Ingredients are very fresh, but the taste was below par ; almost no flavour in pizza Chicken tenders were overall okay

Very rude - ordered my pizza forgot to fulfil my order, only realised once I had asked for an update on my order, then complained that I wasn’t very happy despite them apologising, however having waited 5/6 times longer than I should have to them only when I asked, realise they’ve forgotten my order I’m not going to be very happy obviously. Incredibly rude threatening and Intimidating not descriptive words I’d normally associate with great customer service.

Had a terrible experience. We ordered pizza for all of us from their website and it showed our pizzas were going to take about an hour. After over an hour I called the restaurant and asked about our order. They asked me if I ordered through deliveroo or ubereats and I said no I used the website. They tell me the website isn't working right and they didn't get our order. They said the franchise is from France and they know about the problem but they don't want to fix it. The website worked well enough to charge my card for the order though. I said I wanted a refund and they said it would take several days to receive it. Maybe they hope some people forget to see if the refund is applied? If your website doesn't work enough to take orders but can charge my card then you guys should shut the website down until it's fixed. The guy answering was apologetic but to be honest it was pathetic considering we waited over an hour from being super hungry and then had to find an alternative place to eat. Just a warning to anyone looking to order from here. The pizza looks nice? Review edit. So it's been a week and the restaurant didn't issue a return to our credit card. Maybe they hope you don't bother checking and end up getting your money without doing anything. Really shady!!

My wife & I had just finished a busy afternoon in Leicester City & looking for something quick & easy spotted Woodiz Pizza. I'm plant based & the staff were really accommodating; offering several choices, with speedy delivery of our order! When our pizza came, the smell &look were an early indication of what was coming, in regards to the subsequent great flavour and freshness! Anyway a great pizza, thanks very much Woodiz pizza 👍🏻🍕

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Woodiz had a great service by Adlen, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. But of course, the star of the evening was the pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside yet delightfully chewy on the inside. Each bite was packed with flavor, from the tangy tomato sauce to the generous, fresh toppings. The ingredients were clearly high quality, and you could taste the care that went into every pizza. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, Woodiz is a gem of a pizza place, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or just looking for a great meal, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back!

Nice pizzas bit not the warmest

We went before and had pizza that was fine, since then a few people have told us that it is really nice so we gave it another try. The staff was friendly and the place is cozy but We honestly didn’t enjoy the food. We got the meat fiesta, primavera and 5 cheeses. The pizza’s were full of toppings and the 5 cheeses was not bad at all but we didn’t really like the rest. The dough was fine and pizza slightly burnt. Overall, it wasn’t the worse but I wouldn’t repeat it.

A lovely cozy atmosphere with mqny delicious pizzas. The cheff( Mr Salman) is so friendly and nice. I highly recommend it.

Very friendly and polite stuff. We were served by Adnan who made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. This is a really cool spot to discover. The food was quick but properly made. You can tell they use quality ingredients for the pizza. I loved the experience.

Terrible vegan pizza, low quality and care in the preparation. I ordered a Greeny pizza, which should have aubergines, but it didn't have any and the pizza base was tasteless. Order your pizza elsewhere, especially if you are Italian!

The pizza is beyond beautiful! Had the parmigiana, the 5 cheese and the bbq, the Base was very crispy and the toppings were top tier, beautiful service and great atmosphere! Will definitely come back again as it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had in the uk!

We waited quite long, as the guy working there was alone. (Normally they are working with two). But there were never pizzas more worth the wait then these. We never ate pizza that good before in the UK (coming from an Italian). The owner is really polite and the service is amazing. Amazing price perfomance ratio!

The food arrived barely warm, I was expecting a higher standard and faster delivery. The food was delicious, but needed some more cheese on the artichoke one.

Delicious pizza! Would definitely come back for more. Great place to eat, with helpful staff. Umar really took time out to recommend the customer favourites off the menu. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread was delicious. Anything with Bufala Cheese is highly recommended. Can't wait to revisit. (Need to add VAT number to their receipts!)

I had the meat fiesta pizza which was filling, ingredients tasted fresh and it had the perfect amount of melting cheese. The crust is nice and not chewy/dry. Woodiz pizzas don't taste fatty at all and I don't feel like I've had an unhealthy meal after coming here. This is a small place so at busy times, you may have to wait for a table or wait for a table to be cleaned (unsure how many staff they have as when I was there two lots of meal trays were piled up onto one table by incoming customers). Other than this, I feel that not many people know of this place! Definitely worth tasting :) Freshly, stone baked pizzas.

Love the pizzas here. They have improved considerably since opening. Pizzas taste great and the bases have improved considerably. Great that they have put in seating too as these pizzas are best eaten straightaway. All halal too. If anything I'd like to see dessert pizzas and more options for sides.

Probably the most unique and best tasting pizzas I have ever had - similar to the authentic taste you might get at Pizza Express but better. They felt so much more authentic than the standard American style heavy, similar tasting pizzas everywhere else like at Pizza Hut or your local Pizza shops. If you want something unique and authentic go here. Also - I recommend you go for the more interesting flavours you probably would never consider getting - wawaweewaah!

Simple yet very appealing place for both dining in or takeaway. We came here at the time of opening (19:00 on Thursday) but did not have to wait very long for our food because the two gentlemen did prepare our pizzas very fast and efficiently. The whole place was clean and spotless: tables, floor, walls etc. The pizzas were very tasty and the price we've paid for a family deal was very competitive: £21 for three 9" pizzas plus drinks. Considering that it's freshly prepared with a rich topping, and it's baked on stone in a gas oven, I believe that it's a very fair price. Recommended.

Really nice place for wood fired pizza. Good place with friendly staff. Pizza is fresh and served well. Me and a friend tried the Peri pizza and the Curry pizza because they were different. Wasn’t disappointed. Next time I’d probably have the peri one or will try a Margherita pizza. Please see photos

Ordered a 12" Margharita, a 12" Bresaola with extra artichoke and a French salad 🥗 - !! THE Most flavourful pizza I have ever had in Leicester! The salad was absolutely insanely delicious and well balanced too! Perfect customer service, a real gentleman on the phone = Perfect service and food! Hats off to Woodiz!

Proper Italian Pizza. It's MUST TO place. If you want to eat a REAL Pizza, this is the place. I drove 1 hour to try and not regret at all. Just a small advice, definitely need some quiet music, cause you can hear how people around you enjoying the pizza a bit loudly :))))

I was looking for a pizza place to celebrate my sons 6th birthday after bowling and came across Woodiz on a search. I am so glad I did, and I'm so happy all the popular restaurants were booked up! Not only did the person in the phone go out of his way to arrange for our party to come in earlier than their opening times, but they'd set up enough space for 13, gave us excellent customer service and probably the best pizza I've had in a really long time, much better than the popular ones. The pizzas are a great size and offer so much variety. The garlic bread, i think they just threw in for us, was so moorish, as we're the wedges. We may have ordered too much, but we were delighted to be taking some home with us. I think Woodiz is now our go-to pizza place. Thank you so much guys, you really made my sons birthday special with our own private pizza party!

Dropping in here after a hell of a journey on the trains. The guys were really polite, looked the part and by far the best pizza I've had in Leicester. If you are looking for an alternative to something like Papa John's etc then you can't look much further. I'm trying delivery tonight to see if the second visit is just as good

I've wanted to try Woodiz for a long time, and I finally did. The pizza? Fantastic, absolutely great delicious and imo how Pizza should be served, and that was the stand out feature. The service let this drop a star though so this has bought the overal score to 4½ out of 5, it was my first time entering the store to actually eat but it felt like the person taking my order was having a bad day. Saying this though, the shop was empty. Usually this would be a red flag but I gave it a go anyway and gave them the benefit of the doubt, and do top it off, a friend of his came and the floorworker seemed to have a good aura then so makes you wonder why he was relatively absent minded? Not a good look really. Being served: again a bit of an attitude. I always mind my P's & Q's, and althought no response was really given in return, I said thank you clearly for enough people to hear would there have been anyone else in the shop. Just seemed to fall on deaf ears. Price: It was okay, amd fairly decent. I mean a (for an adult) is a 7" (if I'm not mistaken) pizza with a drink that comes to about £9.99; I paid £10 in cash and was actually shocked (in a good way) as to the words that followed; "would you like the penny change?" Why am I susprised? Because I've paid in other eateries where they assume I'm giving them the change and not asking if what I'm rightly owed, is something they'd want me to have or if they have permission to pocket the extra penny. Petty but we're talking principles here. Would I return? Yes, 100% Would I recommend? Yes, 100% Would I expect anything different on my next visit? Yes, I hope the flaws mentioned above can be worked on. Final verdict: 4½ stars, little communication, "can't be bothred" kind of attitude and although cheaper (in overall price) than other competition around the area, they are a tad steep.

I decided to check out a Pizzeria who did vegan options and I wasn't disappointed. Made in an wood fired oven as the name suggests, the pizza's were delish. I ordered the Gardinera & Primavera with the additional costs for vegan cheese around £13 which isn't too bad. My only gripe, it's a bit small inside not the owners fault so a suggestion would be to reserve a table if you have more than 4 people. But apart from that the pizza's were great and I will definitely visit again! 😉
