Took our Granddaughters last week and we all had a lovely meal 👍and they asked when we can come again, lovely staff and very afficiant and obliging we always come for our food here when in Mansfield

Great food. Great service. Catered well for a friend who requires gluten free.

Unreal pulled pork, Garlic Ciabatta and honey feta. Ordered on the app and was on the table in 10 mins. Ordered extra, whilst eating and that come even quicker. 10/10 for the range. Just wish they had Olives.

A lovely cozy restaurant/bistro I would call it. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options.

Totally overpriced food with very poor service. I paid over £25 for 2 drinks and a sandwich. The sandwich was literally just that and it was a child's portion. The sandwich was cold and greasy. I asked for bbq sauce but it never came? I think I'll give it a miss next time

I go to Capo Lounge fairly often due to a great gluten free menu. I had the Gluten free veggie breakfast today it was so delicious, definitely recommended

We had to check out of our apartment stay at 10am, but couldn't start our train journey to Edinburgh until 3pm. I had scouted out the Capo Lounge as a place that was likely to be accommodating-- and we weren't disappointed. There as a place for the four of us to place our suitcases and other baggage. There were several tables that would accommodate us. Other guests were pleasant and chatty, and when we explained our situation to the staff they said we were welcome to stay as long as we needed. The atmosphere is homey and very family friendly. The decor is quirky and eclectic, but very comfortable. There is ample seating spread across two floors. The menu is extensive, and offers something for everyone. The food is beautifully prepared, tasty, and filling. Beverages arrived quickly and again well-prepared. Water is self-serve and iced. If you ever happen to be in Mansfield, I encourage you to stop by and enjoy this delightful Cafe! Well worth the money!

A great place to eat breakfast, unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of coming there at lunch time yet. A very pleasant place to look at, interestingly decorated. There is also a children's corner. The service is very friendly. The food is really delicious and the prices are affordable. Our favorite place for breakfast in Mansfield. We will definitely come here again.

I had my bridal shower hosted at the Capo Lounge and everything was perfect. We were given a nice area to ourselves upstairs and the staff couldn't have done more for us, but one who really stood out was CJ. He went above and beyond to make sure we all had the perfect night and he is an absolute credit to the team!

We came today for lunch and had the Tapas, it was delicious! The service was great and food came quickly. Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back soon!

Lovely place, coffee was nice and cakes were delicious. Interesting decor, although I have to admit that a huge painting of Lenin and his army was not something I expected to see. I guess art is art 😅

Lovely , friendly , clam chill out place to either come for a quick drink or pop in for a bite to eat. Breakfast , lunch and dinner , tapas all on the menu. Me and my hubby popped in, child free and had a lunch time snack with coffee. Surrounded by all the amazing and weird pictures/photos. Would recommend and we will definitely be returning. :D Cater for allergens. You are asked at the door if you require dietary needs

Great menu, lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed the vegan Mexican superbowl which was very tasty. I would love the recipe for the black beans. Aubergine hummus flatbread is also good value and healthy if you don't add the fries like me! We will definitely be back soon thanks

Always get beautiful food here and lovely service but on this occasion we got the extra special treatment in the form of cake! Having over heard that a chef had made a cake we was intrigued! And to out delight we got to sample a piece! It was delicious! I think her name was Mo? Apologies if i got that wrong. Thank you!

They need to wash the glasses better , they weren't clean. Also random kids were messing around in the toilets.

I come in here a lot and I’m never disappointed but today I had the best experience. The waitress we had was mad in the best way. So funny and bright she really made it a great day!

This atmosphere needs emulating down south, friendly interactive staff, no stuffy uniforms and personality to match, food spot on, leagues above your regular cafe, has made me make my first google review, pleasure to eat breakfast here

The atmosphere is very chilled out. The cleanliness is a cause for concern. The table and salt and pepper pots were dirty. But that we thought was just about the table and being busy but we were not prepared for the filth of the crockery, absolutely disgusting on the cups and milk jugs and teapots. The coffee's did taste nice but the hygiene left a bitter taste in the mouth. We ordered a vegetarian soup and got chicken soup.! The panini was tasty though small and burnt on the edges. The chips were cold. The harissa chicken flatbread was delicious but cold. The assistant manager on duty refunded the cost of the drinks on my complaining. The place needs a deep clean and portions need to be considered.

Monday evening catch up with friends, it was very quiet in the restaurant, but the food and service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

Lovely dog friendly cafe, lots of food and drink choices. We ordered avocado on toast, chicken burger and Parmesan fries. With a water melon ice tea. Only negative it was £2.50 for a dog sausage 🫢, in other places they are normally 50p - £1 max.

The service is always perfect here. Breakfast and the lunch menu are delicious!!!! We eat there at least once a month!

I visit Capo lounge once maybe twice a month. I love the atmosphere. My parents have visited me for some time and came from abroad so I took them for lunch. Unfortunately, I have not experienced the best attitude towards me. Long story short, I went to self-service station to grab a glass of water but the glasses were dirty and sticky. When I have kindly asked one member of the staff (lady) for clean glass she brought me the one from the self-service station for water. I have kindly asked her to bring me a clean different glass as those are all sticky and dirty. She said that it might take her 5 min to bring me a different glass, so I have said ok no problem at all, after that she took the glass from me, firmly placed it back on her tray with attitude, shakes her head, rolled her eyes left and never returned back with the glass. When different member of the staff brought us food, I have asked her kindly to bring me clean glass and she brought it within few seconds. I have never experienced attitude like this from any other members of the staff before. As a customer I don’t appreciate attitude like this especially for only asking for a clean glass. That should be the priority for any restaurant to be clean and tidy…

Went in today for breakfast. Didn’t have tomatoes or mushrooms cos I don’t like them but had extra toast n hash browns. Absolutely delicious. Everything cooked perfect. Lovely staff Lovely place

I love this place, one of our favourite restaurants and always visit when in town. Their lounge breakfast is the best cooked breakfast I have ever tasted and the coffee is really good too.

So, a friend has been coming here for brunch for a long time. This weekend we finally checked it out for ourselves. We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were treated by a lovely man who gave me the gluten free menu and asked to sit wherever was free. This place is very chilled out. The décor is somewhere between kitch and Victorian cafe. We had the tapas. There was not a bad dish. Everything was hot, delicious and a great introduction to the food. There is literally something for everyone. All my food came with flags. Personal recommendations are the chilli brisket and sweetcorn and cheese fritters. But what pleased me the most was I had a choice of dessert. I mean a cheesecake I could eat I nearly did my happy dance. The drinks menu is good too. We sampled a fair selection. Finally the staff are young, chatty and nothing was too much trouble. What a lovely bunch of people. We'll be back and I'll be trying the nasi goreg.

The capo lounge is an interesting place to visit. I only had drinks here however I will sample the food another time. The art on the wall is eclectic and interesting. The toilets was clean as they should be.

Top place to go in mansfild, yummy food, amazing cocktails, and woulderful happy staff! Been in and out over afew years with groups of different friends and they've all wanted to go back! Not been disappointing as of yet keep up the good work! 👌

Food hot and ordered using app plenty of variety on the menu.

The food is amazing- hats off to the chefs. The staff they have try their best but they do not have enough staff to cope at busy times. They ask you to wait to be seated which is a great idea & I support. But again there is not enough staff and customers walk past the queue & take the available tables. Because there is insufficient staff meals are delivered without everything that was ordered or without cutlery & it's impossible to find anyone to remedy it. The staff work incredibly hard but get the flack from being constantly understaffed. A simple solution to me would seem to be a member of staff to meet & greet & clear tables to take pressure off the other staff. This situation is nothing to do with the Capo & everything to do with the bean counters in head office who don't understand poor experience leads to less custom.

Took forever to get someone to actually acknowledge we wanted a table. After 10 minutes of being seen and ignored someone finally came to us. Food portions extremely small, chips were only half full in the little serving kettle

Will definitely return. Food was absolutely spot on. The service was soo fast & the staff were lovely. Highly recommended when looking for food in Mansfield. Only criticism is that there's a sign as you walk in, telling you to wait to be seated.... We waited there for a good 5 minutes or so & nobody came over to us, so we had to ask at the bar & they said to find ourselves a table....... Slightly annoying & easily avoided by moving the sign. Could be enough to lose a customer if someone's stood at the "wait here" sign for too long with no acknowledgement. But overall, really pleased we tried this place :-)

Nice friendly and comfortable bar. Nicely decorated etc. However I didn't think it was appropriate for a member of staff to be doing her hair behind the bar when serving customers. Some of the staff could do with smartening up there appearance as in wearing smarter clothes. And perhaps less time on their mobile phones. Apart from those issues we enjoyed a nice pint.

We have been to the Lounges before and visit the Retford one ( Rondo Lounge ) often. We decided to visit Capo Lounge. The service was absolutely awful. The staff just put our drinks and food on the table without a word and walked off. No one asked if it was ok. The staff were just incredibly unfriendly and literally didn’t speak to us during our whole visit. Perhaps it was because we ordered on our phone and didn’t leave a tip. Very disappointing that the lounges vary so much .

Most cocktails advertised wasn’t available, no house wine or Chardonnay available, sarcastic waitress when I was trying to decide what else to order. Rubbish quiz night.

As an ex-regular of Toro Lounge in Cirencester , the similarities in the Capo Lounge brings back a homely feel. The food was great, packed with a friendly atmosphere. Will be back again soon

Don't order the buttermilk pancakes! They are store bought and taste tough and frankly stale to eat. The look great, but me and my son couldn't eat them, he spat them out and they definitely were microwaved and tasted overly-chewy. Despite having only tried a mouthful, which was put back on the plate, we were not offered a refund when I told them about their food. They did offer another plate, but we didn't have time for that. So wasted £7 (yes £7 for children menu pancakes). My advice is just make your own at home for half the price and 10x the quality. My breakfast was lovely however, I had a shakshuka, which was only £2 more at £9 which I felt was really reasonable! But if a customer comes back with a full plate of food and tells you it's poor quality and inedible and you tell me they are store bought, I'd suggest that it's decent practice to offer a refund. Instead, I'll offer this review. I will be back, but not for that menu item.

Food is so poor, laced with mayonnaise or some type of sauce to hide the fact that the portion sizes are tiny and very basic.

This is a lovely place to stop for lunch when out shopping or afternoon drinking. The food is so good and there's plenty of choice. The drinks menu also has a good selection with plenty of cocktails, beers and wines, the gin selection isn't the biggest but there's always one I fancy so not a problem. Using the app makes it easier to order as you can't always get to the bar when it's busy and the waiting time isn't long for both food & drinks. Food is always fresh and we keep going back to try new things. Would definitely recommend.

We went for our Christmas meal with work .11 of us got our food the 12 one did nor cone till we were finished .
