Shajahan (Twenty 21) in Northampton

Placed an order for delivery, received within the time they said, I hadn’t had a curry for quite a while, I ordered onion bajee tikka masala, and Nan bread , very enjoyable. Ordered the same the next week but asked for the masala to be not too sweet and a little hotter , order delivered promptly and absolutely delicious, they excelled in my expectations, That one was the best curry I’ve had , cannot recommend it enough… Next one I’ll dine in .

Gave another chance after half my order was missing last time, and I have been going here for more years than I can remember and not had a problem. Food arrived very quickly, but unfortunately, the garlic mushroom on puree has gone from the best taste ever to no taste at all apart from that the veg thali was so good unfortunately nann bread was missing really need to take a step back and get that shajahan standard back the standards have definitely dropped since the (twenty 21 ) was added

Absolutely amazing! I order from this restaurant every weekend with out miss, they never fail to please! The food just tastes even better recently, I came in with my family of 7 on Saturday & it was that good we have already booked for my daughters 30th! Brilliant service from the telephone call to receiving my order. The young lady taking the order was wonderful. The food was very good although the poppadoms were slightly soft.

Ordered from twenty21 after hearing great reviews from friends. After placing the order in, it turned 1.5hours after placed, all the mains missing. Rang up to ask if a bag was left in the car and they said "no were just busy". I queried what they could do and they said to resend out the mains. I asked for the lot to be replaced as all the rice's,breads and sides will be ruined. Basically that option was not available and I got told they would refund the missing dishes. Ended up throwing the lot as who just wants rice and bread for dinner? First and last time ordering from here.

Without doubt the best tasting food. A proper gem, hidden away. Would recommend it to anyone, we'll worth a try, you will not be disappointed. Friendly staff and great food

On my first time eating at Shajahan it instantly became my favourite restaurant in Northamptonshire. From their mouth-watering food and exceptional service, it really is hard to beat. Servers are always polite and friendly, ensuring you enjoy your meal. The rest of my family and I always love when we go for a meal out here no matter what we order. I don't normally write reviews but felt as if I had to let people know about Shajahan, a restaurant I would recommend to anyone.

Food is always brilliant. And the delivery is always on point too. Definitely my new go to spot.

Realy disappointed had delivery last wk missed nan bread rang said deliver it in hour well no good as food be eaten .so I was told get free delivery today thought realy nice but didn't show

This restaurant in my area and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was cooked to perfection so as the other things. The spices used were perfect and the flavors were amazing. The portions were generous for the price and I was able to take some of it home for later.

A party of 7 of us (2 children) came for Christmas Dinner and it was outstanding. The service was incredible and as always the food was amazing. Our youngest is 6 and he loved every part of his Christmas dinner, especially his milkshake. Massive shout out to Jay who made the whole experience leading up to and including stress free. We will be back this Christmas

Curry was 50 % water made it all taste like baby food no flavour onion baji was like a ball of grease won't be be returning here !

Beautiful hijabi girl delivered my food. Will definitely be ordering more if she continues to deliver it. Other than that the food was absolutely incredible!

Unfortunately my favourite place has gone drastically downhill since lockdown. More concerned with their take away orders than the customers eating in the restaurant. Extremely long wait for food, not all meals arrived at the same time & some of our party were eating 1/2 hr after others! Really not acceptable! Get it sorted guys as food, as always, is fantastic. Don't let your serving staff let you down!

We have been eating in and ordering from Shajahan for over a decade and have had some wonderful meals from them...however, we were so disappointed with our last couple of orders. As they have changed to a burger and shake bar, we have lost our favourite Indian restaurant...we wish them well but they've lost our custom.

Food absolutely amazing, had a £50 voucher as a present, ate about £30 worth of food , then to be told a voucher is a voucher so they gained a big tip , we was hoping to go back and use the rest of the voucher

Great price but not nice chicken tikka biriani had hardly any chicken in plus cauliflower stems not potato no taste, chicken tikka starter was red and oily looked nasty, poppadoms were salty and no mint in the onion salad, proper disaster, never again for me. Good luck.

My favourite curry house in Northampton! Value for money - especially on Tues and Weds when the banquet deal is on! BYO restaurant too - staff are brilliant. Always recommended to friends and family!!!

Bit reluctant to order indian as i can cook it myself..same goes for ordering on sundays incase standards drop was my first time ordering from here. The food was AMAZING arrived hot and well packaged. Free popadoms and dips. The meat thali was esp good i got to taste a little bit of everything the portion was generous...and most restaurants dont even have this option on menu. Everything had its own taste unlike most restaurants they all taste the same and the kill it with tomato paste,oily, salty and rubbery unedible meat...this was different was cooked to perfection. The chicken and meat was soft fresh. My 2yr old son ate everything and hes a fussy eater. The keema rice was my fave as it tasted just as good as my mums pilau...was very impressed and will order again. Was informed its the same chef everyday aswell so i dont need to worry if the 2nd time would be like this (had to call and ask who the chef was lol) I dont leave reviews unless they were really good and leave bad reviews if they were horrible. ... thanks for a lovely takeout...

Took over an hour and half for delivery. After it arriving, all 3 curries had no taste and were bland aswell as Luke warm. The sham kebabs & onion bahjis were just the same, no taste & bland! The only thing that actually had taste & probably the most unhealthy was the poppadoms! Will not order again!

Great food at great prices in great environment. A little gem

Food was delicious and staff were very accommodating as our half if the group were late for the table. Very reasonably priced and take your own alcohol. Highly recommend it but I would think you need to book. It was a Tuesday and it was full .

Food quality is really high. Decor is atmospheric. Not licensed so bring your own alcohol.

Went with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. Not the quietest of places but it was busy. It was a little cramped and getting in and out if the tables was a little awkward but I'd still give 5 stars. Meal was lovely, portions good and plenty of gluten free choice. They aren't licensed so take your own alcohol. Meals are really good value. Parking a little difficult, but OK if you're prepared for a few minutes walk.

Really nice ambience, good service, food was delicious. Only down side was no alcohol sold on site but you can bring your own. Reasonable portion sizes and good selection on menu and didn't leave a hole in the wallet either. Definately return.

Hidden Goldmine. Great quality food, very tasty, never a let down. We dine here regularly, the chefs cook the food with pride & joy. Service is always with a smile. Great banter with the lads. If you haven’t tried this restaurant you MUST.

Great experience. We turned up without a reservation and didn't have to wait long for a table for 2. Was very busy with clients also arriving to collect their take away orders too. The food was great! My missus loved her Lamb Briyani. Couldn't finish due to generous portions so we asked if we could take the extra tandoori naan home, no problem.

Food was tasteless. I ordered the lamb shank n hottest chicken curry in town . All I tasted was the mint in the lamb shank . The chicken curry had tandoori chicken pieces that was over cooked. Wasn't even hot . Naan bread was awesome though Best I've had in Northampton. Ambiance was great. Lovely Restaurant, small but cosy. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Over priced though .

Really good food and all of the waiters and staff are lovely. Really would recommend and the weekday deal is really good value for money. Place has a family feel whilst also feeling like a posh Indian restaurant

Had a meal here with friends , the restaurant is quite small and they don't sell alcohol you have to bring your own which isn't a problem. The starter and main meals we had were amazing. We all had variety of food and could not fault any of it. Staff were all very nice and polite. Will def be going back.

All food cooked to a really high standard, very tasty, with great staff and dining experience. Only slight let down, stairs, toilet and some decor looks a bit tired. Hense only 4 star

Have always had great curry's here and bring your own drink great idea. Recently took my parents booked a table two hours later food arrived no apology sorry not good enough they seemed more concerned with getting out the take away meals . Food is always good and service but that night bloody awful service and damm right rude attitude when I ask about our food . Parents won't be going again .

Great food and friendly service. They do not serve alcohol so its bring your own. Had an excellent meal here when visiting Brampton Heath Golf club. Telling thing was most of their customers seemed to be regulars. Anyway it was an excellent Indian meal with the food flavoursome and not overpowered by heat. Would certainly go back again.

Great food Great Atmosphere. Have been here several times now , mainly for my birthday with friends. Have to say the food and service has always been top notch. Staff are very friendly, even when I tried a cheeky pinch of the lemon squeezer ;). Bring your own booze, means you can enjoy good food and not worry about the bill constantly going up each time you have a drink. Would def recommend to friends and family

Terrible. Waited for 2 hours and was still told to wait another 20 minutes for mains only. Waiter in charge was rude and aggressive pointing in our faces and tried to offer a free drink to a bring your own drink "restaurant"... ruined two birthdays.. definitely avoid, so many other better options in the area..

Just the best Curry in town, if you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday then it's feast night and you can try lots of different food but it's superb value any night! Bring your own alcohol is a bonus!

Best Indian in Northampton, seriouslly. Where you been eating..Worst curry Ive ever had.apart from last one!! Gave it 6 months and had another. Shame as people should buy locally. In this case don't bother!!
