William IV in Mansfield

I hired out the function room for a surprise party. The DJ and food are reasonably priced. The room is perfect with a bar, tables and a dance floor which leads to the outside area with a climbing frame for children. From start to finish everyone was friendly and communication throughout has been excellent. They were so relaxed and accommodating with decorations and music being played. I will definitely use this venue again and will highly recommend it to other people.

Go for a regular group and have a good time with no issues from staff about gender or dress

Been I here a couple of times just after visiting the doctors very welcoming and the locals are welcoming to always willing to involve in there chats and groups

Great pub and warm welcome from the landlord and landlady. A friendly atmosphere all round. Price of the drinks are very reasonable. The pub hosts some fabulous singers/ artists and room to have a dance, should you desire. Great night had by all.

Absolutely great place to socialise, Matt and bec are so welcoming and friendly. And everyone else that was there socialising were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if your wanting a nice chill out.

We booked a function at William IV and it exceeded our expectations. Rebecca & Matthew went out there way to make sure that everything was perfect. The food that we received was gorgeous. What great value for £5 per head. They also helped us decorate the room. I will be definitely booking this venue again for future events. Absolutely amazing.

Last Monday, 29th July, William IV hosted my Nanna’s wake, and I couldn't be more impressed. The service we received was fantastic, and it was incredible value for money. First off, the venue itself was free to hire, which was a huge plus. We had full use of the function space, and they even let us play our own music by plugging into their speaker system. It really made the atmosphere personal and special. The food was both affordable and delicious. It’s rare to find such good quality at such a reasonable price, and it really added to the overall positive experience. A standout feature was the kids' play park outside. It was a great addition and kept the kids entertained throughout the event, allowing the adults to focus on reminiscing and celebrating my Nanna’s life. The venue was kept to a high standard, looking clean and well-maintained. The landlord was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome and looked after. Overall, I highly recommend William IV for any event. It’s budget-friendly without compromising on quality, and the service was top-notch. I’m definitely planning to return for future occasions.

A great pub that is very welcoming! The staff are amazing and could not do enough to make us comfortable and accommodated for our function. The buffet provided was great quality and value for money, they even accommodated for multiple dietary requirements. The DJ set up was professional and they catered to our musical tastes perfectly. The car park was big enough to accommodate all our guests and the play area was great for the young ones in our party. The drinks were very reasonably priced. Myself and my partner would definitely recommend the pub and the function space to anyone!

Every time I visit I am welcomed with a smiley face. The pub host plenty of great singers and acts. Rebecca, Matt and the team always go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a nice evening. Music is always on, inside and out. Which is perfect if you want a beer in the sun! I’ve also got a function coming up, the selection of food for a buffet is amazing. And you cannot beat the price! Any questions I’ve had, Matt and Rebecca are always happy to help. Just an amazing pub, and even better team!

Lovely little pub, great venue for a party, have already booked again for next year ! Little Park on the back for kids kept them entertained. Great staff all in all 10/10 from us!

Visited the pub to celebrate a hen night around 20 of us, fabulously quick service at the bar and all the bar staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed the night in William 1V.

Amazing homemade food. Says what it is on the tin. Small easy going menu no inflated prices. Would highly recommend the Jacket potato and various fillings, and the toasty and pannies are also just as good. Good tasting beers as well.

My partner and I hosted our engagement party here and had the best experience with our family and friends. The function room was free to hire and was decorated perfectly for the event. Chose to have my daughter's 2nd birthday party here because of the location and room size and cost. Was well looked after, everyone had a great time. They supplied the DJ and we supplied the decorations and food. All came together nicely on the day. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to hold a party or event. Even the surprise snowfall on the day didn't cause an issue. If we were to hold another family party, we would definitely return. Huge carpark out the back also really handy for guests, all drinks reasonably priced and staff were lovely and welcoming. Thanks for being a part of making her birthday special. Visited for the children’s Halloween disco, the kids loved it. The entertainment was very good and the service from the bar staff was great, despite it being very busy! In all the years I’ve visited the pub, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so busy. Keep up the good work!

Really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is far bigger than it looks on the outside and has everything you could really want - excellent selection of beer that is fairly priced, a pool table, dart board, games machine and jukebox, as well as lots of space. The landlord and landlady, Matt and Rebecca, are very accommodating and friendly and the staff provide excellent service with a smile!

Love this pub! Great local pub on your way into town. Only gave 4 on food as I've only eaten once, I think, and it was great. Provide sausage and/or bacon cobs on a race day and food prices are very good and service is always polite and friendly. Don't forget, it's the brewery who charge the prices, not the landlord Lee 😉

This is, without doubt, a Brilliant Pub. If you're local you will already know how good it is, if not, then rest assure that this pub is a very warm,clean and welcoming place indeed. Great selection of beers with Brilliant facilities for a family or just a couple of workers calling in. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating at the rear, with a clean and well kept fun area for the kids when the weather is good. William lV is loving known locally as the 'Top House' and is certainly a Top Pub. A traditional two sided style set up venue with hot meals available and even a nice sheltered area for the Old Smokers, lol. The staff are exceptional and very polite. This is a certainly a great pub/venue that sets the standard.

Surprising little gem!!!!! Welcoming, great drinks and nice people. Few noted bonuses: -Enough plug sockets in the games room to supply Carsic (massive bonus) -It has a fish tank!!!! -50% off Gins???? How could you not.

I went here for something to eat on Thursday with my friend I ordered the lasagne it tasted delicious and it was very fresh and it tasted like it was homemade I ordered some onion rings they was yummy . It was a nice Atmosphere...

Honestly the best local boozer in Mansfield. Trudy is my favourite barmaid to walk the earth. Well priced drinks, good choice and such a friendly atmosphere. The juke box is life changingly good.

The beer is good Mansfield by Marstons is pretty good. Food is competitively priced from standard Marstons menu. I had pie was acceptable but slightly overcooked. Great for a quick reasonably priced meal.

We recently had a wake for a parent that sadly passed away. I cant speak highly enough on the service provided by all the staff. The food was excellent and even provided boxes so the left over food could be taken home. The bar staff were so professional and even brought the drinks to us at the table. I would definitely recommend using this place for any function. Thanks again to all the staff on such a good job 👏
