Bodrum Turkish BBQ in Leicester

Tasty food!! Good service! Great pizzas!!

Very nice food, both in quality and quantity. The £28 family deal is a bargain considering how much you get in it.

I’ve recently started using Bodrum Turkish BBQ and honestly can’t stop eating their lovely tasty food. Winner winner for me every time 🤤🤤

Lovely staff, great food. I was staying in Leicester for the night and fancied a Turkish meal. Randomly selected this one and ate in. The waiter and waitress were lovely, friendly and attentive but not overly so. The food was delicious, although some constructive feedback it was way too much for one person. I completely over ordered but everything was top notch. Maybe let solo guests know the servings are really large. I got a complimentary lentil soup which was so tasty. Also they were more than happy to box up my leftovers. I'll visit if I'm back in Leicester again. Oh by the way, prices were so reasonable.

We have ordered here numerous times in the past and never had a problem but never again! Had an issue last time which admittedly was partly our fault but the lady on the phone admitted they should have realised and phoned us prior to delivery. Ordered again tonight hoping there would be no issues but we received the order over half an hour late to start with only to find we were 2 rices short, phoned to tell them but they said we only ordered one. Couldn’t be bothered to debate the issue but they only had to check the price we paid and what we received. Not a lot of money as we ordered as extras but not the point you should get what you pay for! Will not order again which is a shame as food nice when warmed up!!

We have been coming here on and off for the last few years and the quality of the food and the service has always been impeccable. Our go to place for turkish food that is reasonably priced. I reocmmenec the family specials which are incredible value.

Very unhappy with meal & delivery. I ordered on 10th January & was quoted 40 minutes delivery. The "meal" turned up after 2 hours & was stone cold. The yoghurt chicken consisted mainly of "English" bread chunks. After eating the cold chiken the rest went in the bin. The next day instead of writing a poor review I sent Bodrum a message with my concerns & asking for thir comments. 2 weeks later no response from them so feel I must post this review

Always fancied Turkish Kebabs and had an amazing experience. The quantity and quality is sooo satisfying that fills you up so quick. Absolutely worth a try!

Delivery came on time but had missed out part of our order. Had to wait over 20minutes for them to deliver the rest of my order. A real shame as the food is nice. No real apology for the mistake.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, I am coeliac, and they were helpful and fully catered for my needs. I highly recommend. I have had food from here and several occasions and have never been disapointed.

First time coming here (or having Turkish food in general). Absolutely gorgeous! Walked in the door, fairly quiet (around 7pm), was brought small bowls of lentil soup with no explanation, which we confirmed was a free-be (very nice touch or perhaps just using up the mega pan they had left). I could have had it all night, best ever had!! We got the Lamb kebab Beyti. Very generous portion size especially considering it was lamb!! We had to take a doggy-bag home each as we were stuffed! The free turkish tea is delicious also and they were very nice to re-fill when we asked. Looking forward to returning next week to try another fab dish!

Wow! This place is fantastic and worthy of a good heads up. I just ate in and the smell was delicious not to mention the food. Very kind, welcoming, courteous staff and then the food came. 10/10 for quality, temperature, taste and amount! Absolute gem in the city centre and a must visit for some SHAWARMA 👌🏼 🏅🏆❤

I have previously left 5 star review but they clearly lost the plot since then. I have waited 2 and a half HOURS for my food today!!! When I called a rude woman said they were busy! No APOLOGY! Well if you are busy tell your clients in advance and don’t make them wait 2,5 hours hungry! The food then came almost cold when we opened it up and tried it it was absolutely disgusting. I just want to say that I am very disappointed because it has been a nice place and I was a regular but now I best go elsewhere because clearly they don’t value your time or money here! Advice to the management- hire the people who can talk to customers or you will loose all your customers very soon, because no one wants to hear a rude woman yell at you WE BUSY. Never ordering again, avoid like a plague!

If I could give below zero I would. Very poor quality food. Rice is tastetles Mezes are blend and poor quality. Hardly any meet in the kebabs packed with bread and Very soggy. Also meet burnt. No way I would buy from this shop again.

The leaflet was recently posted through the door and thie evening thought would give it a try as the reviews are good and we were not dissapointed, probably the best kebab I've have had outside of North London. This is truly a gem we have found in Leicester and hoping that the quality stays with popularity as we will definitely be ordering again. We ordered for delivery the Chicken Shish Kebab & the combo Lamb kebab and the food was lovely and fresh, the meat was tender and well seasoned to the crisp salad to the fresh bread all tasted lovely even the sauces tasted fresh... all lovely :))) Thank you ....

I went to this place ordered a lamb shawarma chips and Pepsi No meal deals but paid paid 11 pounds for cold food lamb disgusting like eating grease Took bite off nan cold informed rude waitress she sent to kichen after 22 seconds the same man came out still like warm no courtesy to make fresh one food and chips cold even salad not fresh Avoid if want good food and do not want upset stomach staff rude food disgusting

I wish I lived closer so I could be in here at least three times a week. Beautiful lamb kebabs with rice and salad, beautiful lentil soup, served free as a starter… really delicious food. Highly recommend Friendly staff as well..!

It is consistency brilliant at Bodrum. The place is spotlessly clean and the food is always fresh and delicious. We go here at least once a week.

Me and my partner live just around the corner and we go here several times a month for a treat. This place is amazing. The food is divine, so simple but incredible! The portions are so generous as well. When people visit we take them to Bodrums. Not to mention the staff there are lovely and bend over backwards for you! Me and my dad were moving a fridge into my house and the owner Sef appeared from nowhere and helped us lift it into the kitchen! I wouldnt count on these guys doing that for every customer but this was just a moment that shows how incredible the Bodrums team is! Honestly don't think I've been to a better take away place IN MY LIFE. You owe it to yourself to give it a try. Me and my partners next holiday destination is Turkey and its all because of these guys.

Was in Leicester and decided to try this place. It was absolutely amazing. The best turkish food I have ever had , and thats coming from someone who visits turkey regularly. The meat was so succulent. The staff was brilliant especially the girl at the till, even gave allergy advice. Definitely going to be going there all the time when in Leicester

The guys at Bodrum's are INCREDIBLE, tried them after moving nearby and has become our favourite take out in Leicester. Always super friendly providing that fresh grill meat you need. And their wraps are amazing too.

Really bad experience. Ordered a halloumi wrap, it came with 2 bits of halloumi. There was no mention of onions being in the wrap on the website but it came full of onion and cabbage and not much else, disaster for somebody allergic to onion. Rang up to complain and the staff did not care 1 bit. Awful service. Chips were lovely though

A very impressive little restaurant. High quality Turkish kebabs meat and meze which is a step above your normal Turkish takeaway places. The meat is high quality and freshly cooked unlike so many kebab takeaways. Amazing service!

Succulent meats. The salads are always fresh. The bread is fabulous. Well cooked rice. Try the lamb chops... marinated so the flavour of the meat is intensified when barbecued. Bodrum..is probably one of the most delicious Turkish food places ever. Lovely staff, and fabulous food, which never fails to satisfy.

As it was a Friday night, and during the lockdown period, I decided to treat myself and my dad to a takeaway. The website is really easy to follow, and very very straight forward. I collected the food and the customer service was amazing! I am a vegiterranean, so had the halloumi wrap. My dad had a chicken kebap. He was given very good portion sizes, and he commented on how delicious the food was. With his order he had rice, salad and bread! Extremely good value for money! On collection the restaurant was immaculately clean, and very nicely set out. I cannot recommend enough!!

I've ordered from Bodrum from the first week they ever opened and nothing has changed which is really hard to achieve. The food is excellent, great value and great service. Try their online ordering site it's easy to use and delivery was quick. Food came red hot and the meat is just exceptional, thank you team Bodrum keep it up!

OMG!!!! One of the best Turkish I have ever had. I used to love Istanbul they taste so good but they do get a little too burnt and dry. I through Istanbul was the best until I tried this one. Same amazing taste but the meats are succulent, specially the chicken thighs they were so juicy. We ordered the £35 deal which comes with everything and everything taste so good, even the bread! I want to order again and again and again haha... it is quite rare for me to praise about a place, so this is one social place. Good job 👏 no wonder the rating is 4.8, as I was a little skeptical when I saw 4.8 on google when reading the reviews before I ordered, and now I understand :)

This is a great little Turkish restaurant and take away. The food is very tasty and the service attentive and friendly. It is also excellent value for money. We always thoroughly enjoy the food and they happily tweak the menu to make the meal perfect. Thank you !

On Wednesday my sister and I had a wonderful meal at Bodrum restaurant Aylestone Leicester and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful, polite and friendly, the food was freshly cooked in front of us and tasted divine. The only downside is I have to wait until I travel to Leicester again to repeat the experience.

What can I say other than... Fantastic! The food is fresh, excellently prepared on the spot and with fab extras! The Turkish Bread, the meats, and the Meze. When going there you should try it all! Sefa is a fantastic host and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Leicester!

The food here is really good freshly cooked but I found it expensive and the portions on the small side the placed seem clean the staff were friendly and it seemed really busy which is always a good sign

We really enjoyed our BBQ kebabs and meze. Everything was very tasty and the portions were generous. It's certainly the best Turkish restaurant we've visited in England. We left with our baklava happy and satisfied.

What a gem, simple, fresh, tastey food with great service, staff are super friendly and all the people coming in were talking about how they always come back.. I'll be going back, regularly..

When we have family down we always eat here, sometimes we sit in and some take out. Both are excellent. Their hummus is to die for and any meal with the lamb is fab. We tend to get the family special when eating at home. However we all had wraps this time and they were just as good. We even get completely bread and dips, which is a great little extra.

Lovely authentic Turkish food. We had the £25 set meal and you get enough for 3/4 people. All the food is cooked well the sides and bread are all homemade and you can tell they know what they are doing.

We ordered a delivery from here for the first time and it was delicious! I used the app to place my order and was given a 25 minute waiting time, the driver delivered exactly at that time and he was very polite. We ordered chicken and lamb doner and two kids meals, they were very fresh and tasty, all plates were empty! Definitely a go to if your bored of pizza/Chinese⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped off here as we were passing through.

We had a massive selection of kebabs and meze for four of us. Really fresh grilled meats with loads of flavour. The staff can't do enough for you and are really attentive. The grilled lamb chops are so juicy and tasty, I could just keep eating them all night!

Absolutely love this..it is our 'go to' take away though have sat in on occasion. We usually get the mezi s to get a good variety..everything I've had so far is perfect and delicious! Fully recommend.
