The best restaurants in England

Got a delivery on this freezing cold night - food turned up piping hot !! We had prawn balls, chow main, the us ya suspects. The taste of all of the food without exception was amazing. Beat Chinese by far I have ever had - and I have been to the big boys - not anymore. I rang the restaurant to tell them this as we are so quick to complain and call! Great great tasting food thank you and happy new year

This is so disappointing to have to write this review about this restuarant. This is the fifth time we have dined at Sea Beats and have to say after this time we will not be visiting again. We booked a table for last Saturday night for four persons @ 7.30 pm. Prior to going my wife looked at the Menu online and it is still showing a wonderful array of dishes. When we were seated the waiter gave us four set menu's that showed quite a limited choice and immediately told us that there were no more Scallops for the starter and this was at 7.30 pm! My wife asked why this was a different menu to what is online and his reply was "online is the Summer menu with much more choice but now we are doing the Winter menu" ? In that case put that online rather than misleading people to what is available. The service was also quite slow ans quite a long wait between starts and mains. Our starter was Salt & Pepper Squid with chili jam. The portion was meagre, four tiny bits of battered Squid with very little Chili jam. My main was Prawn Linguine which was okay apart from the were the tiniest Prawns I have ever seen and in fact I would say they were Shrimps. It was also flooded with cream, far too much for the dish. My wife had mussells for the main and unfortunately they were only warm and not hot. Overall a very disappointing evening, such a shame because this was one of the stand out restuarants in Weymouth of which we do not have that many. Sorry Sea Beats but we will not be coming back.

Visited for the first time today for lunch with family Had pate for starters, chicken Sunday lunch for main and espresso crème brûlée for dessert - all amazing quality and very filling. Definitely be back.

Really lovely pub, great atmosphere, food and lovely staff.

Grubby! Salt and pepper pots needed a good clean, tray drinks were served on was dirty. Staff were not invested in the customer experience; not very welcoming and music was overpowering, it seemed to be on just for the staff. Radiator badly positioned right next to seating, lots of clutter around. The sausage rolls and pasties looked very anaemic yet carried a hefty price, not home cooked. Not recommended.

We had a delightful meal at Tuscany Too the weekend before Christmas. A busy Bistro style restaurant with great staff. The menu has something for everyone and we were all very happy with our choices. I had the lobster ravioli for my main course, and it was excellent. Just after we arrived there was a short visit from a group of musicians who played a selection of festive tunes - a novelty act that seemed all part of the pre Christmas fun. Really good people work here. Thanks again!

First time visiting these guys, amazing and true gem for the local area! Staff great, food was amazing and worth every penny!

Truly fantastic with a changing menu featuring exciting dishes and the classics. The pies are incredible and also tried an onion bahji scotch egg which was life changing. Brilliant and varied wine menu too.

It's a bit pricey ,same as garden centres but good atmosphere and nice

My husband and I stopped in here on a whim. They were happy to take us with their lunch crowd. The food was immense, the music was good and the service was welcoming. Huge portions! Everything looked good!
