Probably the best halal burger shop I have ever been to in UK

There was a time that this place's name was on everyone's tongue... I used to travel weekly just to have some grizzlers... 2 of us used to share 20 wings, a pizza and chicken wraps or a juicy Lucy and nothing would be left...was very disappointed with the chicken dirty fries .. good amount of toppings with hardly any flavour, the pizza was meh to say the least and the grilled chicken tasted plain other than the sauce the drizzled at the end... Overall this place has fallen off the edge of a cliff... This was probably the last time I ever visited them again ... Shame really

I did both take aways and dine in, starting with food sometimes its amazing and sometimes they seem to bring it from trash, specially burger bread, the tables are always sticky for some reason all the time maybe they need to clean it up in a different way (if) they do, for employees generally they seems to have bad mood most of the time or nice with certain people who knows, anyways i supported them as my first try was nice but i realize that their quality is either good or so bad and I don’t like this kind of service in any business. For someone who wants to try their luck ( dont come with clean clothes the food smell with stick to it, bring cash only).

Best spicy chicken grills i ever had.

Travelled to the little spot a few times now from Bham & have never been disappointed. The Juicy Lucy burgers are just next level & highly recommended. The Peri Peri chicken platter is also very tasty. A little hidden gem in Leicester!!

Forgot to make our order. Told us they would make it when we called. Waited 2.5 hours from ordering to a cancelled order.

I’ve never had a problem with the food from here, but the service is absolutely shocking, ordered twice recently, and both times I’ve had to wait over 2 hours for my delivery to come, by that time the food has came cold and it’s dragged out my evening to the point where my partner has had to go sleep without her food. The fact that you pay over the odds on UberEats as the menu’s are more expensive and the service + delivery fee, the least you expect is for your food to turn up on time. When the courier turned up with my food, they said the staff were “very angry and rude” to him, when I queried the whereabouts of my order that was already 1.5 hours waiting. You’ve lost a customer, and unless you want your food to turn up cold, don’t bother. Advice to the owners: when you first opened, grizzlers was great, the current staff you’ve got are ruining your brand and reputation, replace them before they run your company into the ground.

Amazing place for gourmet burgers. There is plenty to choose from, flavours, meats, and extras. Reasonably priced. Tried their grilled/bbq chicken, and this was quite good as well. Don't make the same mistake I did, if you like an egg in your burger, and if you like it runny, NEVER press/hold your burger hard or you'll end up with yellow clothes (yolk everywhere) 🫣

Person serving at the till was very pleasant! Food was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back and I will tell all my family and friends. Best place in Leicester!!

Understaffed and take it out on the customer - by far the worst service received in a long time. Cash only, asked if Bank transfer is acceptable, answer is no. Asked re closest cashpoint as I was driving and didn’t want multiple detours, was advised it’s opposite, asked if it charges and was told I’m asking too many questions. Was charged £1.75 to withdraw cash, came in to pay, was told I’m early & they’re too busy to take my payment. When my order was ready I was told they don’t have enough ice cream for 3 milkshakes so have made 2 and won’t charge for 1. (i didn’t get to choose which 2 were made mind you). After paying I’m told I get 3 drinks. I asked if he could deduct the drinks from the milkshakes as I don’t want them. He told me it’s not possible as I’ve already paid. I told him I wasn’t aware I got drinks & since I paid by cash surely he can just refund me the change, but I was told I’m holding up the delivery driver queue & next time to ask before I pay. Have loved grizzlers burgers for a long time (since they opened) however this was unfortunately my last visit. Unbelievably rude & unaccommodating. In fact, by ordering I caused the staff grief it seems so better to take my custom elsewhere.

Peterborough, decepcionado, muy estándar todos los días hamburguesas y patatas fritas, al menos poner en alguna guarnición, tomate y cebolla, llanura llana. Las papas fritas eran solo papas fritas con una ducha de sal peri, hamburguesa de Billy tonto pensé "vamos a probar algo diferente" se puso la hamburguesa en frente de mí y, Bun, untar de mantequilla de cacahuete, un poco de plátano que no podía probar, eso fue todo, las tiras de pollo solo se compraron previamente con un poco de salsa rociada, Juicy Lucy, Bun y carne, no se parecía en nada a la imagen anunciada, el servicio era buena gente amable, vamos Grizzlers para arriba su juego, tristemente no voy a volver.

Ordered the naga chilli wings. Tastes like bin juice. Made me throw up bcos there was no flavour only severe spice. Called the number to ask if they were meant to be like that and was hung up on. And believe me the spice was BAD. They gave extra wings though so i guess thats one good thing, shame I can’t eat any lol.

there was a delay in the driver reaching the restaurant. once he had the food I didn't have to wait long. the food was still crisp and hot. thank you

Ordered from Uber Eats and it was yum! Ma sha Allah. Grizzlers has some really tasty beef pattys in their burgers (there wasn't bits of hard fat like other patty) My favourite burger from the two was Tex mex. Omg so good ma sha Allah. The BBQ wings were good too, (I tasted them, I don't usually eat wings.)My son loved the hot dog too.

First time trying Grizzlers. We ordered Juicy Lucy and fries. The burger was cooked to perfection but there was a minuscule amount of cheese in it. Like you’ll need a magnifying glass to see any. On a positive I loved the generous amount of fried onions. Please don’t sell it as a Juicy Lucy if you’re not going be generous with the cheese. Wait was very long. Disappointing to say the least. Sorry guys.

Great food, well cooked, went for tex mex and hit the specification perfectly. Generous portion with a good amount of chips Also reasonable at £10 for a meal in this economy Only let down is interior is a bit lacking, my table wasn’t steady and they’re all fairly close together but overall was thoroughly impressed for a first visit

Great food but can um you use hot dog packaging so it doesn’t get delivered smashed up. It makes the bun soggy and hard to eat.

Pizza is good but the deserts and sides were pretty bad.

We ate here last night and it was amazing. The hot dog was lovely and the juicy lucy burger was so good recommended by the staff particularly Asif [i think his name was) we will definitely be returning again on a night out.

(Date 2nd August time 19.00 )I oder from here 2 times a week and over the last 2=3 months my order is never right they charge u pir pir chips and never put it on and when u get home and call them they say would u like to come bk which I think is not good since the staff has change this place is not what it use to be like they have done this 4 times to ne in the last 2 months they don't care as the y only work and dont put there hart in to it. was a great place b4 but is going down hill I.think the owner needs to stand in more and watch what they are doing.AS THE FOOD IS 5 STAR IT IS THE STAFS FAULT THEY ONLY WANT MONEY SALERY THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE BUSINESS PLEASE CHECK WHEN YOU ODRED STAFF ARE TO BUSY TALKING TO. . Disappointed with this order arrived 20 minutes late to when I ordered it for quality of food was ok but there was a wooden stick in my burger when I bit into it

Amazing location. The food was really nice. We ordered the wings, chicken strips and wrap with fries. We also ordered jalapeno bites it was sooo gooood! The food was served to us in less than 10 minutes full of flavour nice and juicy and so saucy. So reasonably priced. Id come again to try the other stuff on the menu

Excellent food and staff. The wings are so tasty but a bit on the spicy side considering I can handle spicy food so I normally get medium spice level. The Juicy Lucy burger is a must try item! The only negative is that this place is too small, not always guaranteed space to eat in.

Was visiting Leicester so search online for nice burger places. Tries grillerz Had a juicy Lucy burger. Nothing special. Small burger. Good portion of fries. Very basic sauces like ketchup and mayo. Meal cost £9.49. Could have done better with an Algerian sauce or special sauce and have bigger size burger. Still feeling hungry will have to eat somewhere again lol.

Let’s start with the positives The portion size was huge The meat was medium rare and cooked well The chicken was very nice Flavours were interesting (daughter had silly billy and enjoyed it) Now for what could be improved The bun was way too wet and sloppy The milkshake was not very good The fries came in a polystyrene type box so were soggy All in all a decent meal and a good burger but we won’t go here again simply because there are far better choices out there but we tried it at least

Preordered my kids dinner for 6 as I would be working. This place cancelled the order right at the time (6). Scum bag move.

Lovely food and service would recommend

Food is very tasty and always on point. Prices are little high and the parking is terrible, absolutely nowhere to park around the shop which is a big let down.

Useless company Refused to send out another pizza as mine didn’t arrive and was “stolen by the driver” Claimed they are unable to do anything due to ordering through Uber eats

Had this after some time. Enjoyed it throughly, The quality of the milkshakes and food is good (none of that cheap powdery stuff) .

Usually most places have a redeeming factor, this place was terrible, from the service (constantly was ignored at the counter) to the taste of the burger, which were plain. The pizza was okay.

Recent review: Took my family here all 3 of us got food poisoning from the chicken burgers. Booked days off work and have to run to the toliet every two minutes, such a rubbish place used to be soo good this is my third and final visit. Older review: Ever since they started doing uber eats it's gone rubbish longer waits for the tables food because uber eats takes priority food is now lower quality. My tex mex burger came out crispy and wasn't even a fillet of chicken more like a quarter the thickness of one. Because its so thin it was over cooked. Burger came out fries came 7 mins later so burger was half cold waste of time and money

So the first two photos of the food I ordered is the silly billy which contains 6oz beef patty with peanut butter , banana , and honey well when I ordered it on deliveroo it didn’t come with peanut butter but covered in this ridiculous pickle juice sauce so I ran up they told me to get a refund through deliveroo so £16.00 deliveroo refunded me £1.00 … I then drove down to the shop and complained they made me a fresh burger and refunded me with a complete new order which was thankful of them . Maybe I should of checked the burger before I got back home because once again it’s got this ridiculous stupid relish on that’s minging I literally had this burger 3 days ago and it never had this relish on . As you can see on the 3rd and 4th pic it definitely has peanut butter on but this relish .. I won’t be ordering from here again 🤢shambles get what you pay for at the end of the day lol

Arguably the best Burger , the best Full Roast chicken and the best sweet & spicey wings I ever had . I ordered × 2 Lucey juicey Burgers and one full roast chicken extra spicey and 5 wings in sweet & spicey sauce. Everything was spot on , absolutely delicious , the service was good , friendly Lads on counter . Would definitely visit them again if passing by Leicester.

Me and my family enjoyed the food. We literally go there at least 4 times in a month. The food taste so delicious and rich with so much flavors, spices and the chicken there is well marinated. All thanks to the great food and services.

They can expand the place, not sure why the place is small. Anyway Food is amazing, but I didnt have good experience eating over cooked fries, not once or twice , but in multiple occasions!! They have the potential to be better!!

Ordered a juicy Lucy burger, specifically asked for it to be well done as you can see they sent me a burger which was not even cooked. It was raw. After to calling and speaking to them they didn't seem bothered and didn't even care! Disgusting. Place has gone downhill wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Underrated and underappreciated grilled chicken spot in Leicester. The Juicy Lucy is a must-eat along with the peri wings.

Great little place in town. On the rare occasion that I venture in to town, I make sure to grab some food from this place. Twice fried chicken wings are always on my order and they have a decent selection of sauces. Some other places, the chicken wings are covered with so much breading each bite you would think you were eating veggie wings. This place do the twice fry to perfection. Skin is nice and crispy with the fat nicely rendered out yet the meat is still soft and juicy. Burgers are on the gourmet level but at a value price point. The peri peri chicken is lovely and juicy. Not bothered with the pizzas yet but I rarely eat pizzas so may never try. Chips are good, despite the overall quality of chips from a lot a of Leicester food places going downhill for some reason. Staff are very friendly and always there to offer advice with the menu. Highly recommended

When my mates, who are out of town, know about this place, then it’s time for me to know about this place. Been healthy all day, so I thought it’s time to try their food. Got it delivered as it was raining all day, and I couldn't be bothered to go out. The food looked like it’s been in a tumble dryer, but the delivery guy did come on a bike. Nothing a fork couldn't help rearrange, though. The corn on the cob, known as the elote Mexicano, was tasty—full of flavor. Definitely a must if you're coming here. Next, I made my way through the rearranged Philly cheesesteak. Had my eye on this for a while, and it was banging. Wow, what have I been missing? It wasn’t that big, but definitely quality over quantity. They do say all good things come in small packages. Very flavorsome. Also happy to say the bun wasn’t soaked with juices. I could have had a few of these. On to my nachos—quite standard, really. Nothing special, but it’s a dish that’s done by lots, and not many places get it wrong. Could have done with a bit more salsa and cheese. Then the pizza to finish. Went for the mighty feast. Only could just about eat half, but every bite was delicious. Just the right amount of toppings on. Overall, a great experience and will be coming here again. Next time, I’d like to eat in, and I’ve got my eye on grizzpy kreme. Never had a doughnut for a bun before?!? Keep up the great work.

Great food. The chicken is beautiful. The burgers are juicy, just like Lucy! The vibe here definitely isn't where you come to romance someone. It's a den where you come to feed your soul. Takeaways are mostly what I get from here. Eating in with friends is always great, though.

Terrible service, first and last time eating from here

Ordered food from here, it might have been nice if it wasn't all cold! They also missed items off the order, and when I called to get them sent, the guy on the phone just kept saying "let us know next time you order", did all he could to avoid taking any blame or provide the service I paid for. Will not be ordering from here again, truly shocking

Chips were super soggy. Hot dogs use really low quality lamb sausage. Wasn't bad, but couldn't really be eaten like a hot dog. Chicken was nice. As were the onion rings.

Jalapeño bites horrific, burgers like my moms dirt old sock, chicken strips dry as hell. Never ordering again. I’ve never written a review but the food was so disgusting that i had to write something. Avoid it

We decided to treat ourselves and order from here delivery came we spent over £50 and they sent us 1 burger and frys we called to let them know they sent wrong order and encouraged us too complain to uber eats and re order so we did an hour later we received our delivery wrong twice in one day.. missing quite a few items we ended up with onion rings instead of a desert some how I wouldn't recommend ordering from here

Really bad customer service, very rude staff took an hour for us to get our food while customers who came after us, got their food before us, we kept asking on how long it’d take only to be told “coming now” we also ordered some wings which was doused in some herbs but clearly decided to pour the entire tub on it and served it anyway rather than sorting it out. Burgers were decent, but not worth the wait and bad customer service. Won’t be going back again.

A great little spot in the centre of town that has been around for a while, and for good reason. I have only eaten here a handful of times but I have enjoyed it each time. When you ask for ‘extra hot’ it is actually pretty spicy and not your generic ‘extra hot’ that you will find in most places.

I was impressed when they first opened. Initial thoughts great tasting burgers, it was new and different at the time. In recent times; I think they've over complicated the menu and the quality has gone down ever since at a time when there is more similar options offered elsewhere. They need to ignite that initial passion that initially attracted customers, to be honest for me the original menu items except the pizzas were really tasty, the new menu items are disappointing and let's be honest I cannot see many people raving about them. Grizzlers appear to be trying to hard to follow the trend. It's a shame, it used to be really nice. In terms of halal burgers they still offer something different from the rest but are seriously lacking in craftsmanship of old. Update August 2023: This place has really hit rock bottom now. The ethos seems to be earning money and disrespecting customers by providing really low quality meals. All they focused on feeding their own coffers. I would love to hear a response.
