The food was brilliant, service was excellent. We are looking to go again for another birthday celebration.

Lovely tasty food, at very reasonable prices, with such polite service from the waiters. Great location and surroundings and lovely decor inside the cottage. We will certainly be back when in the area.

A great local pub offering well cooked, tasty food with friendly and helpful service. Sunday roast was excellent. Dog friendly too and a good garden at the rear.

A very enjoyable Sunday lunch with good quality food served by great staff. To balance this review and explain why it wasn't 5 star, the roast parsnips were missed out from both our plates (plenty of other food though) and the restaurant is rather noisy. Would I return? Absolutely.

Fantastic service, lovely atmosphere and food was sublime. We all had steak, cooked to perfection and could immediately tell it was locally sourced and of superb quality. I have known the owners (Steve & Lucy) for over 30 years and have never disappointed. If you live in Leicestershire, or in the vicinity, it’s a must.

Had a lovely evening meal in their garden area which was really lovely, modern and cosy to eat in. The burgers were delicious and I also had cocktails which went down well. The waiter was very helpful and services was quick and slick. Definitely recommended.

Oh WOW ............... if you are looking for a beautiful meal in a small boutique restaurant this is the place. We booked in for lunch a family of 6 and a birthday celebration. The menu was stunning so many dishes I could of had chosen from and a set menu of either 2 or 3 courses. We chose some starters off the ala carte menu and then a main and pudding off the set menu. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. I had the stilton and walnut pate followed by beef and lamb shepherds pie with cheese mash and it was beautiful. A crepe to follow with gran marnia sauce was delicious. We had the crispy duck starters also which were amazing and the rest of the party had steak and chips and the steaks were everything you would expect from a restaurant of this quality. I know our food choice sounds a bit basic but the menu choice is excellent. I little gem of a restaurant in the heart of Market Bosworth and we will definately be going back.

Another excellent meal with lots of choice for everyone in our group, including vegetarians. Staff were knowledgeable and able to advise on the strength of different dishes. Service was friendly and attentive as ever. Would definitely recommend.

Four family members had a delicious lunch yesterday, as always well cooked and served, at a very reasonable price. With recent cost of living increases everywhere it is amazing that you can still get such good quality food in lovely surroundings at such good prices. We went for lunch for our anniversary. We are not regulars.,we were treated with courtesy and friendliness. Being vegetarian it can be difficult to get good food, not so here. The halloumi fries and chips were amazing! As was the veggie burger. Thank you. The beer was excellent, a great selection. Really enjoyable lunchtime

Fantastic find. Authentic and bespoke. The food was fresh, delicious and generous. Cannot wait to go back and really enjoy the afternoon teas.

From the moment you enter Marrakesh you feel great. The ambiance Jay the owner has created is superb. The roof is like a Moroccan tent with the most fantastic lamps and decorative finishes to transport you to foreign lands whilst in the heart of Lincolnshire. The menus is excellent with choices for all even offering variations of their amazing flatbreads ( all home made) for people who are intolerant. Highly recommend the Marrakesh specials as truly exceptional and when you realise you just can’t eat anymore the friendly waiting staff offer to box it up for you for later! Experience was so good we have booked again for a party of six plus a child ( yes they are child friendly too) and we are already looking forward to visiting again This will be a regular place to go now and deserves to be the top rated place to eat in Louth. Prices are very reasonable for such high quality food that melts in the mouth and the overall experience is second to none. Jay the owner and chef really is top notch. If you are ever in or near to Louth it’s a must visit place without doubt
