Can honestly say this was one of, if not the best pub lunch we have had. Food, was excellent, well presented hot and plentiful.

Disappointing , expensive evening meal. Prawn cocktail sauce tasteless . Main , beef cobblar, served in a small bowl , tasty but thick gravy made whole meal dry. Frozen roast potatoes, dry over cooked parsnip. My friend had turkey dinner, dry hard to cut . No.pigs in blanket, frozen roast potatoes. Small.amount of veg. Dessert small triangle of sticky toffee pudding with watery custard already in the bowl. Overpriced , an expensive meal. Not good will not go there again. Plus £3.60 for a lime and soda, ridiculous. Waste of £75

This was a Christmas lunch for 8 people. Food had been preordered for a set Xmas choosable menu previously. The venue is very nice and the service good, but, 3 of the mains very cold and others were luke warm. Two pots of tea were also luke warm. When mentioning the cold meals to waitress, she said "I will tell the chef" while walking away. It is a shame, because it could have been good, but it wasn't. We didn't leave a tip, becausewe were disappointed.

On both occasions over the last week, our meals have been very enjoyable. Both for lunchtime and evening meals. Good quality and well worth the money, with friendly attentive staff and a nice atmosphere.

Actually a lot better than just alright. Very good food indeed and pleasant service in relaxing suroundings. Varied menu, something for all tastes I should think and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. This won't be the "last" time we shall be visiting. (Sorry for the puns!)

We had our post wedding celebration at The Olde Cobbler today. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the food was amazing. A big thank you to Tom and the Team for making our day so special.

Been here a number of times before and was looking forward to dinner. Something has changed here. And it's the kitchen that has suffered. Cold salsa with tepid fish on top and and ice-cold lump of butter placed on top. Result? Cold fish. Or a fillet of lamb served on a dull bed of leaves with a a few small squares of goats cheese and few tiny black olives. No dressing. Lamb served cold and taken away to heat up. This made it dry and tasteless. Any bread served with the courses looked toasted with grill marks etc, but was either cold or hard. Such a simple thing to get right. 2 bottles of water, 2 starters and 2 mains = £56.75. Simply now not worth the money.

Lovely cafe with the best food and sweetest staff, my favourite place to come with my kids on the wellingborough road. I have been here 4 times since moving to this part of northampton, each time with my young children and we were always well looked after.

Have eaten here many times and it remains one of my favourite restaurants in Northampton. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Love the range and quality of food. Their onion bhaji scotch egg is a stand-out dish!

Excellent food especially the Nut Roast … as vegetarian it’s very difficult to find nice veggie options, and the Nut Roast excelled my expectations.
