I’m a coffee geek - and the coffee here is second to none (plus the wonderful service). It’s my commuter treat, but I often make a detour there at the weekend as it’s so good 😊

Knot Pretzels and Coffee is a perfect stop! I had the cinnamon sugar pretzel — it was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The service was great too. It made for the perfect treat to enjoy on the train. Definitely worth a visit! Cute little area where you can eat in, too!

What a magnificent morning! I have been super warmly welcomed by Kai, such a wonderful person that took care of me and made me such a good vanilla iced latte and prepared me a pretzel that was delicious 🥰. I will definitely come back had such a great service and good energy from him to start my day! Thank you Kai I wish there were more people like you!

Knot coffee is the highlight of my morning commute. Perfectly located in the station, amazing coffee and friendly baristas can’t recommend Knot enough!

Fabulous product but what's the deal with the lack of serviettes? They're never out for the punter, your pretzel arrives without any and when you ask you get one non absorbent one with a scowl from the server. The Richmond branch could always do with a good clean as well.

I liked the taste of the pretzel. The drink was also ok. But after more than 6 times coming there, the pretzel almost always came undercooked. Even when there was not many queuing, the staff still made it undercooked. The atmosphere was ok although sometimes the station was very busy. There was music there. They need to put a trash bin for customers so customers can clean their own table after finishing the food, and drinks. There is only 1 trash bin there (it's inside the working area). Toilet for customers is not available.

Great vegan hot beverages, unfortunately they paused their vegan pretzels due to a change of supplier. As of Dec 2024 they don't serve vegan bakeries.

There 2 gentlemen who work in the morning are absolutely lovely. Always so chatty and inviting. 10/10 Quiet lass in the evening not as friendly but still nice. Tasty food too. Coffee slightly on the expensive side.

Excellent cappuccino! Good pretzel, though I chose the multiseed one and spent the next half hour trying to get out the seeds which stuck in my teeth. Haha. Attractive - not!

My daughter is big fan of pretzels. Plain, cheesy, salty… today she tried Nutella one for the first time and she said “this is the best pretzels I ever had mama! You should leave good review for them” so here I am, thanks for the great pretzels and we will visit you definitely next time when we went to Richmond again.

Usually good but coffee was way too hot. I wasn’t the only one saying so I’ve recently had surly service and a lazily made cappuccino at Vauxhall too. They use excellent Monmouth coffee but the staff training seems to have lost its way. I won’t be returning You cannot make a cappuccino with boiling milk

The staff in Knot were fun and chatty and really helpful, the coffee was good, but it was pretty tepid and even thought it states it is ‘Artisan Coffee’ that usually means tiny it actually was a decent size. Unfortunately by the time I ate my Pretzel it had dried up a bit, but it was still pretty good.

Went into this lovely coffee shop on Sunday morning and got served a delicious coffee as well as a pretzel, which was made fresh upon request. I got served by Roxy, who was very cheerful despite it being so early, and she definitely made my day better with her energy.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on way to the theatre. ..and wow! The pretzels are soft and warm and utterly delicious, especially the cinnamon ones. Will be back!

Give Aemon at Richmond branch a pay rise! 14 hour shift, just one hour break, the poor lad worked nonstop all day still with a smile and always polite :) what a star

The cinnamon pretzel was awesome.

I really love Knot, and I love their pretzels, and just more generally the food and drink that they offer fills a niche that is noticeably empty in many locations. Their signature cinnamon sugar or lavender sugar pretzel, freshly baked, is soft, warm, and excellent with a hot drink or fresh lemonade. And the staff are always incredibly nice, service is friendly and fast, and packaging/extras are always within easy reach. My only gripe is that I wish there were more locations for Knot! I can only find a knot inside train stations, which of course is not the best ambience for a bite to eat if you are not in a rush, or you have to enter a train station to get some of their food and drink. It is an absolute treat to have food and drink from knot on the train - however, I just wish we had more options to dine in on a high street.

The coffee here is good but nothing special, they could be faster though considering they’re in a train station and people are usually in a rush. Anything over AMT anyway.

lovely little coffee shop, a bit overpriced but then its RIchmond...

First and last time I bought anything. Apart from the fact that it's ridiculously overpriced, I got a pretzel charcoaled (2 for £6.50, out of which was burnt to hell). The guy didn't bother to prepare another one and I couldn't see it as it was in a little paper bag. Shocking.

Quick stop for coffee and bagel, pleasant enough and I had a good mocha with oat milk. Plain vegan Pretzel was fresh and fluffy and would have it again. Prices are moderately high, service was good and I liked the daily question on the board. It's located beyond the ticket barrier, so you'll have to exit to pay them a visit. Seated space is available although limited to 3/4 tables.

I went to Richmond today by tube and I have seen Knot and wanted to eat a Pretzel but I was worried they did not have vegan options. I was glad to find out they had several options and the cinnamon one was made fresh in store as advised by the helpful staff so i got the cinnamon one and after a short wait I got a fresh, warm , tasty cinnamon sugar Pretzel

Best latte I've ever had. Cinnemon bun was ok. The guy was really friendly, although not very fast, which could have been a problem if I had been in a hurry.

Bought three cinnamon buns - all had clearly not been baked on the day. Overpriced, stale food. Take your money elsewhere.

I've always been incredibly reluctant to buy coffee out and about, but since my commute has taken me via Knot, that has changed. Amazing consistent and delicious coffee. The lady who is there often in the morning is absolutely killing it. She deserves a raise. Seriously brightens my morning every time.

Just happened now, whoever was on shift, a curly haired girl was so rude to me, and it was totally unprovoked. I also work in a coffee shop, so I know what customer service should be like, and I also know what an annoying customer is like. And I wasn’t being annoying at all, I simply asked about the coffee sizes/how many shots, so I could decide what to order, and I asked for an Oat latte but only 3/4 filled. Simple request. The customer service and relation was just not there. She snapped at me for wanting a different order and spoke about me negatively to other colleagues very loudly while acting like I wasn't even there, when I could clearly hear her, as she spoke loudly across the room to someone about me... and just generally being condescending, belittling, and simply very rude. Eventually another colleague interjected the transaction, and took over, likely because she was being so rude and was probably embarrassed about the rude colleague. Another error in the transaction, which was potentially dangerous- I wanted oat milk, and I do think my coffee was made with oat milk but there must have been cows milk in the jug also, which wasn't poured away and rinsed before using Non dairy, as the latte tasted strongly of cows milk, not oatly- which I am very familiar with. I’m lactose so I had to go back and get it made again, all while remaining nice and positive, it was only an accident. The transaction was a train wreck though. Rude staff member and careless coffee making. AVIOD AVOID AVOID (Joe & the juice is just 2 mins up the road)

Best coffee in Richmond, warm smile and fast service so I don't miss my maorning train. Commute is not the same without a coffee from Knot (and the occasional pretzel too!) especially in lockdown!

I bought a sea salt pretzel and filter coffee. The pretzel was under baked and tasted more cakey than bready, as if there’s sugar in it. Very soft and dissaponting. The coffee was horrible. I lived in Switzerland and absolutely loved Bretzel Koenig in the train stations there. So disappointed not to find a substitute in this place.

So slow that I had to leave it as I was getting a train. It was rush hour, and they were baking one pretzel at a time… Left hungry and -£4.

According to Google open until midnight on Fridays, but was closed at 10:15pm ! Presumably only open until 9pm, but no opening hours were displayed.

What a discovery! My fiancé spotted this little gem as we were leaving the station. Simply excellent coffee and wonderful pretzels! Cheese and onion marmalade pretzel, served hot? Yes please! Please open a place in Reading! Please?!

Friendly baristas, okay coffee by Union and hot doughy knots. The cafe looks a bit tired and old and could do with a make-over.

Soya cappuccino was the worst I've ever had, it was lukewarm and tasteless, more like a warmish cup of soya milk with no coffee...such a shame.! Have given 2 stars instead of 1 because the pretzl was quite nice - very fresh but a little on the doughy side! Quite disappointed I'm afraid 😔

The coffee is not amazing but is made with care, and the pretzels are lovely and are always warm and fresh. The staff are super friendly and add their own touches like a daily quiz question and lemon water to make the store their own. A nice place to come before hopping on the train and they never mind me propping my bike against the wall

Staff are lovely and the drinks are made with care. I would ask the owners to put air con or even a fan in for the staff. It’s absolutely boiling in this store when the weathers nice and uncomfortable for customers popping in for a couple of mins let alone the staff! I felt really sorry for them, trying to serve with a smile but clearly very uncomfortable!!!! Give them a fan at least!!!!

The cinnamon bun was great. The dough was freshly baked and the cinnamon was not too sweet. Thinking of going to the station just because of it!
