The best restaurants in England

We found this gem of a cafe by personal recommendation. Excellent breakfast food and coffee, very friendly proprietors, and the quirky decor and crockery make it one of a kind. Nothing is over-priced either. Thank you Mel and George, we will be back.

Bought a 1kg bag of coffee beans. The assistant was happy to grind beans for espresso and coffee, and to reseal the remaining beans in the bag. Great service, thank you. The coffee was excellent.

This is a go to place for my pal and I if we fancy chips by the sea. We enjoy visiting because the staff are so friendly, especially Becky who always remembers our meals of choice ( fish cakes and chicken nuggets and chips) the food is always cooked to order, the ice creams are lovely too and all right on the prom with plenty of seating available.

Best fish and chips I’ve had! Perfectly cooked and the customer service was top! Very quick and polite. I would highly recommend it to anyone

Lugar encantador para comer y beber. Preciosas sillas grandes para sentarse con una botella de vino, junto con hermosas áreas de comedor y un maravilloso jardín. La comida es fantástica y la selección de vinos excelente. El personal es atento y amable. Definitivamente un gran all rounder.

Linda pequeña tienda con algunos cocidos increíbles. Tengo el especial que era frambuesa y tarta de queso hibisco que me encantó. Compañero consiguió el crumble de bayas mezclado que era muy agradable, pero encontraron demasiado enfermizo para terminar. Muchos otros sabores interesantes. Un poco de un ambiente apresurado, donde siento que el personal estaba un poco estresado. Aunque eso probablemente se deba a la alta demanda porque la comida realmente es tan buena. Muy instagrameable.

I have been to a few West Indian places, but this one was just 10/10 being a vegan the food was just out of this world!! Surely up for the best restaurant in London, just ridiculously good. The staff 10/10 The cooks 10/10 Only one thing I wanted to stay all night and eat everything vegan on the menu!! A Fabulous evening.

INCREDIBLE. Super authentic hidden gem. Chinese students come here to dine, the staff are very sweet, and the portions are MASSIVE. We had the mixed dry hotpot, green beans, and hot and sour soup. I have a massive appetite for rice but I couldn't finish my one portion of rice, and we packed SO much to take home. Definitely come with friends so you can try loads of dishes. I WILL BE BACK.

Went to jolis for a bacon sarni for the 3 days we were in whitchurch visiting our grandson the bacon was so tasty and it came in a toasted bap the atmosphere in the place was good the staff were so friendly we will deffo go back next time we visit from Newcastle

He estado un par de veces antes y cuando no está demasiado ocupado es un lugar muy bueno para venir con amigos. Sin embargo, NYE era extremadamente ocupado y la disposición de la barra lo hace sentir tan claustrofóbico. Para empeorar las cosas, solo hay 1 inodoro por cada hombre y mujer, lo que creo que es una broma cuando está tan ocupado. Sé que con la parte del club nocturno bajo tierra no necesariamente hay espacio para retretes adicionales o área de pie, pero quizás debería haber una regla de cuántas personas están permitidas en el área subterránea a la vez, ya que es tan compacto allí abajo. La sección de arriba del bar parece un poco más espaciosa, pero todavía bastante estrecha y de nuevo solo un inodoro por mujer y hombre. El diseño no es el mejor y normalmente no me quejaría, pero este es el único bar nocturno que funciona en la zona, así que no es como si pudieras ir a otro lugar en su lugar. A pesar de la negatividad, la música es una gran variedad y es un lugar bastante elegante y de moda para ir. Es muy limpio y los precios de las bebidas eran razonables para el lugar / ubicación.

Booked a wine tasting for my friend's birthday, and it did not disappoint! Delicious South African wines (rose, white, red, dessert), our host was so accommodating and knowledgeable, and the grounds are just stunning! Highly recommend.
