this place was one of the best cafes in loughbough staff are very polite nothing is to much trouble unfortintly the place has shut down dew to the powers to be are selling the crillion court and building student flats very sad really

We stopped for lunch at this cafe for the first time in December 2022, loved the vibe, the staff and the food especially! It has a great Italian atmosphere and the staff are so friendly, will definitely go again when we are in Loughborough.

Popped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning, the decor is so dated it looks unclean and the level of noise (from the awful music and staff) was pretty bad. If I hadn't of already ordered food I would've gone elsewhere. One of the young waiters stood near the bin and blew his nose and didn't wash his hands afterwards. Breakfast was disappointing.

I really love the atmosphere in here and the staff are outstanding, helpful in finding a table available and quick to take orders. The food was good, hot chocolate good. The only thing I would say I was unhappy with was the cleanliness of the plates and cutlery, however I do appreciate it was a very busy weekend morning rush.

I have been going there for years for a coffee with friends, but this morning I took my daughter and grandson. He was spoilt rotten by the staff, even the younger members of staff join in, which is very rare these days. They are very good with children. Drinks and food good, tables cleaned regularly. Staff super friendly. What’s not to like, they have a lot of regular’s, so speaks for itself.

I ordered a cheese and onion panini, and thats literally all i got. Actually, it was more like a ciabatta than a panini, it was pretty small, and didn't come with any side salad or crisps or anything. it looked so sad. Also, there were people smoking near me in the garden, which i thought shouldn't be allowed because its an eating area, but when i asked the staff they were quite defensive and abrupt. all in all wont be going here again.

I felt totally humiliated by the manager on my visit. When I went up to pay he told me that they don't take card payments for less than a fiver. I didn't realise that was a thing anymore. He certainly came across as being angry with me when he said he'd make an exception and took the payment. While I was paying with my card, he started to scold me for coming in and occupying a table for 6 with only 3 and for only ordering 2 coffees on a Saturday during his busiest time. On my arrival at Cinos I wasn't asked what I was intending to order and I certainly didn't choose the table, I was shown to it by one of his staff members. I felt humiliated as I was spoken to so rudely in front of my children and the whole cafe. Shan't be going back.

Must Of Got The Manager On A Bad Day But He Was Really Rude To Me In Front Of Staff And Other Customers. I left feeling really shaken up. he's clearly got a short fuse. I've never been back plenty of lovely cafes in Loughborough so not bothered.

Visited this cafe with my son who has food allergies. The staff went above and beyond to check their ingredients and even their food sources to guarantee it was safe for my son. This made our experience so much more enjoyable as unfortunately this sort of customer service is rare. We ordered a sausage sandwich and poached egss on toast, which arrived promptly, were generously portioned and piping hot. The coffee was good and the atmosphere very friendly and happy. The menu is very reasonably priced and the staff very polite and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

Lunchtime visit after reading very good reviews. Sunny day and was busy but not without a table or two to chose from. The first thing I noticed was the dull, just rinsed teapot which would have looked better had it come out of a hot dishwasher.We turned the saucers over and one was chipped and one was not washed at all with I suspect dunked ginger biscuit over quite a bit of it. All teacups and saucers felt gritty as you would get from a dishwasher that lacks salt/ rinse aid.Service was cheerful, generous (offering more, extra, with no charge) and prices here are everyday affordable but handing back the dirty crockery as we received it, clean ones were brought but no appology at all, just a "there you are" as they were placed on the table. I think that an "Oh dear, somethings gone wrong there, I am sorry" or something similar, is what I expected.All food and drinks were hot, tasty and very good.Often use another cafe in the town centre and rarely find anything less than satisfactory.So will probably give Cino`s another try soon.

Absolutly great, brilliant, genuine friendly service. Food was great value for money, highly recomend. Staff were amazing.

Lovely service, the waiters go the extra mile, me and my friend went up to ask what cakes they did and they brought them all to our table to display. When we asked for just tap water they gave us ice, when we asked for garlic bread they also gave us plain bread. It was these little things that made it such a lovely experience for so cheap.

This is a superb place for a breakfast, coffee, or lunch. It has the best coffee of anywhere. As a very fussy coffee lover this is excellent recommend drinking it black as it has an excellent flavour, without being bitter, it's the perfect cup. Very clean. Great panini, scones, and breakfast. Staff are the best part of this place. Excellent prices and great food. Such a friendly, laid back atmosphere making you really welcomed and comfortable. Went for the English breakfast without tomatoes and mushrooms so they replaced them with an extra sausage. They don't take card so make sure you have cash.

I visit this place a few times a month with friends. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch or just for a coffee, I cannot fault their friendly customer service.The food is delicious and excellent value for money.

This little place has been in Loughborough many years now. The staff remember all the locals, they greet then with a smile and friendly banter. They offer a vast variety of food and the home made lasagne is delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone who visits Loughborough.

Popped up the stairs and shazam I found Cino. Similarly this didn't from Luton like the drink's advert (Cinzo) Ordered the pesto pasta dish. Really nice and sat outside on the roof terrace. Could not fault the staff who cleared the tables very quickly. The man with big personality even gave me a sausage. Will defo go back. :) :)

We haven't been to this cafe for a long time but for a change we went this morning for coffee and was tempted by the scones too. Extremely friendly staff and atmosphere. We were asked if we wanted the Americano coffee stronger which I did. The prices for the meals looked competitive and I can definitely recommend the scones!

Me and my partner recently moved Loughborough so we’re trying everywhere out and I was impressed with this place. Nice friendly welcome from the bloke behind the counter “Quality Banter” decent prices £10.40 for 2x breakfast and 2x coffees. Was happy to pay that and the coffee was fantastically made from a proper coffee machine ( would of been better if it was bigger but that’s just me being greedy) food decent and well cooked. Would prefer the mushrooms freshly fried rather than what I believe was from a tin (still ate them though) Slimming world options would go down a treat for some people, also I enjoyed the 60s and 70s music being played quietly in the background. All in all for what it is 4 out of 5 for me.

My husband and I absolutely love this place for breakfast. As you go in welcomed as if you are a friend right from the offset. We have been going for a while and we are just that. Order at the counter and drinks are done straight away. When the breakfast arrives always piping hot and freshly cooked. Great service love the food.

This is the first place I've been to in a very long time with an excellent atmosphere. The staff really made the place. Everyone was so friendly and polite, it was lovely to hear the staff having conversations with the elderly customers and making time for them. We had the full English breakfast which was beautiful.

Such a great vibe in this cafe created by the main man and his team! Lots of young staff but perfectly trained and 100% on it! Food is great value and cakes are excellent. Breakfast is £3.50 which was delicious. Coffee tends to the weaker side if like it strong but otherwise a great, friendly town centre cafe.

Cheap and cheerful cafe. Owner is always cheery and interacting with his customers. Good good and plentiful but the breakfast last time was rather greasy.

Two of us enjoyed a decent breakfast, a drink and free biscuits for just a tenner! What a hidden gem. I've lived here most of my life and never knew it existed. The place was packed even on mid-morning on a Tuesday!

The first things you notice at Cino are the value for money prices, then shouting. And then more shouting. Not a great place for a quiet cooked breakfast, really, nor for a hot breakfast, Everything on our plates was cold. We told the waiter and they said sorry. On the second and last visit we told the waiter our breakfasts were cold, and then we gave up.

The lady at the nail bar suggested i go there for breakfast. I was not disappointed. It was brilliant. I had the large breakfast, cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Always a friendly welcome. Perfect for families. The staff can't do enough for you. The cakes are amazing and the extra touches (toy box for kiddies, biscuits with hot drinks presentation) just make it perfect. Nothing is too expensive.

Came for lunch with a friend on the Thursday and had the Lasagna on by Friday I was bringing up the lasagna so something had either gone wrong in storing it or someone not washed there hands so I’m not impressed and won’t be eating again

A bit off the beaten path, the very welcoming and friendly staff (especially Michael) make more than up for the rather simple venue. We found the food to reflect excellent price value during our visits for lunch and breakfast.

We visit this family run cafe nearly everyday . They people are so friendly and they can’t do enough for you . They will get members of staff to carry food to the tables for you . They give nice touches like free biscuits , crisps , or sweets to the kids . They do a good sized menu you can get a breakfast until they close there doors. Whereas most places finish serving breakfast at 12 pm . Sandwiches , Paninis , salads , pastas , platters , tea , coffees , pop , juices, hot chocolate , cakes , scones , tea cakes . There is a mixed age range in here so it suits everyone,market days can get very busy . Toilet facilities and toys are provided to occupy the kids while you enjoy your coffee and food . It’s always freshly made and nice and hot . I would recommend this busy cafe at the top of the stairs in carillon court shopping centre . Lovely guys , staff and family run excellent

This is a great cafe up the stairs in the shopping arcade in Loughborough. There's a lift too, but when we were there it was out of order. There's a surprising amount of seating in the cafe and there were a lot of staff on when we went on a Saturday. The staff are very efficient and the time it takes for stuff to come out of the kitchen is surprisingly quick.

Will recommend and been here lots of times. Well run and very good service polite staff and helpfull as allways.

Been here often sonetimes just for a coffee and sometimes had breakfast. No matter how busy they are you are always greeted with a vety friendly welcome and always thanked on leaving. Such a friendly family and nothing is too much trouble for them. Very clean and good value for money. Would highly recommend. I work close by and if i wanted anything like a panini for example they would happily deliver it to my workplace which is wonderfully kind of them. Go on give them a try if youve not been. There is a lift if you cant manage the stairs. Support our locals

If you need cheering up this is the place to go. They greet you like long lost friends. Service with a smile doesn’t go far enough. Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs on toast, superb.

Great little place, I have been multiple times. Tasty food and all the staff are really friendly. The only downside is I have often tried to go to find it closed! :(

I wish to thank the staff at Cino for all their help when my partner had an unexpected turn for the worse whilst in their cafe. A very kind assistant waited with us until the relevant services turn up. Thanks again for your help. By the way the coffee was excellent.

I love this place, been coming here for years. The 2 brothers that run it are always so happy and willing to help. Any issues (which rarely occur) are instantly corrected. Everything is fairly priced and quality. Good portions. The place is fairly spacious too. I can get a pushchair all around the floorspace and park it without obstructing the walkways. Would recommend this to anyone.

The owners really make this place, they are so welcoming and hospitable that you can't help but want to return. Food is homecooked and the portions are generous.

Been here quite a few times for lunch, the owners are so friendly! It can get quite busy and we often have two pushchairs so it can be hard for us to get a table but they always try and fit us in. Fantastic food, really tasty and great value and all food is available in children's portions. They always give a few sweets for the kids too which is a lovely touch.

Been coming here for the last 2 years after stumbling across it by accident. It is just the best little coffee shop that serves fabulous food. The staff are lovely but it's the owners who are brilliant. Super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. On a Saturday we struggle to get a table inside or out as it's that popular. Un buen lugar. Estan muy bueno con los niños. Patatas fritas, galletas de piedra en n batidos están cubiertas con tantas cosas. Muy bien dirigido. Así organizado. Nunca tuvimos que esperar más de unos pocos minutos. Teníamos 2 tostados, un sándwich para un niño de 2 años. 2 batidos, un café casero scones de n2 enorme con helado mermelada n. Todo por 15 libras. Además, patatas fritas, galletas. n polos. Incluso hay una caja de juguetes. No me sorprende que sea tan ocupado. Sigan con el buen trabajo.

Food is really nice, especially the carbonara. Great value. Service is very quick. It can get busy so would suggest visiting a bit earlier or later than the usual lunch hours.

I always receive a friendly welcome and extremely good service. Generous finishing touches are provided in the way of extra biscuits on your saucer, and every effort is made to provide snacks to suit your individual taste. Whenever I visit Loughborough I like to pay Cino's a visit.

Popped in for a coffee today with my preschooler. A sincere warm welcome. Superb Italian style capuccino, appropriate size and remarkably good value. A "baby Cino" plus extras for my companion. Attentive, welcoming service. Friendly atmosphere. This will now be a regular cafe. I look forward to trying their menu.

I called in for lunch and received a very warm welcome. Had a lovely panini and cup of tea at a very reasonable price. All the staff were very friendly.

I had lunch here during a shopping trip and was charmed by the place, the staff and the food! I had a bowl of pasta for only £4.90 and it came with fresh bread and cheesy ciabatta bread on the side. The flavour was great and it tasted really fresh too. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

This is a very popular cafe and is always full. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Always a free biscuit with your tea and a free packet of crisps with your sandwich.

We eat regularly at cinos and always leave happy, the service is personal, friendly and warm, the range of food spans from breakfasts to platters, sandwiches, paninis, pizzas and pasta dishes, hot drinks from a quality fresh coffee machine and a range of cans, the family that run it are very friendly and attentive and make you want to return

Recently found this place after living in the area for years, I love it. It's beautiful, the staff are SO friendly, the prices are great, the food is great. This place doesn't get enough credit!

My mum and I ventured up here to see what it was all about as it is in the middle of the Carillion shopping centre in Loughborough. We only stayed for a coffee as they food options didn't look particularly appetising for a hot day but it seems like a snug place to hide and study so I may visit again soon!!

Had breakfast at Cino today (Thursday 28th July) and it was super value for money, 2 breakfasts, a tea and a cappuccino for under £10. The service was fast and efficient, won't be my last visit.

i can see why this cafe is so busy, fantastic breakfast we called in on a recent visit to loughborough. after weaving my wife through the tables in her wheelchair ( there is a lift to get to the 1st floor) we had one of the best breakfasts in ages. the staff were really helpful & eager. they even bought out a birthday cake singing happy birthday to a lady. would recommend this cafe you wont be disappointed

This place is cheap and cheerful. They cater for the older people in town and the families with kids. With toys and books to keep the kids occupied. You can have tap water without them making you feel like a cheapskate unlike many other places. Food is good quality portion sizes are appropriate. I wish they did a kids menu offer eg: Pasta/Roll/Wrap + drink and side of either veg or chips for £4 or £5. I wish they did jacket potatoes too!

I visit Cino's fairly often as it is cheap and cheerful:-) it is in the town centre, so it is convenient! The staff are always very cheerful and friendly.

We go here everytime we visit Loughborough and really enjoy their paninis.It's a tiny cafe so it can sometimes be difficult to find a seat but it's friendly, homely, and although the food is simple it's great quality and reasonably priced.Their coffee is great too.

I would recommend Cino's, really busy place and really good value. I had a Bacon Panini and a pot of tea which came to £4.00, our tray was carried to our table by a young man which is their normal practice which is really nice.

Myself and family visited here for a break from shopping. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff and excellent food. Their milkshakes are especially good. Excellent outdoors space sitting alongside the old chumming clock, very charming. Would definitely recommend.

This italian cafe right in the centre of the carillon centre is a great meeting place. The decor may be a little tired but the staff are friendly and the food and service always excellent. They are not fussy and always willing to please. Good value specials and lovely scones.

Why have I never been here before?! Absolute gem! Gorgeous deserts, fresh coffee and truly wonderful staff. Will have to try their delicious looking lunch next time! Fantastic job all

My wife had a cheese omelette and I had a small ham and cheese pizza. The salads and dressings were good and I had some bread with it to dip up.Some people are put off by the steps leading up to the cafe/restaurant but a lift is just to the side of the steps

We took our grand daughter for lunch and very impressed by the attentive service. The gentleman gave Ellie an amazing hot chocolate with lots of different toppings and our Panini's were lovely, he even popped a free bag of crisps on the tray for our grand daughter. Will definitely be visiting here again.

I've been going here for years and love the place. You get such a warm welcome, the food is great, and amazing coffee, all very reasonable too. Once I had my daughter I discovered it's really good for kids as well. I don't go anywhere else now!

My friend and I visit this cafe often it's a lovely feel to the place the staff are really friendly. They do excellent lattes at a very reasonable price. The food is always fresh nicely presented with little extras at no charge . They give you biscuits with drinks which is a nice touch and no extra charge is even better . We can spend two hours or more in there and they are so accommodating . Always busy on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a lift makes it easily accessible for mothers and disabled . Give it a go

If you visit loughborough you must go to cino's.....suitable for every age,super friendly welcome,lovely home cooked food,great coffee all at affordable prices...just wished they did more vegetarian dishes.

Used to go here many years ago and hasnt changed much, in a good way. nicely run cafe with very friendly staff. service is quick and food is good. the homemade cakes are a little dry and was surprised to see you still have to que up and order by the till whilst looking at the menu on the back wall.

What an amazing place. I'd had a couple of recommendations from friends and it didn't diappoint. I was made to feel really welcome and appreciated right away by the friendly staff. A latte, carrot cake and children's milkshake, all complete with squirty cream, marshmallows, choc sticks etc came to just £5 and a member of staff offered to take my tray to the table which was a lovely touch. There are a selection of toys for children to play with too. Highly recommended.

A wonderful,family run place to go for proper, fresh cooked food at excellent prices. Great coffee, cakes and you get free biscuits too! the staff are exceptional too. Could teach those big coffee chains a thing or two! I always go there when I am in town. You cannot beat it

This was my second visit to Cino's. They first time was for a meal, this occasion was for a coffee and some cake. Both times I was really impressed with the speed of service, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, the quality of the food and drink and the price! They gave my toddler biscuits free of charge too :-)

This is a very popular resturant in loughborough ,in the middle of the precinct up stairs or there's a lift.The decor isnt the best ,but the food is.It's always packed,the staff are brilliant and always friendly and helpful,nothing is a bother,after about two or three times it's as if theyv'e known you for ages,highly recomend a visit.

Went in @ the suggestion of friends & quite a find. A super fried breakfast with toast and a big latte for £4.70 a real treat and one we'll be repeating. Piping hot & cooked well not beeen hanging around as it some places. Seems very popular and rightly so. You order at the counter & pay they serve you your drinks and give you a marker for your table so the staff know what you've ordered. The menu looks vast and if the rest is as good as the breakfast then they should keep most folks happy. Nothing flashy just good food at a good price with a smile.Staff very friendly and obviously know their regulars well. Up the steps in the shopping centre

Used to visit Cinos when I lived here 6 years ago. Back visiting and popped in for coffee and a panini. Very reasonable prices and latte was lovely. The tuna cheese melt was absolutely beautiful. Staff very friendly and make you feel so so welcome. Wonderful place and so so nice to visit again. Would recommend pass by Costa and Nero and go here !!!

The only place in Loughborough where you can eat great food for cheap ! Also the service is very quick and the staff really nice!

Been to this restaurant several times at the Carillion court in Loughborough. A really nice friendly place. The meals are excellent with lots of choices and very reasonable prices. Always cheerful people and nothing is too much trouble . My granddaughters favourite café (her words and she is only 2 1/2yrs old). Children are very welcome here and in the summer there is a very nice outside area that you can sit in. Very popular restaurant.

Cino is certainly one of my favourite cafes in Loughborough. The staff are all so talkative and make you feel welcome with their jokes, compliments and gentle teasing. It's always a pleasure to be at Cino and the quality of their food is just outstanding. Can't even get enough of their mozzarella and parma paninis! A really lovely touch is the plate of complimentary sweets and biscuits they give you - not generally something you get in most places nowadays. It's the little things they do that keep me and so many others coming back! A truly lovely place to go for a bite to eat.

Tried this place, in a bit of a hurry. Coffee was great, snack was great, staff were friendly and personable. Really good, and will be back to try it at a more considered pace in the near future.

This cafe has such a lovely atmosphere and has great service. The food is excellent quality and very reasonably priced- I have had breakfast and lunch here and both meals were wonderful; I would recommend this cafe to anyone who likes great value in a friendly setting.

Its like coming home! And the food is exceptional, can recommend all the platters, and dont forget to try a lush cake afterwards!
