William IV in Mansfield

Had my dads funeral yesterday very good service food was amazing my family and friends was very happy. We was very looked after.

Visited the pub to celebrate a hen night around 20 of us, fabulously quick service at the bar and all the bar staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed the night in William 1V.

William IV is a charming pub with a fantastic atmosphere. The friendly staff and extensive drink selection make it a delightful spot for a casual night out. The rustic decor adds to the cozy vibe. Highly recommended for a laid-back evening with friends!

Amazing homemade food. Says what it is on the tin. Small easy going menu no inflated prices. Would highly recommend the Jacket potato and various fillings, and the toasty and pannies are also just as good. Good tasting beers as well.

New owners and a new change!!! Marstons beer, but Matthew & Rebecca's own menu!!! Nice prices and easy, feel good food. Would highly recommend. Big gated kids play area. Dog friendly pub as well!!!

Booked for a party. Managers were amazing really helpful with every aspect. Helped to decorate, asked us what we wanted for food. Really recommend. Will book again. Staff great and helpful. Facilities were great, very happy. Thank you so much. Especially as I was stressing about the decorations. Great value for money. Great night!!!!

We had our Christmas staff do here. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. As a group of teachers it was great to use the function room and be able to let our hair down. The music quiz and games really helped the night go with a bang. Thank you

My partner and I hosted our engagement party here and had the best experience with our family and friends. The function room was free to hire and was decorated perfectly for the event. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the landlord and landlady really put in the extra work to make our night more special. Reasonably priced drink and all-round excellent atmosphere.

Amazing pub, the function room is amazing plenty of space for a great party. Super friendly staff and great prices for the drinks. We will definitely be going back

Chose to have my daughter's 2nd birthday party here because of the location and room size and cost. Was well looked after, everyone had a great time. They supplied the DJ and we supplied the decorations and food. All came together nicely on the day. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to hold a party or event. Even the surprise snowfall on the day didn't cause an issue. If we were to hold another family party, we would definitely return. Huge carpark out the back also really handy for guests, all drinks reasonably priced and staff were lovely and welcoming. Thanks for being a part of making her birthday special. Will continue to recommend to others and support your upcoming events 👍🏼

A great night in the function room. Great new owners who provided enjoyable entertainment and a lovely buffet. The new owners are lovely and went above and beyond to make our party.

Had a baby shower for my daughter, the lovely back room was lovely an perfect for our little family gathering, nothing was too much, we also had a little buffet which everyone fully well enjoyed, highly recommend for any kind of parties thanks..

Visited for the children’s Halloween disco, the kids loved it. The entertainment was very good and the service from the bar staff was great, despite it being very busy! In all the years I’ve visited the pub, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so busy. Keep up the good work!

Friendly staff but absolutely foul ale ,my son and I left half of our drink and my daughter in law had bottled so she was fine ,never again.

Really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is far bigger than it looks on the outside and has everything you could really want - excellent selection of beer that is fairly priced, a pool table, dart board, games machine and jukebox, as well as lots of space. The landlord and landlady, Matt and Rebecca, are very accommodating and friendly and the staff provide excellent service with a smile!

Love this pub! Great local pub on your way into town. Only gave 4 on food as I've only eaten once, I think, and it was great. Provide sausage and/or bacon cobs on a race day and food prices are very good and service is always polite and friendly. Don't forget, it's the brewery who charge the prices, not the landlord Lee 😉

This is, without doubt, a Brilliant Pub. If you're local you will already know how good it is, if not, then rest assure that this pub is a very warm,clean and welcoming place indeed. Great selection of beers with Brilliant facilities for a family or just a couple of workers calling in. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating at the rear, with a clean and well kept fun area for the kids when the weather is good. William lV is loving known locally as the 'Top House' and is certainly a Top Pub. A traditional two sided style set up venue with hot meals available and even a nice sheltered area for the Old Smokers, lol. The staff are exceptional and very polite. This is a certainly a great pub/venue that sets the standard.

Surprising little gem!!!!! Welcoming, great drinks and nice people. Few noted bonuses: -Enough plug sockets in the games room to supply Carsic (massive bonus) -It has a fish tank!!!! -50% off Gins???? How could you not.

I went here for something to eat on Thursday with my friend I ordered the lasagne it tasted delicious and it was very fresh and it tasted like it was homemade I ordered some onion rings they was yummy . It was a nice Atmosphere...

Honestly the best local boozer in Mansfield. Trudy is my favourite barmaid to walk the earth. Well priced drinks, good choice and such a friendly atmosphere. The juke box is life changingly good.

All the staff are amazing, such a warm welcome. My children were made to feel like they were an addition to the venue as oppressed to a hindrance. Food was hot, fresh & very tasty. Highly recommend

We had our Wedding reception here and they was very helpful from the start of booking to the the very end of the day the room was stunning and just as we wanted and the buffet was amazing and this was reflected by the guests comments to us which we fed back to the staff and it had a play area for the kids would highly recommend to anyone for a function..Many thanks to Lee and staff members for making our day even more special and going that extra mile with little personalised details

The beer is good Mansfield by Marstons is pretty good. Food is competitively priced from standard Marstons menu. I had pie was acceptable but slightly overcooked. Great for a quick reasonably priced meal.

Lovely cosy friendly pub and nice food

We recently had a wake for a parent that sadly passed away. I cant speak highly enough on the service provided by all the staff. The food was excellent and even provided boxes so the left over food could be taken home. The bar staff were so professional and even brought the drinks to us at the table. I would definitely recommend using this place for any function. Thanks again to all the staff on such a good job 👏

Had a good night, food orders bit mixed up, but it was busy, felt covid safe which is the main thing, 26th Nov 21 had a good value for money meal last night changed my egg to pouched on the mixed grill it's the little things in life, every one very friendly 💓

Called in on a Friday night after a meal. First time in the area. Staff were welcoming. Good selection of drinks and prices are good. Will return to try the food. Good sized pub with conservatory and beer garden.

Went there for a bite to eat following a funeral, all staff helpful and understanding, food good just what we needed. Would definitly recomend. They also gave me a bouquet of flowers to express their condolences.
