Located down Chip Pan Alley. Never been here before. The place itself is very clean, friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast and it was fabulous. Great value for money. Great produce and the biggest thing for me is it was piping hot. Well done keep it up. The drink were also hot too which is great. Nothing worse than having a lukewarm cup of tea or coffee. Couldn’t fault anything. Well done!!!!

Fantastic as always. We started coming to Coffee Owl about 7 years ago. We don't come to Skegness ever year but if we do visit we normally use the Coffee Owl as our coffee stop. Staff are always friendly and chatty. The food is always freshly prepared and well presented. The shop is always clean and tidy. I could keep going on but I know people don't read long reviews lol Would definitely recommend this local business over a national chain, keep Britain great.

Every visit to skegness means a visit to coffee owl. We love the coffee and the smoothies my youngest thinks the hot chocolate is fabulous as well. We have had toasties as well jacket potatoes etc and they have been fabulous and we always try to get a cake every visit and every cake has been excellent. The staff are some of the friendliest people we meet and we look forward to seeing them each visit and miss them if its their day off. They all remember us and make a point to greet us and ask how holidays are going and when we will be back again. Its the only coffee shop we use and its become my oldest girls favourite coffee place as well.

Hi gave another visit to coffee owl on Sat 7th Oct whilst on day trip to skegness been there several times every time is a pleasant experience staff so hard working very clean always got time for a chat with customers just had coffee and cake this time wow was excellent thank you for all your work

Lovely welcome from Chloe (the owner) and a great bacon sandwich and coffee, which cured the hangover!!🤣 Its a lovely cafe and it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the last hour of sun, before getting the train home. Would highly recommend the Coffee Owl. Enjoyed our chat Chloe....remember London!!

I don't normally write reviews (maybe I should do more). However, I had to write a 5 star review for this cafe. Brilliant service, friendly staff and a nice selection of food and drinks. Not only this but they went the extra mile, with a cookie and marshmallows for my twin boys with their drink. With a lot of cafe competition around the area, this cafe has a lot going for it. Light and bright, and well thought out decoration. It was a pleasure to spend an hour enjoying the pleasant atmosphere before hitting the beach. We will be returning. Thank You.

We were recommended the Owl for breakfast during over visit last week, it was so great we went there for breakfast every morning, when we go back up to Skegness we will use it every day, excellent

The Coffee Owl is an excellent cafe for food and service. We have been here many times and never left feeling disappointed. The food is very good and the staff are so friendly, helpful and hard working. Skegness generally leaves much to be desired in terms of quality eating premises but this one rises above the poor standard set by the town. Well done Coffee Owl

Very poor service here today. We waited over half an hour for two panninis with salad. Granted it was fairly full but it is only a small place and easy to see who was eating or waiting. There was no one in front of us when we ordered. When the panninis finally came they were like toasted cardboard so obviously had been done and forgotten about. The waitress plonked them on the table with barely an apology, just " there were two orders before you, that's all" Yes and the two orders before us were people who arrived after us, and had cooked meals brought several minutes before ours. I accept mistakes are made but owning up and apologising goes a long way towards good will. Needless to say we won't be visiting again.

Absolutely love this little café! Staff are lovely, food is impeccable and fairly priced & the coffee is gorgeous. Found it on a Sunday stroll while away for the weekend, had lunch then had to come back this morning before we went home! The ham, mozzarella chilli & pineapple panini is divine! We were out for a wintery walk and fancied a coffee and bite to eat. We found this place by accident, but we will be visiting again whenever we are in the area. The coffee was exceptional, the service amazing. The place is warm and welcoming with plenty of seating and offers a varied menu. We had a coffee and tea cake only, but will try other items on our next visit. We didn't wait long and the customer service was amazing. There were a few locals in and it was clear that they were regular visitors probably due to the level of service and kindness of the staff.

Lovely breakfast, very nice coffee and great milkshakes. It was nice that our server remembered us from last summer. This is my daughters favourite place whenever we are in Skegness.

Found this place on my travels through Skegness looking around a few shops and arcades and can honestly say this place was a happy little find.I came in with my Mum and Dad, we had 2 Grande Spiced Vanilla Lattes and a Flat White all of which tasted great!Staff were friendly and even dressed up and everywhere decorated for Halloween which i like :) Very clean and quaint, I really like it here. Called here for a breakfast and coffee while on holiday in Skegness. Found the staff to be really pleasant and the food quality was excellent. Price was also very good, I’ve paid a lot more for breakfasts that are nowhere near as good in Skegness.

Been in the coffee owl today and we're served by extremely friendly and helpful staff, I had the club sandwich which was superb and my daughter had a cheese and ham toastie which looked very nice indeed. We hate latte coffees which were spot on.

Lovely clean cafe, good quality food. We go for breakfast on a Friday and I love the fresh crusty bread, makes a lovely change to sliced cheap bread that most do for breakfasts. Breakfasts is always hot and it is such good value. The cakes also are good too.

Popped in for an afternoon coffee and snack. Opted for baked potato with cheese and beans and ham/cheese sandwich. The baked potato came with salad and was absolutely delicious. The sandwich should have been wholemeal bread but we didn't fuss. Only complaint is the local radio station that plays the background 'music' does play absolute dross! Needs changing!

in a street where tacky is the norm, this place looked inviting to me. Had a coffee in very relaxing atmosphere. The coffee was superb ,also the tall girl with glasses who brought the coffee to my table was very efficient and friendly, with free wifi as a bonus nice way to spend a half hour on a very windy Day.

Small coffee/snack place on the High Street looked fine from outside but on entering it is quite cramped and felt quite claustrophobic. The first table we sat at was sticky and the chairs on the second one we moved to had spillage on and under the chairs (a member of staff quickly cleaned up and apologised, to her credit). Not the cafe's fault but the stench of body odour was at first unpleasant and then unbearable (better ventilation might have alleviated this issue) - it turned out to be a very quick coffee. Not the experience I'd expected on reading the reviews.

Went with a friend for a snack, I ordered a portion of wedges with sweet sauce, wow, I had the most amazing portion !! very good value for £2.80

We came here with the family last week for a drink. My husband had a peanut butter hottie and my daughter had an oreo milkshake and were both really pleased with it. I just had a tea and toastie special which was great value for money as it was actually cheaper doing the deal rather than buying separately. Lovely staff, not overpriced and a nice little corner for the children to play whilst you relax for 5 minutes.

Day trip into skegness I fancied a quick coffee and breakfast so many little cafes I randomly picked this one. Excellent choice if I'm honest, beautifully cooked English breakfast and a decafe coffee all for under £5.00 . Wasn't to busy however it was 9am on a Tuesday morning. Very fast service. Very clean. Would definitely recommend. And I would definitely come again on my next visit to skegness.

Called in on a Sunday Morning and ordered Full English Breakfast for 4 , it was delicious , we loved the big doorstop slices of toast that came with it and also happily surprised that breakfast came with a latte or cappuccino if wanted , not just a regular coffee or tea . Food came quickly and was piping hot , staff all very friendly and efficient will definitely return !

I took my daughter for coffee and cake.and for 2 drinks and 2 pieces of cake it was £14.95. Well the coffee and cake weren't that good. THE Latte was the worst coffee I had ever had and the cake was as heavy as lead.,not worth the price at all.will not be going there again.

come here often but this was the worse visit sat eating sandwich and this party of six came in one was very loud and we diners all commented on our loud he was,xmas spirit was lost after this visit felt sorry for the staff has he is obviously a regular lost my trade now and friends

I go in the coffee owl on a regular basis with my family. The staff are absolutely amazing with not only me but my kids and my parents (when I bring them in) they always ensure we are looked after very well. The staff always ensure that my two little ones get a little plate of marshmallows and a flake after their food. They do a variety of different drinks I tried the unicorn hot chocolate the last time I went in and it was amazing.The coffee is absolutely fabulous and so it the food. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to any locals or anyone visiting skegness!

Me, my mum, nan and little brother (4 years old) went to this coffee shop, nice food and drinks, but wow! What a rude waitresses! Came over and told my little brother to be quiet! Even though there is a children's play area, apparently he was being 'loud'! Why on earth have a children's play area if they are going to get told to be quiet every time they make a noise! How unbelievably rude! You don't tell someone else's child off! Not only that but she was rude whilst taking our order and repeatedly rolled her eyes throughout our visit! Small blonde lady with glasses who I'm pretty sure is the owner! Really bad customer service! Will not be returning! Although I was a regular, I get treated the same every time I visit, this was the last straw for me!

I just cannot express enough about how good this place is the food is always fresh, tasty & delicious i always come here with my family for dinner and a hot chocolate. The staff are also very welcoming and are always smiling which Is great. It's always clean and tidy and the coffee owl also has a 5* star food hygiene rating. Decided to pop in as I was walking past and could see that they made Frappe. . On the board it stated they were all £3.50 yet I was charged extra for cream which, through having many Frappe before I have never been charged extra for cream! They could instead write FROM £3.50. For the price I thought they was incredibly small and you get better value at McDonald's . . It was nice but I wouldn't choose to buy from thee again. Isn't value for money.

We have been going here for a few years now, and I have to say the place is clean and tidy, staff are amazing can't say a bad word, and plenty of room for my girls wheelchair, and even saw staff help an old lady out to her scooter

I had never heard of Coffee owl before. We were staying at Hotel no.8 in skegness. As we checked in, the girl at reception recommended this place for breakfast. We weren't originally going to come as we thought it would be easier to get breakfast from the marine restaurant. Luckily, when it came around to breakfast, we ventured out to find most places were not even open yet. This was around 8.30-9am or so. We took a little walk into the town, we had no idea where we were going, when we noticed coffee owl. We looked at the boards outside which stated they did a breakfast for £4.75. It looked nice so we went inside. For a big breakfast it was only £6.75 so i had that with a cup of tea (inc in price) and my boyfriend had a bacon and sausage sandwich on beautiful thick bread (he isn't a big breakfast person) and an orange juice. The menu was well priced and i noticed they had a beautiful selection of cakes whilst making my order. The food did not take long to come out and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and i could eat that every morning. It was great value for money, a huge portion and just delicious! By far the best full english i've ever had. We will definitely return!!

This is a pleasant independent coffee place that is really nice for morning coffee. It also has a nice selection of cakes and pastries and not overly priced. We had 2 coffees here and sat outside which was very pleasant and would choose to go here again!

Walked in an didn't really know what to expect, it's got a rather quirky theme to it. Ordered a marshmallow mocha and wow, I was quite surprised at what I got, an absolutely loaded cup of mocha filled with cream and marshmallows, with chocolate sauce on top. The coffee and the food was rather nice and reasonably priced too. Would be happy to have a return visit here. Me and my sister rather enjoyed it and the atmosphere.

We love coffee owl. The coffee is invariably excellent. Gluten free options are good and it is a welcome oasis in Skeggy's cheap cafe scene.

Came across this whilst just walking through the shops on holiday and was enticed in by the picture of the luxury Easter hot chocolate in the window.. myself and my son had 1 each and my other vein just had a cake. Wow it was delicious! The whole place is dedicated to owls with humourous pictures and comments. Lovely place and I'm sure we'll be back

Called in with friends on a busy Sunday afternoon. Nice contemporary feel. Excellent range of coffees, milkshakes, smoothies etc. Light meals are also availiable. Presented in the Nero/Costa style. A good find. Recommended!

The slogan is "Skegness if SO bracing". Well it certainly was when we decided to have an afternoon out with our dog and came here to walk along the prom.

Love this coffee shop ... great coffee .... usually have toasted teacakes or on the odd occasion husband has a bacon sandwich .... breakfasts look very tempting !!!
