I recently ordered a cappuccino for £3.50, and while the coffee itself was really enjoyable—great quality and served at a perfect temperature, making it drinkable right away—the portion size was disappointing. The cup was so small, it felt like a child’s portion. For the price, the amount of coffee served doesn’t justify the cost, and you would have to purchase two cups to get a decent-sized amount. Unfortunately, because of this, I won’t be returning.

We received a warm welcome and were invited to take a seat and enjoy a drink before the meal. The drinks came and we took a couple of sips and were then immediately taken to our table. The menu looked very promising with a good range of specials on the blackboard. The fish dishes looked excellent prospects. I opted for a 30 day aged filet steak which was cooked perfectly. The three times cooked fries were certainly cooked but very blonde and lacking crispiness. Whilst everyone in the party enjoyed their meals, it felt that with just a few tweaks, everything could be taken to the next level. We sat on a circular table as a party of six but its position meant that servers had to constantly reach over diners plates to deliver and clear dishes. The wine list was good and priced reasonably. I recommend the Primitivo.

Pop being served in cans is a no no for me. Poor presentation and the side salad was very poor (nothing like the photos!!) Over priced and not that much choice (had run out of bacon, eggs, various other things). The panini was nice but not worth anywhere near the £6 price tag. And a waitress with a "piss off" tattoo on her arm?? Really??? I'm not averse to tattoos, have a couple myself but if it's something like that, cover it up when working!!! Won't be returning.

We stayed at Casa Hotel and reserved a table in the Cocina Restaurant. Without question, some of the best food we have had for quite some time. Attentive staff provided us with a background to the mouth watering menu, and when the food arrived , it was amazing! Well presented , well cooked and satisfying. Well worth a visit....Great atmosphere ...Great food !

I haven’t been here for at least 30 years, the atmosphere was ok, but the meal was very average, and overpriced, the vegetables were very bland and unimaginative. As other people have commented, It felt like an old people’s home, in an 80’s time warp!

Called for lunch. Had a starter and a main each with a soft drink. The service was fantastic. The pub was very interesting- could have spent hours looking round the displays and the food was excellent. Very quick service and the food was hot and very tasty. My only criticism would be that the fish batter was very salty as was my spicy chicken starter but otherwise everything was spot on. First time we’ve visited but we will be back. They also do gluten free options for a lot (if not all) of the menu options. My only regret is that we were too full to have a dessert!! Very good food, value and the staff were brilliant.

A fabulous setting in a village. Easy parking now they have a bigger car park 50 metres from the pub. Outdoor sheltered seating provides a great atmosphere. Heaters visible for dining when the weather is not so kind, and shade when the sun is beating down! Only umbrellas' for the shelter nearest the road, but more than adequate. We came for Sunday lunch, and both service and food were excellent. Plenty of choice and lots of vegetables'! Looks like there is a rotisseries for chicken etc, but was not fired up for Sunday lunch. Food was reasonably priced, drinks were great, but slightly over market rate in my opinion. Good that there was local beer available though. Definitely more than your usual village pub experience. Will certainly return when in the area next.
