The food was nice, although the portions a little on the small side. Our main issue was that despite advising the restaurant we would have a baby with us, we couldn't have a high chair because of the layout. Thankfully we were allocated an additional table, however we were then rushed through our meal so they could have it back for the next booking. We only had 2 courses but were essentially rejected which was disappointing. Would recommend allowing longer times for tables.

Very Efficient and Courteous Staff.

Leeds is lacking in this area of cuisine other than burrito bars and chains (usually pretty grim) so it was a pleasure to eat here, fresh flavours and although the tacos were too small, the taste made up for this so I’d still recommend. Most tables were reserved so definitely book. Edit - been again and whilst we still enjoyed it, the menu is limited and we ended up getting the same choices, probably won’t return again

After a blip the last time we visited. This time, the food was equally excellent but the service was considerably better. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and would definitely order a take away. Given it’s a small restaurant with a popular take away feature I understand it’s difficult to keep the front door closed. My ONLY complaint was it was freezing this evening and every time the door opened a gust of wind went through the room, and the door not on a latch so blew open and closed. Really can’t fault anything within the control of the restaurant though. Excellent.

Lovely intimate restaurant, which also caters for Vegan and Gluten Free diets. Great atmosphere with good reasonable priced food and drinks. Would recommend the Baja Fish and Mojo Steak Tacos and the broccoli side.

We had dinner here yesterday and I have to say what a complete waste of money. Very expensive for what you get. The food tasted as if it’s been pre-prepared and just warmed up. Some of the sauces were that hot I’ve been up all night with a burning ulcer! Years ago this used to be an excellent Mexican with freshly prepared food and then the previous owners handed it over to somebody else. Now, I don’t know what’s happened but it just isn’t a good place to eat. I’m gobsmacked at the seemingly high reviews as it’s just basic food being passed off as Mexican. I don’t know what’s happened in Chapel Allerton but there’s not many good places to eat anymore and food standards have really dropped everywhere.

It's a lovely place, and the food is delicious! Great atmosphere and excellent service. I tried chicken tacos and plantain with ice cream for dessert—they were just delicious!

great attention to allergies, I am allergic to many foods and the chef/owner was really kind to offer me a valid and excellent alternative. I will return soon, I recommend it as the best Mexican restaurant.

El servicio al cliente fue genial. Pero los tacos no estaban geniales para nada. Tengo el taco de ternera y langostinos y patatas fritas. Las papas fritas y la salsa con el taco de res fue la estrella del espectáculo. El taco de ternera estaba demasiado cocido ya que la costilla de ternera era muy masticable. El taco de langostinos era tan insípido que realmente no entendía lo que hacían que la salsa quería venir con estaba demasiado cocida perdió todo el jugo y el sabor no debería gustar alioli o buena salsa para los langostinos. Probablemente no volveremos de nuevo, pero el servicio al cliente fue agradable y servicial.

Good steady Mexican food. Feel as though portion sizes have got smaller vs previous times, but that was a while ago (hasn't everything). Service could have been warmer and friendly. Not rude but no small talk or being made to feel particularly welcome. Music was blaring so not easy to chat but that is maybe me getting old... Glad the restaurant is still doing well. Been in Chapel A a long time. Can and probably should improve though.

Had a table booked on a Saturday evening at 7pm Orderd Rosè which we couldn't drink as was just a bottle of chemicals the white wine was no better so went for processco ,very nice but only had 1 bottle , on a Saturday night, not good enough.After sharing our disappointment with Sam he managed to find a warm bottle in a back room. They took our plates and told us if we wanted desserts we had to be very quick cos they needed the table , this was 8.10pm .shocking. expressing our disappointment to Sam fell on deaf ears WONT BE GOING BACK

Tuvimos otra comida de primera en un ambiente encantador. Una de nuestras fiestas fue en silla de ruedas y nos dieron la mesa perfecta y un poco de asistencia extra para que todo fuera sin problemas. Los tacos de pescado son bastante literalmente de clase mundial, pero todo lo demás que teníamos estaba en un nivel similar. Los Nachos están bellamente cubiertos para proporcionar un ponche de sabores sin ser una goo de lío cursi... me atrevo a decir que casi parecen saludables con los mirones frescos y la slasa casera y los frijoles recalentados. Nunca he tenido una mala comida en este maravilloso restaurante. Supriti, nuestro servidor, fue amable y atento como siempre, de primera categoría!

Easily some of the best food in Leeds....anywhere really. The fish tacos are worthy of a Michelin star in my view as a foodie who has regularly visited starred venues in London over the last couple of decades. Very colourful, buzzy atmosphere, with the food matched by the service.

Nice people and exciting food. This will be a regular visit. We only had some chicken wings and a couple of Burritos which was plenty of food for us two. I was looking forward to trying the Tacos too but we'll save those for the next visit. Others have mentioned the tamarind dip which is certainly worthy of note: hot, sweet and punchy and very very moreish! I must say I was particularly impressed with both the service and the quality of the food. On the face of it this is a simple cuisine but you can taste the care that goes into the prep' and the layers of flavours and ingredients. Food like this is under-rated because it looks simple, but like some many things, when you're really good at something, you make it look easy. This is seriously good food.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience last night - and want to thank the chefs and staff for everything from the sensational food, delicious cocktails (wow), attentive service and for squeezing us in slightly earlier than our planned table time to save us a trip back and forth. Myself and my friend haven’t been to Pinche Pinche for a little while, and based on our experience last night I’m not sure we will go anywhere else for our dinner catch ups in future. I woke up this morning thinking about the food! A massive 5* from me

Have wanted to try this place for a while and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Fantastic food, the variation of flavours were excellent and they offered a good variety of vegetarian and gluten free options. Would definitely recommend.

Great little restaurant right in the middle of CA

We finally made it to Pinche Pinche for a family night out. I’d not been in years and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was on point, the drinks and tacos especially. All with great friendly service!

Really nice little restaurant. The quacamole shared starter was amazing.I had salt fish tacos for my main which was just as good as I had had in other Mexican restaurants. Because we got there before 18:00 on a weekday, we got a good deal on the menu: Each main meal was £10 and came with seasoned fries which were delicious 😋.

Vegan options on offer are fantastic. The execution of food is top notch, visited 3 x in the past 2 wks and they have smashed it out of the ball park on each visit. Consistency of great food is key, service is as important as the food and they've got it right. No gratuity added to the bill is like a breath of fresh air and eliminates the awkwardness some diners may feel if they do not wish to leave a gratuity for whatever reason. Hopefully this encourages pleased and satisfied customers to leave what they feel they wish to leave dependant upon their dining experience. Well done!! 😀

All in all a really good mexican. Food was decent, plenty of flavour with good portions. Lovely environment and fantastic service.

Absolutely loved it. The tamarind sauce is excellent. My only suggestion is a better coffee machine, it is a little slow.

Brilliant can’t wait to go back

First visit to Pinche Pinche. Food was lovely and service was ok. Abit annoyed I had to pay £2 extra to swap the soda water in my mocktail for lemonade when I wasn't informed of this.... seems a little much but it wouldn't stop me from going back as the tacos are just delicious.

Midweek treat for dinner so was quiet but that meant super service so no complaints. Food and drinks both excellent and staff provided good advice on how much to order. Will be back soon

Absolutely loved our evening here. We've been unlucky previously with trying to get a table. We went for wings and corn ribs to start, both very tasty, then a trio of tacos and some loaded fried. Everything looks great, tastes great, and doesn't cost the earth. Drinks are also very reasonable. Pinche Pinche is just what a great neighborhood restaurant should be, good food, sensible prices, charming service, we will be back.

Enjoyed this little old school Mexican restaurant. The sea food tacos were very good and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place! Good standards of customer service. Will be going back at some point! Salud 🇲🇽
