Best Taste Chinese takeaway in Nottingham

Thank you so much for the lovely food. Everything was so beautiful and so tasty. As always its fresh. I must say I have had food from all over Nottingham. And must say this is definitely the best Chinese food iv ever had. Thank you very much.

Ordered from here for the first time. Unfortunately, it's not as good as I had hoped. Ribs were good, but everything else was poor. Chips were awful, and prawns in the thai curry were soggy. Sorry, but not to my liking.

I am vegetarian. I asked for Mixed Vegetable Chow Mein. The website says it is "vegetarian", but when I got it, I got so much more meat than vegetables and noodles. Still tastes nice but I've been had. At least service was quick and easy.

Food cooked fresh, authentic, tastes amazing, fast, great value. The two in one make it much more affordable. Don’t live in the area but found the take away by chance and won’t go anywhere else now!

OK .... Where to start .... I ordered from here like I normally do, however! Just brace youselves; Best Taste ''USED'' to be my number one place of Chinese food up until my very last order: When I rung them, I ordered my food, no problem there... They specifically told me on the phone ''give us 45m/1hr'' I was OK with that because usually they're here within the time they state.. Anyway, 45 minutes passed, no delivery yet... No problem there as they did mention 45m/1hr, so I gave it the whole hour... The hour passed, still nothing, rung them up and I just couldn't get through (they knew it was me and they didn't have an answer to why it was delayed so they left the phone ringing, and ringing, and ringing....) Anyway, I tried again and again, still nothing! At this point I was starving hungry and no one to explain to me why my food hasn't yet arrived... So I gave it another 10-15mins MAX! Still NOTHING... I eventually got through 20 minutes later and I was determined to cancel the order because they was taking too long... So the guy on the phone (when they eventually answered) greeted me fine and I emphasized I wanted to cancel the order, so he passed the phone to the lady owner and she said ''we're just waiting for the driver to return from a previous order but your order is ready to be collected'', I simply said I want to cancel the order, she was adamant and kind of domineering me to wait 'til their driver came back, I said ''it isn't good enough, it's been well passed the hour and it still isn't on the way??!?! JOKERS!!! So she rudely hung up the phone, no apology, no nothing, she is very very rude and I got a feeling it's just me she's rude towards. Best Taste are handling their orders wrong, they prioritize the high paid orders and leave the smaller orders 'til the bigger orders are delivered.... Sorry but no!!!! I want my order hot and tasty and within the delivery time they specify.... Watch out when you order and speak to the Chinese lady who owns the place, because if they gets it wrong, she blames you... This isn't the first time I've had ''run-ins'' with her. Good luck!

Bland, tasteless. Ordered the salt and pepper 1 munchie box was not good. Was surprised because it was nice last time is there a change of chef or food supply?

We have been using this place for 4 years now and its allways been the best food,service,delivery around...But the last 3 times the food has not been as good in taste or the portion sizes..please do not let your selves down.

I've been purchasing food from here for a few year's now but, following my last two meals the standard of the food has dropped too zero! Whether this is down to buying cheaper inferior produce or a change of staff, but what was beautiful food every time it is now disgusting, I've gone from a regular beef eater to tonight's chicken, bamboo shuts and water chestnuts which my dog turned his nose up at. My advice is to use another takeaway as the food is lousy.

Moved to the area about 3 months ago and can finally say we have found our new go to Chinese. Absolutely delicious, generous and very reasonably priced dishes. Lurve the ickle extra treats too! Delivery guy is lovely, albeit a bit cheeky with it lol. Definitely be returning 😋

BBQ Spare ribs were horrible they were in a gloppy sweet light coloured slop no BBQ taste at all. The duck Chowmein was soaked in oil yet the meat was dry and old precooked. It contained hardly any bean sprouts and a mix of dry duck and chicken, I actually found the pointed bone from a chicken leg in my food. It went in the dustbin inedible.

We ordered food at 6pm to be delivered for 8pm and paid for iti up front, we live up the road from the takeaway. We waited half an hour for out food to be delivered. We called them twice and was offered no real reason as to what was happening other than they had gone to the wrong place which we couldn't understand as we were the only customers in the takeaway ordering at the time. My partner went to the shop in the end to get a refund and they tried to give him the food we had ordered that had been sat there for all that time that was lukewarm. They then offered thet food free that was lukewarm after finally giving him a refund with no proper sorry & it came across like it was our fault they got it wrong. Customer service was rubbish and came across rude.

Well where do I start I've lived in Bulwell for yonks n didn't notice this little gem, so I ordered not knowing to expect low n behold lovely hot food with some great tastes, n big portions of food defo a recommend! Guess what got some freebies aswell👌🏻 fingers crossed I get some chopsticks next time
