Really good service very nice food really good staff

We visited on a Wednesday during half term, but I'm afraid Poplar Farm Restaurant didn't live up to the reviews and rating it has. Main Menu states Tuesday - Friday, but we were greeted with the grill menu only, which was tough given my wife is Vegetarian. She had one option to choose from. Other customers were sat eating from the main menu. Fajitas were good, but, unfortunately, that was the only plus. It felt like they only had one chef and one waitress on. Service was poor, no attention, no rapport.

Travel from Ireland a couple of times a year and this is my only place I buy coffee. I'm a bit of a coffee snob but they meet all my expectations. Life savers

Loved our visit staff so friendly made us feel welcome the first time we went in. Customers very friendly and helpful as well. Not doing Sunday carvery till March. Will definitely be going back.

We’ve been twice in the past 2 to 3 weeks, first time for early evening bite to eat and again today for Sunday lunch. Outstanding food and service at reasonable price

I have visited the Eatery on many occasions with friends and family. Brunch is always exceptional in terms of the delicious food served piping hot in generous quantities. The super friendly staff are also a joy. Overall very good value. I look forward to returning again soon.

“Two teas and a pot of hot water please” (not to make it go further, just my wife likes very weak tea). The assistant replied “that’ll be £7.10”!!! I politely responded saying “I am not paying £7.10 for two teas” and walked away. I also noticed that a toasted teacake was £4!! Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Watch if you have spirit's with mixes,they say they put spirit in but just give you the mixer,then charge for both

Decent nice lady let us go to the co-op to get food we came back and paid very nice sausage roll was a 4/10 hot chocolate 7/10 so nice for the morning

For staple food, I ordered noodles with soy sauce, casserole with tomato and beef rice noodles, casserole with chicken rice noodles, braised beef noodles, beef jerky noodles, and stir-fried chicken noodles. All kinds of noodles are very good and have a good texture. They are more like the taste of northern restaurants. The side dishes are very spicy and have a unique taste
