The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in East Midlands

Have been several times always warm welcome and great food. Went today, Sunday for lunch, lovely as always but disappointed that the roast on offer was only chicken or the gammon. The gammon was an option but was on the menu with egg and chips. Having had several ham salads this week in the warm weather, I was looking forward to beef, lamb or pork as my roast. Chicken is the cheap option and therefore made it not quite as special. We eat lots of chicken through the week. For two it’s sometimes not worth cooking a roast. For £16 for the main course I would have expected a better choice, certainly based on my previous visits. The chicken was tasty and good quantity, however just not the same as a nice roasted joint. If returning, would certainly ask ahead what was on the menu if going again for Sunday lunch.

Absolutely delicious!!! Great value. Probably the best falafel I've ever had. Would definitely come back.

Counter and kitchen were very clean, tidy and well presented. Probably the nicest Leon I've been to. Staff were polite, friendly and prepared my order quickly.

Terrible food. Cake was stale, I couldn't eat it. Staff did not speak Portuguese. I was very disappointed with the experience.

Amazing venue to have a rest after shopping, Francesca prepared a delicious salted caramel cappuccino and a tasty espresso for us. Definitely best coffe in town. Absolutely recommend

The name is NOT ottoman kitchen, no bar tender, dishes came without the correct accompaniments, £17 for about 3 handfuls of salad with 5 lumps of feta and no dressing posing as "greek salad". However the staff were nice, the Sigara borega (feta cheese in filo pastry) was delicious.

Nice welcoming, only had a Portuguese latte but the staff were very friendly.
