Great service, atmosphere and decor Perfect for a romantic meal. The food was wonderful. I said to my partner, i would choose this as my death row meal.

Friendly staff, amazing food. The staff and manager went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. Affordable prices compared to the frozen pub grub on offer in Castleton that comes straight out the freezer for £20 a plate. Curry cabin is located in Hope. You won’t get tastier food cooked with love and quality ingredients anywhere locally better than the Curry Cabin. Highly recommend

Best steak in derby. I am a very avid steak eater and Emily's is definitely the best steak house in derby (and i've tried nearly all of them). The food is excellent and really good value, the service is just as good! I really look forward to coming back again soon.

Impressed by the quality and presentation, a new favorite spot!

From our arrival we could tell that this was understaffed. The lady who greeted us was so rude, a smile would have been nice. Completely understand that being understaffed is stressful but making people feel unwelcome isn’t needed. Had to go and ask for extra cutlery as they didn’t bring enough. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive and came out a few at a time. Overall not very accommodating which is a shame as I come here a lot and it’s usually lovely.

Had a terrible experience. We ordered pizza for all of us from their website and it showed our pizzas were going to take about an hour. After over an hour I called the restaurant and asked about our order. They asked me if I ordered through deliveroo or ubereats and I said no I used the website. They tell me the website isn't working right and they didn't get our order. They said the franchise is from France and they know about the problem but they don't want to fix it. The website worked well enough to charge my card for the order though. I said I wanted a refund and they said it would take several days to receive it. Maybe they hope some people forget to see if the refund is applied? If your website doesn't work enough to take orders but can charge my card then you guys should shut the website down until it's fixed. The guy answering was apologetic but to be honest it was pathetic considering we waited over an hour from being super hungry and then had to find an alternative place to eat. Just a warning to anyone looking to order from here. The pizza looks nice? Review edit. So it's been a week and the restaurant didn't issue a return to our credit card. Maybe they hope you don't bother checking and end up getting your money without doing anything. Really shady!!

21/09/2024 1st time visiting … table for 2; Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Young lady, very helpful with one of the party needing gluten free, the chef / owner was also very polite and made you feel very welcomed. The calamari, prawn cocktail starters were delicious. The main was lobster with a chilli sauce, which was a very well cooked and beautifully tasting, one of the nicest lobsters I’ve had, very nice! As were the prawns in garlic butter main. Overall couldn’t fault anything about it. Clean, nice atmosphere and a couple of Thai beers to wash it down. Definitely got regular returning customers. Thanks again & see you soon!

Great, as always. We all had a Sunday roast. Staff are very friendly.
