طبعا هذا مطعم ممتاز من ناحية الأكل ومن ناحية الأسعار جدا جدا جميل بدون اَي مبالغة افضل من مطاعم لي شارع العرب بمراحل وانصح الجميع بتجربة والله الموفق. وشاهي عندهم غير.

Estaba allí el jueves por la noche alrededor de las 6 pm. No estaba lleno, pero estaba más ocupado cuando estaba sentado y comiendo allí. El servicio es excelente, uno que me mostró la mesa y otro que tomó mi pedido y otras personas vinieron con la comida. Ordené a Maqlubi, un poco difícil de decidir ya que todo sonaba tan bien y tan bien que mi madre normalmente cocina (eso toma varias horas para cocinar). No tardé mucho tiempo en conseguir la comida, y primero tuve un lincesoup y una gran paz de pan que no había pedido pero que estaba incluido. Luego vino la principal, y es grandes porciones. El hombre que tomó mi pedido dijo que era para 2 personas y realmente lo era. La comida sabía muy bien, no podía comerla toda, así que tuve que llevar el resto conmigo. Me prepararon una caja para llevar, eso no fue problema. El servicio fue excelente, limpio y sin ruido. También me sirvieron un vaso de té que disfruté mucho. Gracias y espero volver pronto, entonces iré por la dolma.

No es un restaurante elegante y su menú es un poco confuso PERO que la comida es abundante, deliciosa y saludable. Fui con varios amigos por accidente y no nos arrepentimos. Tienen sopa de lentejas en la casa que es tan hermosa y el pan es fresco y caliente. Tienen el hummus más sabroso que he probado en mi vida.Me encantó. Definitivamente regresaré

Hicimos una comida rápida antes del concierto y estamos muy impresionados. El personal era muy amable y la comida estaba llena de sabor y bien cocinada. Si no hubiéramos salido, hubiéramos pedido una bolsa para perros, nos fuimos mucho, pero solo porque nos dieron tanto, el naan y el hummus complementarios se estaban llenando con una sopa de lentejas y el plato principal. Pedimos dos platos principales y un refresco cada uno y podría haber alimentado fácilmente a cuatro personas, y todo por 30. Muchas gracias, volveremos. . .

زرنا المطعم بعد توصيه من أحد الاقارب بتجربته وكان فعلا كما قالالمطعم اجواءه عراقيه ابتداءا من الاسم خطار وتعني "ضيوف " باللهجة العراقيةو اللوحات المعلقه والتي تمثل التراث والبيئة العراقيه والموسيقى التي تصدح بالمكان استقبلونا بالشوربه كطبق ضيافه ثم توالت وصول الاطباق خبز التنور والحمص والروب والخيار ثم الاطباق الرئسيه كباب مع رز وكباب وتكه ومرق باذنجان وختامها الشاي العراقي الاصلي الاكل كميته راهيه ولذيذ الخدمه جدا لطيفه وسريعه والاسعار معقوله اعطيه ٥/٤

We have visited Khuttar restaurant more than once and we both agree the food is very good and great value. Located just off Praed Street, Paddington. I usually order the chicken tikka, very delicate flavour, just enough to compliment the chicken, served with a generous fresh salad. My partner enjoyed the minced lamb kebab/salad. We shared a rice portion which was cooked perfectly. Flatbread and hummus are delicious! The restaurant will serve you complimentary starters so we show our appreciation for this and the good service by rounding up the bill or by leaving a generous tip. No alcohol is served. Khuttar is a quiet unpretentious small restaurant that serves great food at a great price, now one of our favourite places. Having complimented the food and service, we have noticed it is time to give the restaurant walls a coat of emulsion!

Food was tasty and filling, the service was friendly. Restaurant was empty when we arrived and didn't get busy but i would recommend. Good value too.

They serve really huge portions, you should count with that. Great flavours, friendly staff. The complementary soup was a kind gesture :)

Caminamos después este lugar cuando primero buscando un lugar para cenar, no una persona en el restaurante. No entiendo por qué! Es increíble, la comida es buena, el mundo es muy sencillo pero muy bien preparado. Increíble por el precio así, difíciles de encontrar buena comida y servicio como tal un precio bajo en cualquier lugar cerca. Una visita obligada!

Restaurante khuttar hemos visitado unas cuantas veces y ambos estuvimos de acuerdo en que la comida es muy buena y excelente relación calidad-precio. Situado justo a la salida de Praed Street, Paddington. Normalmente me pide el pollo tikka, bastante sabroso, suficiente sabor para acompañar el pollo, servido con una generosa ensalada fresca. Mi compañero ordenados y disfrutamos de la picada de cordero kebab / ensalada. Compartimos una porción de arroz que estaba perfectamente preparada. Su pan plano y hummus son deliciosas! El restaurante le sirven aperitivos de cortesía, así que mostrar nuestro aprecio por este y el buen servicio redondeando la factura o por dejar una propina generosa. No se sirve alcohol. Es un tranquilo restaurante Khuttar pequeño sin pretensiones que sirve buena comida a un precio estupendo, ahora uno de nuestros lugares favoritos.

Esta fue la primera vez que mi compañero de Iraq y probado este restaurante, atraídos por las buenas críticas. Fuimos de fiesta el lunes por la noche. Cuando llegamos, para ser honesto, parecía más como una cafetería que un restaurante un poco anticuada (la música era iraquí, pero un poco anticuado! ), y casi todas las mesas (de los que no hay muchos) no había sido despejada desde que los huéspedes anteriores.

It was my first time when I ate in Iraqi food, it was so delicious that I can say it’s one of the best food I have ever tried.The staff was very polite and helpful. I strongly recommend you to visit Khuttar.

Gradevole il locale, piccolino, ma curato. Gradevole e gentile il servizio. Cucina irachena, ma in tutto e per tutto simile a quella turca, mediorientale. Cibi preparati con cura , sapori genuini, speziati leggermente e in modo gradevole. Le porzioni sono "molto" generose, tenetene conto quando ordinate. Il mix di antipasti - meze - ottimo, soprattutto il humus e babaganush (a base di melanzane). Carne di agnello saporita e tenerissima, verdure ripiene un po' stracotte. Zuppa, verdurine, te e dolcetti offerti dalla casa.

Tuve una cena en el Khuttar, y que era en efecto una comida agradable! No he tenido la oportunidad de comer comida iraqian antes, pero sin duda hacerlo de nuevo. Me intenta ir a Londres una vez al año y cuando estoy allí, estoy encantado de estancia de la zona de Paddington. Aún así, no he encontrado la Khuttar hasta ahora. Próxima visita a Londres sin incluir una visita allí. Que te gusta la buena comida y excelente servicio, no dudes en ir allí

No estábamos seguros de intentar este lugar (decoración rara, con nadie dentro, pensé que estaba cerrada cuando entramos pasado) pero nos estábamos muriendo y parecía ser el único restaurante con buena comida vegetariana en oferta. Tuve el estofado de berenjena - fue increíble! Uno de los mejores platos que he probado comer en mucho tiempo. Mi amigo tenía el cordero y dijo que también era muy sabrosa. Las raciones son enormes, así que, buena relación calidad-precio. Ahora estoy un gran fan de la comida iraquí! Le hacen el esfuerzo para volver cuando estoy al lado de la zona.

Tuvimos que coger un tren, con mucho tiempo de sobra. Yo había ido a Khuttar hace varios años, y tenían buena comida vegetariana, así que decidí entrar y preguntar si era posible una comida rápida. No sólo el equipo de sofá khuttar todas las paradas para servirnos rápidamente, pero la comida era incluso mejor de lo que recordaba.

Deliciosa kozy. Recomiendo a todos ir a probar al menos una vez, después de que van a ver. Reserve su mesa y la puerta de la fiesta

Encontré este lugar por accidente. E incluso entonces, por suerte ya nos me pregunto si ir al restaurante en la calle de enfrente como yemenita parecían tener más clientes.

Really tasty food with no weak dishes. Don't be put off by decor. NB I'm pretty much vegan so not sure what the meat is like.

Stumbled on this place by accident and have since returned many times. Kindest and friendliest staff and superb, wholesome food. Strongly recommended.

We planned the visit to try Iraqi food and would highly recommend it. The decor is a bit basic, more like and upmarket cafe but that's the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars the rest was excellent. The very friendly and very polite waiter recommended a cheaper dish than we were intending "randomly " picking, as first timers. It was great. Lamb neck. Think lamb shank but more meat, nicer and falling off the bone. Lovely light spices. Delicious. But that was just the main. It comes with free soup and pickles (odd mix but lovely), free flat bread with yoghurt and mint dip, free (get used to that word) huge fresh salad of lettuce, onion, tomatoes, olives etc. A pile of rice each, "sauce" dishes that were basically vegetables side dishes -again delicious. An extra sauce (free of course) just because the waiter wanted us to try the aubergine as we both chose okra. Way too much to eat but we gave it our best shot. Every bite was delicious. And as we tried to get the bill they brought out free (again) black tea and some pastry treats. £11 a head. Just go.

All kind of Iraqi food, the Mazgof Fish is so tasty. All kind of food is very delicious. I have tried almost all what they have. Highly recommend everyone who stays near Edgware Road, Paddington to try it.

Small and friendly with helpful staff close to Paddington station. The menu is different to the majority of the Middle Eastern Restaurants in the area but the staff are happy to advise so you can try something different, the bread is excellent. The portions can be quite large but luckily the waitress stopped me from over ordering. Like many Middle Eastern Restaurants this one does not serve Alcohol.

Sono stato incuriosito dalle numerose recensioni positive, quindi ho deciso di provarlo assieme alla mia ragazza. Accoglienza perfetta, ci si sente a proprio agio fin dall'entrata. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Ci siam fatti consigliare dalla cameriera, che prima di ordinare ci aveva già portato delle verdure all'aceto, una salsa tipo yogurt buonissima, e due zuppe buonissime. Il pane è da provare assolutamente. Abbiamo ordinato un pollo ed un taglio di collo di vitello, serviti in piatti grandi con del riso aromatizzato, in più a scelta due salse per condire molto buone, una a base di melanzane, peperoni e pomodori, l'altra con delle piccole zucchine. Piatti molto generosi, infatti non si riesce a finir tutto. Per finire...un thé nero caldo e dei dolcetti arabi sempre offerti da loro. Nulla di alcolico da bere. Punti di forza: l'attenzione e la cura al cliente, la cottura della carne tenerissima, il prezzo: 28 £ in 2; punto di debolezza...le bevande.Lo consiglio.

Jus went in by chance. Very welcoming and immediately a plate of pickled vegetables were placed on the table, after which a delicious bowl of lentil soup was served to us, then came a dish of salad and a dish of humus and tarama followed by a freshly cooked flat bread. Everything was delicious and we hadn't even started to order. I ordered a kebab which was served with red cabbage and vegetable and another hot fresh bread. My friend ordered a local dish of bread soaked in okra with lamb. This was a huge bowl. The portions were very generous and we could not finish them all and were offe choice of taking them with us. Not finished yet as we were served tea and sweets. The service was friendly and impeccable. However, no alcohol was allowed. The bill was the next surprise as it came to £20 for the two of us. The meal was very good value and delicious. I will certainly go there again.

Hidden gem, small but food is great well worth a visit - staff very friendly and polite - love the kebabs, soup and fish - great value for money - will visit again

We felt very welcomed in this small establishment n'est Paddington. The waitress was extremely helpful in providing us tips and ideas for combining the different dishes we wanted to try.The quantities were very generous, and we got a lot of complimentary small side dishes, delicious and tasty.We loved that the team of the restaurant made us feel so much at home, and we're kind and asking for feedbacks on the dishes throughout the dinner. The price is really moderate compared to the quantities served. We will for sure recommend this place to discover iraki food.

Best ever meal i had , i live in bournemouth and we dont have a place for Iraqi Kabab . went to london for my birthday and thought to go to this place . the kebab was so nice . we loved the rice that was served with the kebab. all was a great servcie Staff at Khuttar were so great we will come back again

Stopped by based on TA comments. Great services for the get go. Free soup, bread, tea and sweets. We took the lamb skewer and the mixed grills, two huge plats. We couldn't finish it all. All and all we really like out experience. We would come back. Highly experience. This place cater to local Iraqi people mainly. We only saw one other tourism couple.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. I was greeted with a very nice lentil soup (I did not order, or pay for this). My grilled chicken and lamb was very nice with a fresh salad, rice, bread and beans. The portions were so large that I had no need for a desert but I was offered a complimentary pot of tea with sweets. Overall a brilliant experience!

This was my first time here. The owner was absolutely friendly from begin to end. The complimentary pea soup was excellent. I ordered the special. It was authentic as you can get. It was a lot of food. At the end, tea was offered and sweets on the house. The sweets were excellent. I would come back. The atmosphere is pleasant and great value.

The smell of freshly baked bread was the only invitation I needed for a late lunch,inside was small but the welcome was huge,I had a mixed salad starter the fresh bread was brought out quickly and was followed by grilled chicken.Sadly this was a disaster as it was obviously old,dry and hard to cut and chew.I remarked that surely this was just reheated and was told yes from lunch,I am not a believer............Never Mind.I was infact offered a kebab with onions and tomatoes which was a huge improvement and was done with compliments.The mint tea was also nice and generally very good value for money.I am sure people will agree there is nothing worse than precooked food heated to the point of spoiling it......................The staff were apologetic and sincere.

Slightly off the main road in Paddington, this small Iraqi restaurant provided plentiful, tasty and good value food. We ended up going here during a trip to London, when we found out that an old favourite restaurant of ours nearby had closed. I had previously tasted Iraqi food cooked by a friend but had not been to an Iraqi restaurant before. The staff were attentive and we were immediately served bowls of complementary lentil soup. There was a good choice of menu and I had no problem as a vegetarian in finding several options. The food arrived promptly, was very tasty and the Nan was fabulous - wafer thin and delicious. Our starters and mains did arrive together and our soft drinks were quite slow in arriving, but these did not spoil the overall experience. It is worth noting for Westerners that Iraqi culture is Islamic and I don't think the restaurant is licensed for alcohol, but we did not specifically ask. We finished with Iraqi tea which was served with delicious baklava that complemented it perfectly. To summarise, the food was generous, tasty and very good value.

We stumbled across this restaurant when looking for somewhere to eat in Paddington. Having never tried Iraqi food before we were a little unsure of what it would be like. However we received a warm welcome from the staff and were quickly served some delicious lentil soup and pickled vegetables and we knew we had made the right choice! For the main course we had a lamb, okra and bread stew and a lamb, kidney bean and herb stew with rice. Both were lovely and the portions were more than enough. We also had some of the flat bread which we could see them making and it was lovely. Afterwards we were served Iraqi tea and baklava. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we didn't feel rushed at all. All this for £25! Would definitely recommend eating here.

I used to go to this restaurant before it changed its name and took the bread oven out of the main area. Watching the new staff make bread was always "interesting" but now that pleasure is denied the customer. The food was always very good and plentiful and that remains the case. Slight revisions to the menu but otherwise really tasty good quality food.

Entrati quasi per caso, siamo rimasti abbastanza sorpresi dalla cura nelle preparazioni e dalla comodità di poter chiedere spiegazioni ad una commessa italiana.La cucina è iraqena, per tutti noi una novitàGiro di antipasti, variegati e numerosi, poi le ordinazioni: il pollo era ben preparato e leggermente speziato, basti dire che ai bambini è piaciuto.Noi invece abbiamo preso un pescione (credo un'orata) preparato in una maniera singolare, aperto in 2 e appiattito per cuocere su entrambi i lati.Il colpo d'occhio può spiazzare, ma il piatto è buono (ovviamente vi deve piacere il pesce ben cotto)La sorpresa vera è stata alla cassa, considerando che ci trovavamo a Londra abbiamo speso veramente poco.

An Iraq resultant , very good food and service. The mixed 4 starters is good for a group.The bread is the best you can taste. It is worth visiting this place for the freshly cooked bread , even before you taste the grills or main courses

We discovered this gem after finding the other listed middle eastern restaurants in Paddington were full. We were very glad we did, the resturant has a lovely atmosphere, very friendly family style staff, and a wonderful menu. While they clearly specialise in tandouri style meats the vegetarian options were fantastic - great halloumi, baba ganoush, aubergine, okra, amazing nan, home made baklava and other treats, all at such good value we wildly over ordered. Only sharing this obvious neighborhood secret because home cooking this good deserves some attention.
