Regal Spice used to be called the Regal Haandi. The name has changed but the great Indian food, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere (not to mention the very reasonable prices) makes for a great dining experience. It is a "cozy" venue so I recommend booking if you can. They do takeaway too!

Have been curious about Regal Spice for a while occupying a small premise on the edge of Twickenham Green. It’s quite small with only a few tables, but appears to do a good takeaway trade. The chap who was taking orders was friendly and polite. The menu was pretty extensive as pictured and the prices were below accurate for the area. The chicken tikka makhani was very enjoyable and to find a garlic and rosemary naan was an unusual but welcome touch. The visit was very efficient too and nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly be back.

Absolutely loved this placed! Excellent food, loved the mixed grill and lamb bhuna! Service couldn’t have been better, felt like a really friendly local spot. Special thanks the Abdul who was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back again, would absolutely recommend this place!

Excellent little place! Brilliant food at incredibly reasonable prices. Service was fantastic - Abdul especially couldn’t do enough for us and the other tables. Highly recommend if you’re after a proper curry house experience. We’ll be back again for sure

The food was absolutely amazing, it's a hidden gem in Twickenham. The waiter was very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is very cozy. I will definitely recommend for everyone and will return many times. The prices are also great. I recommend Lamb Dansak, Paneer Jalfrezi, and Onion Bhaji

This unassuming restaurant by the Twickenham green offers a wide variety of classic Indian dishes. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good for dine in or take away. Limited vegetarian options.

Tried this place for the first time and was disappointed. Asked for extra spicy and not a hint of extra spice. Also the place was empty and you would think being I was the only customer that you would ensure they were satisfied but the takeaway portion was literally only half full. Won’t be going back

Chicken Korma does not taste like Korma. No flavour and tasteless. Order was delayed and turned up cold. Onion barjis not crispy, and flat? Confused. I wouldn’t waste money again on ordering from Regal Spice.

Ordered from here for the first time. Delivery arrived with missing items which would normally mean a bad review HOWEVER called to explain and missing items were replaced in minutes (with some Cobra beer thrown in as an apology - great service!). The food was absolutely delicious. Every single meal was full of flavour and excellent value for money. Our new regular takeaway. Great food and great service 👍

Lived in the area for 8 years and strolled past this place 100s of times without walking in. Finally did so last night and really enjoyed the experience. Great food, decent prices, friendly service…. Tom Hardy’s dined there so if it’s good enough for him etc.

Just ate here for the first time in quite a while. It was superb. They have a huge menu with so many great options, especially if you are vegetarian like myself. Food is so delicious and so cheap, I would happily pay much more. We were served by the lovely Abdul who was so kind and attentive, he put a smile on me and my whole families faces. I wish I could rate this place 6 stars!

WOW!! we dined in here and had a delicious Saturday night curry. There was a large group of us but we were served quickly and the food was exquisite with very helpful staff

Following a meal at this restaurant we were a little underwhelmed. Normally expecting spicy flavours from an Indian meal, this seemed somewhat Bland. Will try it again, perhaps it was an off day, but service was good unhurried and relaxing. Thank you

Just had our first meal from Regal Haandi, read on another site that they may have to close down so ordered a meal. Let's put it this way think we have just found out new Indian restaurant, you get stuck in a rut and stick with the some restaurant, and we will be sticking with RH, . .

We ordered take aways. The portion sizes were very generous, and all of the dishes were so flavoursome! We felt it was also very good value for money. We will definitely be ordering again soon!

Awful. Mixed grill had no flavour and the tikka masal was a straange brown colour. Poppadoms tasted of old oil. Will not order from gere again.

Disappointing. We wondered why we were the only people there. All food looked the same brown sludge. All the different dishes tasted much the same and, oddly and inappropriately, seemed to have several teaspoons of sugar in them. Had to ask for jug of water three times and go to kitchen to remind waiter twice. Was much better when I went few years ago. Won't go back.

Nice family run restaurant , very friendly and welcoming however all curries that came looked the same and chicken was sliced like it came out of a roast chicken packet which was unusual

A small and unassuming place, not far from other, far inferior indian restaurants. Don't let its comparatively small size fool you - the food and the service are both exemplary. Really lovely evening had - would recommend.

Excellent food. I'd risk saying it's one of the best Indian restaurants in Greater London. Very tasty vegetarian dishes, excellent lamb. And their Dansak works miracles at night ;-). Do stop by whenever in Twickenham.
