Gorgeous food and a beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant. Portions are small so make sure you get starter or sides etc. would come again :)

Cracking meal, nice people, nice place

Our first visit here after recently moving to the area. A great selection of food, we had difficulty choosing 😊 We settled on ragu arancine and bruschetta pomoforo. Both excellent but filling. Next time we will share a starter. For mains i had Spiedini Di Pollo, absolutely delicious. I couldn’t eat it all and was kindly offered take home box, the skewers were excellent the next day. My husband had Pasta Con Ragu Di Salsiccisa, very tasty. No room for dessert for me but an affogato enjoyed by husband. We also enjoyed the house red wine. Really great atmosphere in the restaurant. Very friendly service. We will definitely be back and highly recommend you to try it too. 😊

Our second visit and will definitely be returning. Every plate is fresh, delicious and made with pride. Service is exceptional, they are very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be around. We were served by the son on our first visit, and Angela on our second, she took time to talk to us about the dessert wines available and how these would be enjoyed traditionally and even complimented our order with a wine of her very own not on the menu. It is rare to find food so delicious and service so genuine, it is literally like you are in their home being served from their own kitchen. We find it a little pricey for our budget but not for the quality you recieve so when we can afford it, we will be back!

Lovely Italian restaurant on Wollaton Road in Beeston. The food comes well presented and not too large portions - perfect for me. Main courses around £15 and desserts around £7.00. My bill for one person was around £30.00 including dessert and a drink. Well worth a visit.

Called this restaurant to see if they would be able to provide some catering for a meeting nearby. Angela was very responsive and they cooked delicious food for 14 people. Lasagne and Parmigiana was so tasty. They delivered the food too, perfectly on time and well packaged. Thank you so much!!

Stopped in here for coffee and a sweet treat with my daughter, and we found it to be such a warm and friendly place with a lovely welcoming vibe from the owner. I had an absolutely gorgeous slice of torta della nonna and my daughter really enjoyed her cannoli. I can highly recommend this as a place to visit for lunch, and I definitely want to come back for an evening meal as the menu looks great with plenty of vegetarian choices.

It’s unique from the moment you walk in to the last sip of coffee. Their dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients distinguishes them from the rest. A delightful discovery. So pleased we decided to try this cosy family run Sicilian restaurant. All the food was fantastic from the simple starters, the well cooked and flavoursome main dishes, to the final desserts. Really looking forward to going again.

Second visit to try even more delicious Sicilian food, in a lovely homely atmosphere. Ordered a selection of starters and mains to share together and to try lots of different things. Stand outs were the polpette (meatballs)- great quality meat and the most amazing rich tomato sauce, and the Burrata (cheese)- super soft and creamy and accompanied perfectly with tomatoes, honey & walnuts. House red wine is beautiful and the service was lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be back again to try even more of the main menu and they now do pizzas too!

A very homely, genuine, and delicious meal. Firstly the service was well timed and friendly. We were left for the perfect amount of time to decide what we wanted and the guy who served us was very friendly. We ordered a number of starters and mains to share between the two of us, and asked for it all to be brought out at the same time. Usually this never really happens but it really did all come out at once. We felt like we waited for the perfect amount of time, not too long, but also it didn't come out really really fast. The food was delicious, I could not fault it in any way. Every dish tasted genuine and was full of flavour. Overall, the perfect restaurant experience really. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes. Thanks.

Everything we had was fresh and delicious. Went with friends but will 100% be going back with my husband in the near future. We had arancini for starters and shared 3 different flavours, all great - personal favorite was the mushroom. I had a pasta dish for main, delicious. And we all had different cannolo for dessert. Again, all fantastic. Modern technology for splitting the bill which made it easier.

Took a day trip to beeston today with my partner and we had a lovely experience at Compa! It’s a family run restaurant and they were extremely welcoming and warm. The decor is gorgeous and truly transports you back to Sicily. We had their breakfast plates which have been a new addition to their menu- the tomato sauce in the pizza eggs was sweet and well spiced. The classic Italian bread was crusty and fresh. The brioche buns had a slight orange zest and the perfect dough-y consistency. We also tried their lunch starters of Aranicni and sausage ragu- the flavours were spot on and reminded us of the food we had eaten in Italy. Lastly, we finished off with desserts of the fresh ricotta Canoli and were gifted a gelato bowl. We chose strawberry gelato which was creamy and has small pieces of strawberry running through. The best bit was the gelato is vegan so well catered for diets et requirements. Speaking with the hosts, they cater for gluten free and halal too. Top quality ingredients are used and that reflects in the delicious dishes. An amazing and unique restaurant to the Nottingham food scene and we cannot wait to be back.

Such a lovely place! We visited for the first time last weekend and the food, service and atmosphere were just perfect. The service was excellent and the food was delicious - really traditional and flavoursome. They were great at advising on gluten free options too. We will definitely be back and are lucky to have this lovely place in our neighbourhood!

Authentic Sicilian fare like Nanna used to make. It was introduced to me as 'not cheap' but I didn't think the prices were unreasonable for the quality and quantity and I like to pay fair for local independent businesses. The canolo at £6.95 was the only thing that felt steep but it was the best canolo I've tasted in this country outside of London so fair enough. I've marked it down one for the tableware - because a) the fancy patterned plates were plastic, but I see they are going for a theme with the colours and patterns, and b) the shape of the table knives is a bit silly. But then, I wasn't eating the cutlery.

We enjoyed every dish and drink, the host is so friendly. Great atmosphere that we feel we were in Sicily. It is the place that we would like to visit many times.

Went to Compa for my Mother's birthday celebration this past Sunday. We were a party of 9 with 1 disabled member and are not very organised! Angela was fantastic from my initial online enquiry and she and the team were even better in person. Friendly, helpful, attentive, they could not do enough for us to make us feel welcome and special and the food was AMAZING. A real hidden gem - 11/10 - go here!

The restaurant was lovely and quaint. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything from the starters to the desserts were delicious! The pistachio gelato was to die for! Our server was very very nice coming and checking on us. Would highly recommend for dinner.

Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious. You almost wouldn’t feel like you are in Beeston! The family running the place were very friendly. The only downside was that it took 30 minutes from walking in to having drinks on the table.

The menu was clearly labelled with allergens and prices, which were reasonable We had a lovely time and will certainly plan to visit again in the future. If you’re craving authentic Sicilian cuisine, you’ll not be disappointed.

Quite pricey and the portions were small, but the food was delicious. I had the sausage with onions. My wife had the parmigiana with aubergine. The Sicilian white wine was very good, as was the Peroni beer.

Compa is a hidden gem, have been a few times now and the food is always fresh and delicious with top friendly service.

Unexpected surprise. Lovely atmosphere, great tasting food and very personable service, like being one of the family. So good we immediately booked to go again.

Had THE most sumptuous homemade lasagne from here delivered to my home address, the flavours were totally sublime. Plus some bread with extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar sachets, also along with lemon tiramisu for pudding. Everything was delivered by deliveroo quickly , still hot, and it was delicious , magnificent food.... If I get the chance to visit "Compa" will have to have a "Latte" and a "Cantucci" Or maybe a "Cannolo" which are legendary in Cucina Siciliana....!👌👌👌 Bravissima!!🥰🥰🥰. I would highly recommend their food. Authentic Italian food at it's very best.

Amazing Sicilian restaurant - I'm no expert but the food felt really authentic and was absolutely delicious. Bright and airy decor made a cheerful atmosphere though it was pretty quiet on a Saturday lunchtime.

Splendid Sicilian street food place in central Beeston. As an Italian I highly recommend this restaurant for its authenticity, the kindness of the staff and great vibe. They also have Birra Messina with salt crystals which is hard to find in Italy too... Grazie!
