The best restaurants in East Midlands

Lots of Gluten Free options so I was excited, but staff did not have much of a clue. Food was OK, but contaminated tonight, so Coeliacs, stay away!

A nice cod and chip, large portions and good value. Very busy on a Sunday night, a slight wait but overall worth the visit. Curry sauce was very good.

We had our birthday dinner celebrated here few weeks back . Not very much options in menu but food was tasty. The customer service was good initially but finally when it came to Billing we did tell him multiple times we are going dutch as we were two couple, but he split the bill in equal half even after saying multiple times also we were charged with service tax . Since he was rushing we payed and took bill for us to clear between us , once we left the shop while reading bill we realised in the end it's written service tax only taken for people 5 and above , but still he charged us even though wevwere only 4 people. We felt we were fooled. While having dinner we were planning to return here with our family in future, but now I don't think I will choose this restaurant again. Felt highly disappointed

Lovely place; the food is reasonably priced and tastes great, the staff are lovely, and the design is quirky and fun. The Bowling is a lovely touch, and the family had a great time! Genuinely gutted the place is closing, I hope when the economy is back on its feet the owners can do something just as great again

It was my first visit to the Newdigate for a Sunday lunch. It was excellent, the whole team of staff work together brilliantly. Will definitely be back again.

Two stars lost on atmosphere, too much smoke/vape, with the door left open so it all blows in, and no one does anything - as this is a repeat let's make that three stars lost; plus one for the fantastic Nutella porridge and seemingly improved on the above, this is hard work btw...

Where do I start. Uncle Ben’s rice. Chicken shish and Lamb Kofte, terrible. Chewy, bad pieces of meat and to make it worse, overcooked. Trust me, I’ve been to many of the Turkish restaurants in Leicester and this isnt the one. Told the manager, he didn’t want to know.

birthday deal lunch, plain bland re heated burger and cold chips not what we thought it would be and pornstar martini incredibly bitter not for us won't be returning. staff were friendly, toilets no loo roll and glasses near sinks from night before.

Great food generous portions and absolutely delicious. Shame it was let down by the service 😕 it makes such a difference

I thought I would try the breakfast, not overly impressed only just warm and toast should have been seperate.

My fiance and I was staying over at West Haddon for the weekend and and dined out at the Pytchley Inn twice. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome.
