good clean place. level entrance but a few steps up to order point and toilets. food good in a pleasant room. Service was ok.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst working in the area.. what a beautiful place. The Mash Tun room was quirky with everything you could possibly need including a tranquil garden to the rear. The bluebell inn has a proper country pub vibe, amazing food and the lovely family that run it really make you feel welcome. Can only wish my stay was longer!

The first time I came here I was impressed … and the second time. Yesterday I arranged to meet two sets of friends and two different times. This was to see if there might be an improvement on my last experience of dry and unrecognisable as cake, lemon cake. Sadly this will have been my last visit. I had some of the worst food I have been served in a very long time. Dry pancakes which tasted so badly of baking powder, and which had barely a dribble of honey on them. All I can say is the fruit was edible. Then later a lunch of chicken and halloumi wraps which may as well have been wrapped in cardboard. The fact that food was not eaten on both occasions didn’t prompt a question if all was ok, I was then asked if I wanted a loyalty card which I took for the irony, and as my lunch companion said, there wasn’t even any eye contact. My last visit as I have no idea what had happened to this place over the past few months!

Was booked for outside but the weather wasn't great so they offered inside. Friendly, efficient and helpful service. Food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Will visit again

Our walking group stopped for lunch, we all had different choices, everyone was impressed. What a fabulous tea room. Great coffee and cakes too.

Just been to Saffron lounge this early evening with my wife. We've not been since it reopened in the town centre. The food was excellent, very tender chicken and lamb. The service was very attentive and the portions very generous. We've brought home a take out bag with what we couldn't eat, lunch sorted for tomorrow. All in all excellent, give it a try.

One of the best chippy's that I have visited. Delicious fish in crispy batter and excellently cooked chips. Highly recommended.

Great community run cafe, serving a range of food and drink. The food was fresh, but you do have to be prepared to wait for a while as they are often a bit short of staff.

Five of us popped in out of the rain for a quick snack lunch. It is a small, cosy tearoom filled with a huge amount of most interesting armed forces' memorabilia. We were lucky to find one table unoccupied , which accommodated us. Also, fortunately, on discovering that payment was required by cash, we managed to have just sufficient between us to cover the cost of our food. This was freshly made, well-filled tuna mayo sandwiches with crisps also a baked potato with tuna and salad. These were produced quickly along with a pot of tea for two, which was most generously thrown in. The hospitality and service could not be faulted.

Fantastic as always. We started coming to Coffee Owl about 7 years ago. We don't come to Skegness ever year but if we do visit we normally use the Coffee Owl as our coffee stop. Staff are always friendly and chatty. The food is always freshly prepared and well presented. The shop is always clean and tidy. I could keep going on but I know people don't read long reviews lol Would definitely recommend this local business over a national chain, keep Britain great.

Called in while out on a motorbike ride. A very clean, friendly cafe with a large selection of meals. I opted for the Large breakfast, £8, and had a well cooked, tast meal. Will definitely re visit 😊

Just tucking into my takeaway and felt compelled to leave a review. Pili Pili Chicken with Mushroom Rice. Absolutely delicious.

Placed an order for delivery, received within the time they said, I hadn’t had a curry for quite a while, I ordered onion bajee tikka masala, and Nan bread , very enjoyable. Ordered the same the next week but asked for the masala to be not too sweet and a little hotter , order delivered promptly and absolutely delicious, they excelled in my expectations, That one was the best curry I’ve had , cannot recommend it enough… Next one I’ll dine in .

We’ve visited several times and it never fails to disappoint. The food is fresh, beautifully served and delicious. It is reasonably priced and well worth a visit
