The best restaurants in East Midlands

Food was good at what turned out to be an excellent price but, when we booked to meet up with family we’ve not seen since January, we envisaged a lovely long catch up over Dinner. However the pub apparently do a two for the price of one food deal on a Monday evening and seemed to want folks in and out as quickly as possible to free up tables! Having chosen sharing board starters, they didn’t do those on Mondays and then they wouldn’t do coffees at all - so quite bizarrely, we ended up driving to the next village for coffees and further drinks in the pub there!! Food however was good and the bill was a nice surprise as we had no idea it was two for one and even when the waitress said they didn’t do sharing boards on a Monday, she hadn’t explained why! It just wasn’t really the evening we were looking for!

Asked for delivery. Garlic naan got delivered super cold, thick and doughy, and hard. Also didn't taste good. Chicken tikka masala was too mild, almost tasted like butter chicken. Paneer butter masala was good.

This restaurant has always been my favourite place to go for Indian meal. The food is delicious and reminds me of Delhi. Friendly service and decent prices.

this place was one of the best cafes in loughbough staff are very polite nothing is to much trouble unfortintly the place has shut down dew to the powers to be are selling the crillion court and building student flats very sad really

Great value for money ,really nice bacon sausage egg cob for breakfast , clean place aswell.

Attended on a Saturday night, was lovely and busy which was good to see, glad we had booked. Service is always spot on, they work so hard! Slight delay on the drinks, however there were no free tables so to be expected. Food was delicious, had the curry, burger was made gluten free, steak looked good and the lamb shank was delicious. Would love to see a mixed grill special soon please! See you soon

Amazing Chinese Takeaway. Special fried rice amazing. Curry sauce is fantastic. The home made chilli sauce is spicy but brilliant. 💯 reccomend.

Amazing little village but loads of choice. Super friendly staff. Order ahead or cooked fresh while you wait. My personal fave is a halloumi salad pitta

Food here is really good,but twice now when we've been in, someone has ordered a roast dinner around 1.15 pm,and both times the chef has clearly been heard saying FFS ,I've just put stuff away,not professional at all,it's a shame,as the food is good
