Food is good, portions are very small compared to other restaurants in the area. The guys are nice but the girl is a bit rude. They also add service charge without even asking you. Should be optional!

Always Great to return to the Pub, moved away some time ago however on visits back to Harlow, we will always spend an evening here. Real Pub with proper people. Be aware though Bills “Dad” jokes are from Christmas crackers 😂
Popped in for a quick pint following the end of year celebration at the local secondary school, very pleasant gentleman serving behind the bar, good selection of beers, and a lovely pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord on pull,
£10.40 for two pints and a large coke, would happily return
I visited last week. The shop had good reviews and was fairly close to where I was staying. I bought haddock and chips. The main problem was a soggy, greasy batter. This had soaked through to the meat of the fish so it no longer retained its beautiful whiteness. The chips were mostly small and hard.
One of the worst fish suppers I've ever had. I'm from the North East of Scotland and am used to excellently cooked fish and chips.
Amazing coffee and they will happily make drinks not on the menu (partner always gets a cortado). A perfect range of delicious snacks. It is the only place in Leicester we go for coffee as all coffee roasted on site and they often change the variety of the house espresso beans so you get to try the different beans you can buy there as well. Super high quality. The new downstairs area is nice and cool on hot days.
My then girlfriend and I first ate at Chada when we were students in 1986. We didn't have much money, so we would share a starter and sometimes a main, and restrict ourselves to one beer each. Even so, the owners were unfailingly kind and welcoming, and the food was always fantastic. Fast forward to 2002 and as a now married couple, we revisited Chada to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. It had been a few years, but the restaurant was as good as ever. Shortly after we moved to Wales, but in November 2022 we visited once again to celebrate my sister in law's 70th. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the owners were so gracious. With our grown up son now living in London, we hope to resume visiting Chada on a regular basis.
Great service, the food was top notch I can highly recommend the bacon Brie and chilli jam toasted sandwich on the salt and pepper Vienna. I would have taken a photo but it’s too late I’ve eaten it.
7 keen workers needed a treat so we booked a table for lunch and had the most wonderful, seriously wonderful Pizza's. Everyone was saying it was one of the best pizza's we have ever had. Ice cream and pimms all super.
Thanks Team Lusso!
