Brilliant place to come to enjoy a game of football. Atmosphere is great and the staff are always super friendly. The greene king app saves you money on a pre match. Overall fantastic experience.

Went to the sixfields Friday evening with my wife's sister and husband. Had reserved a table because we thought it would be busy . We were proved right. Because of the fair opposite the pub was heaving. Despite this, the service we received was superb and our meals were delicious, piping hot and served promptly and with a smile. We shouldn't be surprised though because we always have a lovely experience here. John Leonard.

We opted for breakfast with the Easter bunny at a different Greene king establishment to be absolutely mortified to how they carried on, so to not cause a scene and upset the children we come along to Sixfields hungry horse for there Greene king breakfast. The lovely young gentleman that brought us out our breakfast was absolutely lovely and polite and went above and beyond. Just to mention the breakfast was really good and all enjoyed it. Jonathan who was working behind the bar serving, had heard of our predicament and upon leaving came out to let the children know the Easter bunny had been caught up delivering eggs to other children but had made a stop and left 4 eggs for him to pass on to them. There little faces lit up! 😊 What a guy! So thank you Sixfields staff you made 4 kids very happy this morning

After watching the saints win in a fantastic game we decided to go for food and drinks. Arrived at the sixfields and it was packed. Thankfully, full credit to all the staff. All working so hard but still with smiles on the face and even made time to have chats and laughs. Service was great so full credit to everyone working that evening

Couldn’t get tickets to the MK game so decided to heard to sixfields to watch the game on that massive projector as seen it advertised on fb. Despite Cobblers being at home with Derby me and my mates got served pretty much straight away. If you want to watch your team play, head over there! The screen is incredible, atmosphere spot on and you always get served great quality pint. Was also great to see staff having body cams on to keep everyone safe!!! There is not a bad word I could say about this pub. Honestly- what a change

Disappointing! Booked a table for our family and another family to enjoy after some Easter activities. We were told by staff that another group had moved the reserved sign from our table and wouldn’t move to accommodate our booking. Everything from there on in was hard work, finding a replacement table, cutlery etc was all slow going, went to take my boy to the toilet and the cubicle was a war crime. Food was reasonable but various mistakes across the orders but by this time we’d given up.

Really good evening out, staff are great and food is spot on. Prices are very reasonable. We come here often and its very recommended

Dinner was tasty but the staff where the best. Ali and Lauren made the dining experience that much nicer. Anya was also fab as she noticed the noise level affecting the little one and whisked her off to the quieter table we had booked. Thanks team for a great Mother's Day experience.

Came here before and after the football. All staff were great but especially Jonny. The guy couldn’t have done more for us and everyone else in the pub.

Restaurant was good & service was fast. However, when halloumi fries had come out they had carried it carelessly causing the sweet chilli sauce to be spilt all over them. Chocolate fudge cake *which states that it is served warm* was freezing cold didn’t bother...

Had Lunch here with a friend , didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. Just want to shot out to the staff as they are really nice . The food was hot and fresh . Much better than the other one in Northampton .

Food was nice and good value for money. Place was quite dirty, booked a table but told on arrival to sit anywhere, plenty of tables available but all of them dirty from previous occupants. Table cleaned for us but the floor around the table was disgusting. Portion sizes for desserts varied dramatically meaning we all paid the same price but some of us got twice as much as others. Desserts also came out at different times meaning some were finished their dessert before others had even started. The manager was very polite and accommodating, rest of the staff not so much.

Went for lunch today with my best friend and little boy. I had a minor hickup with my meal but the staff especially Carrie were amazing. My order was rectified and they were super friendly and efficient. Being really busy nothing was a problem for them. They truly were remarkable.Thank you for a great accomaditing visit

Just back from here today our meals were very good, all had something different tbh. Service was excellent by I think it was Mirran looked after us well. Attentive waitress. Despite the fact we seemed to have arrived at a busy time.

We were looked after by Richard , who was very attentive. He also interacted well with my sons and nephew. We were a large group, so we had mix of starters, mains and desserts, out of whole group only complaint was the veg was a little al dente for their taste.! Overall good service and food.

Super Horse and Breakfast with Santa was superb.Santa was amazing.The breakfast service was very efficient and the food quality from Jack was great.Delicious food and very good portions The children enjoyed their selection boxes and a big shout out to Rich the boss too.He is a trooper.

Came to the Sixfields on Friday evening with group of friends for pre xmas dinner and few drinks. We didn’t book but luckily the lady named Ania who I believe was the manager that night welcomed us and found a table (8of us) with no issue and was so kind and welcoming. She also told us about the Michael Buble tribute act. Oh boy… what a night that was!!! Great food, atmosphere, the manager on the ball with absolutely everything. The place was so so busy but so well organised at the same time. A big shout out to Ania and a huge thank you!!! We know where to go next time and have guaranteed great time out

What did you expect? Tacky, dirty, poor quality food which will probably suit some of the clientele witnessed who seemed to be only interested in getting the maximum possible calories for the least possible price. Avoid.

Had a couple of pints and a meal - scampi and chips. Would say it is typical food for this type of Pub although I felt the atmosphere was good. They need to pay attention to the toilets as these did not match the total experience, both male and female.Would go back if this was fixed.

Firstly, I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to Loz. She was absolutely amazing with my fussy eater son and just in general. Super quick service and extremely friendly. Secondly, food was spot on. Me and my kiddies loved our meals.

Well, where do I start…This evening we dined on table 9, a last minute decision after work. Boy…what a great idea it was. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by a lovely lady, unfortunately being a last minute decision we hadn’t booked and this lovely lady immediately resolved this problem and promptly found us a table. Our drinks orders were prompt and fresh, served with a smile. Our food was hot and delicious, made our mouths water just looking at it. The time we spent at our table No.9 was filled with atmosphere and joy, this lovely lady who welcomed up into the venue was so pleasant and caring, always coming to make sure we were happy and satisfied. She was so kind and made sure we were smiling and entertained. When our dessert came, we had a slight issue, this lady rushed to our attention with concern and immediately ran off and corrected the situation, she apologies ever so nicely and really made us feel appreciated and welcome as guests. I couldn’t have asked for better service.This ladies name is Ania, she was the manager for the night and I can completely understand why. Many thanks to the hungry horse and all the staff.

We eat here quite a bit because the food is pretty good, the staff are friendly and it’s good value. Tonight they didn’t have what we ordered for my daughter but Richard came to the rescue and went the extra mile to sort something out for her, thank you Richard! It can get really busy, especially on match days so make sure you book a table if you want to eat.

Came in on Saturday , was very busy but managed to find a table. Our food and experience was very pleasant. Our server Bet was very friendly and attentive, helping us with anything we needed. Really appreciated her and the service!

Lovely pub with nice atmosphere. Staff were really attentive and helpful. Especially when there was a problem with one of our meals. They looked after us, replacing the meal and providing extra drinks (FoC) whilst we waited. They even brought us a free giant pudding as an apology. Still had a lovely evening thanks to the lovely staff.

Came in tonight with a biggish party, pre ordered food, it was ready and on our table within 10mins. Which made us extremely happy as we was all starving. Food was hot and enjoyed by many we all Had a mixture of the sharing platters. Jack, loz, mirran, Lucy and esme all played a part in serving us from bar to table service. Thank you guys!

On a really busy night he still managed to make sure we had somewhere to sit as we had a 4 year old with us. He continued to make us feel welcome by being chatty and friendly. Thank you Richard!

Richard from the offset made us aware the lack of table due to being a busy night however he eventually sat us down and not only made us feel welcome he went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt like she was the most important person in the room. Can’t fault him !
