Great atmosphere, amazing food and at good prices. Portion sizes are huge and staff are all lovely, a really nice local family run restaurant

Highly recommended! A true Italian experience.

Went here for 8:30 on Sunday night, avoiding the early doors rush, and had the place almost to ourselves. Didn't matter though, as the music, lighting, and especially the staff, created a very pleasant atmosphere to dine in. Ordered a half carafe of house red wine, which was tastier than wines we have had at twice the price elsewhere. No starters, but ordered main courses of Lasagne and a Diavalo pizza. Although fairly standard fare in an Italian restaurant, both dishes were as good as the best we have had anywhere. The sauce surrounding the Lasagne was so good that we had to use the pizza crusts to mop it all up. The restaurant can cater for large groups or couples comfortably. The kitchen is open plan and there is on road parking outside. Unfortunately, we were only visiting the area from Yorkshire, and may well never be able to visit again. If this was anywhere near our home, this would be our regular spot for eating out.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

I had a veggie main, which was OK, but like something I would have made at home. Everyone else (meat eaters) enjoyed theirs. The tiramisu was horrible, it was a pre-bought one that tasted stale or like it had been frozen too long, I think that revealed it's not run by Italians! Overall, I enjoyed it and would return with a big group.

Wow! The food and service were both incredible, I would really reccomend this place if you like itialian. The meatball starter was divine. Absolute gem in beeston. If I could rate higher than 5 star I would. Service was like no other very impressive. Thanks for a lovely meal we will be back.

Very hot and very busy. Would of loved the aircon on I ask but it wasn't put on. So was left quiet uncomfortable. Food was pricy not sure weather I would return

Absolutely amazing! I’ve been here more times than I can count now! Me and my partner even celebrated our anniversary here, it’s one of the friendliest and most banter full places in Nottingham and the food is absolutely to die for. Their portion sizes are brilliant and their prices aren’t too dear either. As an added bonus if you do takeaway they have a small discount too! If you’re on the fence about going just go and have the time of your life!

We ate here last weekend. Incredibly welcoming staff. We weren’t rushed to our table and had time to finish our drinks before, despite being a Saturday night. Food was really good, nice portion sizes, wine list was excellent. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are huge, when the starters came out I thought they must be the main meal!! We had a few different starters between us which were all really good, the pizza in the photos is a starter 😳. For my main course I had Fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and was out of this world. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert finished everything off perfectly, my wife had the cheese cake which she absolutely loved. Everyone who works there are so friendly and welcoming. We went on a Thursday evening and the atmosphere was really good. Very highly recommend you go and I've attached some photos of the food so you can see the portion sizes of everything.

Stumbled across this lovely restaurant on our way home from a vist to Nottingham university. What a find! The food was amazing, the service was brilliant, the whole experience was 5star, we live in Manchester a 2 hour drive away, but will definitely be finding an excuse to return, thanks for a lovely evening, ( and the glasses ) Debby and family

However the reply was no and the voucher has been withdrawn WHAT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT?!

Sergio is our FAVOURITE family server and we can’t fault him. Everytime we come to Amores it’s because of Sergio. Couldn’t fault him, always laughs and always fun 🤩 when he’s around. Food is good as well but he is the main reason myself and my family come here!!! Been coming here for 15 years at least all because of how Sergio is and how he serves us, can’t fault him at all!

This is a great venue for a meal with friends or family, couples or groups. We had a delicious meal. Amores makes the best calzones I've had anywhere! My friend said hers was the best vegan pizza she'd had in a restaurant. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

My partner and I have been here a few times over the last couple of months.. I absolutely love the food. It is authentic and very delicious 10/10. Unfortunately we have found the service to be unsatisfactory the last few visits. We have booked the table for say, 8:30pm we have arrived at 8:30pm expecting to be seated at our table. Every time we have arrived we have been sat in the reception area and offered a drink. This is fine I enjoy sitting there for a while but every time this has been for around 45 minutes! I have had to ask my partner to remind them we are there and to ask when we will have our table, which they immediately seat is when asked. This makes me wonder how long we would be sat there if they were not prompted to seat us. The guys are really friendly but when you are hungry and waiting 45 minutes for a table you booked well in advance, it is very frustrating. I have decided to try alternative Italians in the area next time to see what the service and wait time is like there. Which is a shame as I LOVE the food but don’t want to have to turn up 45 minutes early to a table booking. I appreciate this once but every time is a bit much. This shows this is a regular thing. Sorry about the review but I think you guys need to be aware as you will lose customers treating them like this. Thanks x

New visit: Again a great experience. It is a nice dining experience and caters for large groups/families. We had a 3 month with no issues. Lasagne was delicious. Couldn't see meatballs on the menu. Although the menu is very good. Very charming staff. Previous visit: Always a guaranteed pleaser. Food is always great tasting and supreme quality. Busy so need to book. Great for large occasions. Atmosphere is nice and parking also. Great choices for all budgets. But food always very tasty.

Family of 5 visit for Mothering Sunday lunch. The service is second to none,staff are so welcoming and friendly,nothing is too much trouble. The food is beautiful, hot and presentation always looks great. Plenty of choice from the starters mains and delicious desserts. Fantastic night at Amores, our go to place whenever we’re in the area. Food is absolutely delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection. My children always have the lasagne, it’s their favourite! Amores is a warm, welcoming place, it gets busy, which just proves it’s a hit. The family who own the restaurant are always very welcoming, we always have the best time here. Ha ha margarita pizza advertised with sprinkling of herbs and FRESH basil. No sign of either. It was cheesr & tomato as you buy at a supermarket.

Damn noisy! My food was good (seafood fettuccine) but my wife's margarita pizza was poor. It was supposed to have herbs and fresh basil and it didn't. It was exceptionally bland. She did enjoy her Gelato.

Mediocre food, good location but sadly, empty promises of table reservations. Waited 20 mins before realising that, after all, this is yet another generic Italian restaurant fronted by a guy with an accent. 🙄

Hadn't been imhere in a few years, I had calamari to start, was ok, main was ok, but chicken overcooked, it was a butterflied breast, but overdone... waiter (older guy) got the order wrong

We went on a Sunday Evening (they open at 5.30pm). I expected it to be fairly quiet but it didn’t take long for it to be quite packed. Lovely food and an extensive menu choice. £394 for food and drink for 10 people.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. From the moment I stepped in the door, I felt welcomed like family. The staff are friendly and helpful and will joke with you like they've known you for life. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken at once. We ordered shortly thereafter and the food came out in an adequate amount of time and piping hot. The food is absolutely amazing. It is flavorful and you can tell its been made fresh for you. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy with an air of sophistication. It is very clean and in good repair. If you're in Beeston, this is a restaurant you must visit, you wont be disappointed.

An amazing Italian restaurant in the heart of England! I visited this restaurant with my partner and we had three dishes: Antipasto Amore as a starter, and as a main course Risotto Pescatore and Wild Mushroom Risotto. We happily enjoyed very good hams, buttery olives, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, succulent prawns, nice cheese and salad with refreshing pints of Poretti. Risotto Pescatore was super-yummy! It has a perfect Italian taste which only very good chefs can bring out of the riches of the sea. Savory, creamy mushrooms with crunchy texture were superb; this risotto’s “umami” continued to stimulate our appetite. Cheerful and attentive staff, reasonable prices, and great authentic dishes: Felicitous experience!!

Had a fabulous time the meal was amazing as it always is .the staff was very friendly and very helpful. We used our baubles from Christmas we had won over £30 they was a great idea hopefully you will be doing something again. I would definitely buy some more baubles again.

1st time at amores and already going to book for my birthday in February. Waiter service was 100% the staff were very friendly.

Called in by chance after cinema and we were both pleasantly surprised and pleased. A bright open space, welcoming staff and excellent meals. We will go again.

Overly expensive italian dining, Main meals start at around £15.99 for calzone(which was bland) to £26.99 for the cheapest steak. Not happy with plates being passed over other eaters to get to you though ,not very professional (one slip and 3 people would have been covered) If you want authentic italian go to Sexy Momma Loves Spaghetti in Nottingham!!

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner, such a great time and food! The waiters were very polite and professional and the food and wine was outstanding. Definitely recommend the calzone and the seafood risotto. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was greeted right away, and my take-away order was expedited. I didn’t really order anything very elaborate, yet the food was satisfactory and enjoyable. This seemed like a really fun place to dine in, and I would love to try some of the other options on the menu!

Popped in here late for dessert and a drink. We were made to feel welcome and settled the lovely bar area.

Mussels were soo good. The softest I’ve had, they were practically larger than the shell and portions for almost everything was so large.

Gluten free options of pasta and pizza. I had pollo pesto pizza gf and it was delicious. Good choice of gf puddings too. Staff attentive. As it's a small venue it gets very loud and I struggled to hear all our friends. I would definitely go back as we had a wonderful time overall.

I have been eating occasionally at Amores for many years, but it was probably about 5 years since my last visit. I had clearly forgotten just HOW GOOD the food is. The menu is great to enable you to construct the dish how you like, choosing your main component (i.e. meat) cooked in a way you like and then selecting appropriate sides, such as pasta, fries, veg etc to suit your mood. The options are all so very tempting! Service is quite speedy, with very helpful and friendly staff making you feel well looked after. The Tiramisu is divine... it was all exceptional but I will be having dirty dreams about that dessert.... If you haven't tried it yet, please do. It's well priced and you will leave feeling so very very happy.

Great food and amazing hospitality, especially on a birthday! The staff are all lovely and generous. The only thing that could be improved is the range of vegetarian and especially vegan options, as there’s not much choice for vegans

Nicey but pricey. Great service and food as you'd expect. It's popularity speaks for itself, so I recommend booking. Also does a good range of drinks. But, it is a little pricey. And, watch out for the automatic service charge added to the bill.

6 of us visited adores last week and the service and food was amazing. I've been a few times over the years this little gem never let's leave without feeling full and we'll looked after. Highly recommended

As an "out of towner" you rely on reviews hoping they're true and I can say that this place lives upto its good reviews. Staff are friendly, service was fab and the food was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this place to eat and if ever in the area again I will definitely visit. 10/10

Located in the heart of Beeston Town centre, there is parking on the roadside, which is free in the evenings and the weekends. The ambiance is good with friendly staff and good service. The menu offers a decent spread and the quality good. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.

Booked a table last minute and they were able to get us in. The table was not ready on arrival but we were happy to wait. We ordered drinks but did not turn up. Reminded three staff members before they arrived. Forgot our bottle of wine, told them we no longer wanted as we waited too long. The table wear was taken away then replaced again when we reminded the waiter that we hadn't had out starters yet. It was again taken away before our starters came but we didn't remind the waiter again. Food came and was good. Lots of rocket leaves, good flavours and portions were generous. The presentation of each dish was excellent. The decor here was good and also the atmosphere was just right. Great place to bring a partner, work colleagues or larger parties. A selection of breads was ordered but apon arrived, seemed to be just one type of plain oily bread with a an oil and balsamic dip. Would have beet great to have some different types, not sure if they had run out. The food was impressive, the service is what let the place down. The sides didn't turn up but still on the bill so had to ask for these to be removed when paying. They did so with no fuss but no apology. We enjoyed the food here but all waiters seem to be looking after all tables so don't know what's going on with any of them causing too many missed items and drinks. Much better organisation if each waiter had 4 tables each to look after so that people are properly looked after and nothing would be forgotten. We still enjoyed the visit but much better organisation is needed here.

Such a lovely independent Italian restaurant. My second visit tonight. We had a little wait for our prebooked table but that wasn’t a problem as we had a table in the bar area and could order a drink and peruse the menu. My boyfriend is vegetarian and lots of delicious sounding options for him. Good to know that you can order a smaller sized pasta dish for a starter. Service was so friendly and warm. A little slow at times but not a problem, just happy to see a place so heaving and lively on a Friday night. Saw several birthday cakes brought out. Clearly a popular place for family celebrations and quite rightly.

First time we went last night and instantly it felt 'right'. All staff that we passed on our way to the table greeted us. The servers were incredibly polite.We had steaks,they were cooked to absolute perfection. Just the whole atmosphere,food and surroundings were just perfect. Would highly,highly recommended to anyone. An excellent Italian restaurant

Food was ok but I think with a more simple menu they could elevate their dishes. I didnt like that you got salad served on a warm plate. There is still covid screens up, personally I find this unwelcoming but thats just my opinion. The whole set up reminded me of being on an all inclusive holiday and it was their Italian themed night. Service was quick and most of the staff were lovely, however when we came to pay our card was declining due to signal. The waiter slammed down the receipt in frustration and said it was my husbands card. When I offered to use a different card he refused. Eventually the transaction went through when they went somewhere with signal. We won't be rushing back.

Only thing missing was the Med. washing over our feet. Best Italian we've had....no doubt! Started with bruschetta, whitebait and the warm bread selection. Penne Pollo and Stroganoff for main. Liqueur coffee and cheesecake for dessert. The staff are friendly and the decor flows with Italian tradition. We won't just recommend you visit we promise you will be missing out if you don't! 5 stars all round. Thank you Amorès.

Genuinely the best Italian I've ever been to. We traveled from another county this evening after over three years since our last visit, and it's still as fantastic as ever. I'm so pleased to see they're still thriving post-lockdown.

I have been a consistent visitor since December and now take the time every month for at least one visit. Amazing service with the staff being friendly and fun. Also such a good place for any occasion and the food is some of the best Italian cuisine I've had. Definitely would recommend.
