from ordering which think is the best in worksop is brilliant out of 10 i wish i could give them 11 try for yourself

Now I'm someone who is easily pleased. When eating out, I give an establishment the benefit of the doubt if I haven't enjoyed it and will go back again in case it was an off day. Unfortunately with the Cypriana, I have been in here about three times and really cannot say I like coming in. Everytime I have been in, I feel as though I am not welcome. The staff (especially the elder lady on the counter) are quite abrupt and don't pass the time of day. This is in Nottinghamshire, where we are friendly folk and talk readily. However, if you are a regular or a child you may fair better! Once food is ordered, then comes the challenge of sitting comfy. The seats and tables are those ones that don't move so I always feel packed in. But that isn't important. Unfortunately, the food I have had in here isn't terribly good either. It is cooked and served most of the time by a Scottish gentleman, who again doesn't seem very friendly. I've had tepid food and eggs half cooked; you know when the egg white is still runny? That makes my stomach turn. I should have sent it back really, but ho hum! I really am not one to complain about where I eat but this is one place I do avoid when shopping in Worksop. Further up, there are a couple of lovely cafes instead. However, if you find unfriendly staff, uncomfortable seating and poor food fun, then do pop in!
