Great burgers and joyful music,

Been here for food a couple of times now, the food has been brilliant every time, the staff are friendly and can tell you lots about the menu, including ingredients for allergies. Today i was asked if i had tried the korean chicken, which i hadnt. Needless to say, a good selling pitch, i bought it and it was great! Totally didnt need it, it wasnt pushed on me, but very glad to have tried it. Last time we were offered an empty table and a drink while we were waiting for our takeaway, another nice little touch. Will be back for more soon!

Nice venue with a relaxing atmosphere. Very clean and well presented. Wasn’t full when we went and the set up allows for it to be busy without being on top of other diners Very attentive staff member who take care of us but with a relaxed approach. It was the perfect mix of serving us when needed and giving us time to relax and chill. Super polite and very genuine in his approach…. Such a pleasant change from the mechanical service you get elsewhere Food was super tasty and much better than expected. And the price was reasonable compared to other venues nearby. Will defo be back for another visit…. tilt vs Zephyr …. Tilt wins hands down.

I ordered online today and called up in advance to ask about catering for my allergies and they were absolutely fantastic! The first person I was to was lovely and told me all the gluten free, dairy free and egg free options I can eat as well as alternatives I can have. I placed my order and called up again to swap some cheese for dairy free and the lady I spoke to was also so kind and helpful. This is the first place I’ve been that has been so helpful and allergy friendly! Definitely recommend anyone who has any food allergies to eat here!

Bought three meals as takeaway. Football was on so the restaurant was very quiet but I visited quite early. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Food was INCREDIBLE.

Ordered on deliveroo, honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time, even after having traveled it was tasty, the salad in my Tacos was crisp and the steak they used was phenomenal. Will definitely be ordering again!

Great little eatery. Very accommodating for allergies. Sliders were great and the garlic butter fries are ridiculous! I wasn't a fan of the American style cheese sauce on the bacon loaded fries, but overall everything was great.

Tasty but the burgers are very pink. Unlike steaks you can’t cook burgers medium rare as it has a greater risk of food poisoning they need to be cooked well done and have a thermo reading of 160c. I like the food but it does tend to be very undercooked and this will make someone sick in a minute!

A place to visit again and again

I just had a slider and french toast with biscotti. The slider was very greasy. And the toast was dripping in oil . I wouldn’t order again

A chilled south American themed chilled slider bar which must be on your visit list. I came here off the back of a recommendation and I'm so pleased that I did. The atmosphere is really chilled with a mixture of soul and soft American rock music playing in the back ground. The six tables are spaced well, with a bar at the rear sporting a top shelf of rum, gin and whiskey. The menu is geared towards a selection Sliders which are about 3" in diameter, there are also other plates available. I have quite a big appetite so went for three sliders and a side of chips which is enough to leave me feeling full, two would have been fine but hey. I love the idea of the sliders, I was able to have three completely different burgers: Beef with cheese and pickle, butter chicken and duck. One of the things that I also enjoyed was a huge array of hot sauces available on the bar, a real treasure trove for hot sauce lovers. Now, back to that top shelf, as Al Green starts playing, the Dead Man's Fingers rum looks mighty fine!

The food was gorgeous, I had one each of the classic slider - three sliders with different toppings - a duck slider and one of the specials on the side... I've been to a lot of slider places where the sliders are tiny! So I ordered more than I would but they came out and I knew instantly I had over ordered, the food tasted incredible, the portions were amazing and their selection of hot sauce was amazing, I recommend the 'stokes habanero hot sauce', that was incredible 11/10 will be back

Popped in here on the way home from work, had a couple of beautiful sliders ( duck & crab). Very friendly and great food and good selection of drinks. Definitely recommend 👌

My wife and I ordered some sliders and korean chicken and holy heck was it amazing! This is a definite must try for anyone in Plymouth who's looking for an awesome American style slider burger.

Update 2023: updated to 5 stars. Absolutely amazing burgers and considering the price of other places, they are great value. The skirt steak loaded fries is unavoidably good too. 2022 review: Good food overall and nice different menu than other Plymouth burger joints but would be good to see some options for some less hipster foodie things in case you're not in the mood for adventure but still want a good quality burger.

Enjoyed a takeaway from here, was surprised at size of sliders as was bigger than expected! The deal they had on as well encouraged me to eat out of comfort zone and I was so glad I did as the dishes were so tasty, I had to have some the next day.

My mother and I went here after a trip to the cinema. We walked in without reservation but it was no issue. The decor was casual, colourful and fun. There were games on the table to keep you occupied while waiting for your food. We played dominoes and discovered we are both quite bad at trivial pursuit question cards. Our server was extremely helpful with menu tips etc. and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. Both non-meat eaters (one vegan one vegetarian) we had an ample amount of interesting choices on the menu. It was definitely comfort food and great for sharing. We had Buffalo Cauliflower, Tacos to share & a Slider each which was plenty. I would definitely recommend this place for a social/sharing situation and with kids for a treat as the place and the food is fun. The space is quite small so if you are a large group I would book in advance.

I wish they could make it clear on their website that their burgers are bite-sized mini burgers.

We got Tilt delivered and never even heard about this place. But I can't stop thinking about how delicious it was!! We will definitely be ordering more.

The food was delivered hot by a friendly driver, it took about 45 minutes from order to delivery on a busy Friday evening, perfect timing. We ordered several different chicken and beef sliders, they were all delicious and generous in their toppings. I reckon two burgers plus a half portion of fries would fill most people to a happy and very satisfied level, some might not even need that much. We had the prawn fries which were generous with prawns but not much sauce, I'd recommend buying an extra pot of sauce for those. The cheesy bacon fries were lovely and very well covered. The only issue we had was the korean chicken - these are on the menu as having a gochujang sauce but in reality they were completely drenched in ketchup. Unfortunately I can't eat ketchup and these were what I ordered for myself. A couple of my family members dipped a fry in the sauce to taste test it against regular ketchup and could not identify a difference. There was no warning on the korean chicken description that they would come with ketchup, so I'd suggest clarifying that on the menu, or better yet creating a proper korean gochujang sauce with gochujang, soy sauce, etc. Their chef is obviously skilled at literally everything else, they should give it a go. I phoned in to Tilt about the sauce and they did agree the sauce is made with gochujang and ketchup, but honestly there is no detectable gochujang flavour or spice in there at all. HOWEVER the guy who answered the phone did agree to send out a new portion of chicken *without* the ketchup to swap over, and those arrived within about ten minutes, same friendly driver. I can't fault their service at all and we will most definitely be ordering from them again, it was a real treat and the only problem we had they sorted straight away. Thanks Tilt :)

Ordered a takeaway from here and was very good. The slider and churros were incredible however the mac n cheese wasn’t very good 4/5 would order from there again!

Went for a bite to eat with some friends and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to ordering. The sliders were amazing. I had 2 chicken sliders and they were easily some of the best I've tasted in quite a while. The loaded fries were OK, not amazing, but I still couldn't fault them. Overall, it was a good place to eat with a nice relaxing atmosphere and solid prices. I'll be looking to go again in the future

Placed an order via Deliveroo. Came in a timely manner and perfect, ready to eat. Really tasty if your feeling naughty… I like how they do the mini burgers as it gives people freedom to choose to have a lighter bite or something more substantial. Nice to support independent too. 😊

We liked so much the atmosphere. You have card games at the table to Play meanwhile you wait for your order. The price is ok for the food. Keep in mind the burgers are small size like catering kind of. The fries are super yum. They have a good selección for vegan and meat eaters. The taste is really good. We enjoyed.

Really loved this place! We wanted somewhere quiet but quirky and this fit the bill! Movie themed with great tacos and small burgers, would definitely go back. Staff were super friendly too!

The whole experience was yummy, food was ready within 20 minutes (we collected) obsessed with the restaurants deco... Halloween vibes are always a win!! The food was on another level, I had the sweet chilli beef burger... OMG I could have eaten 7. They are small BUT they are full of goodness, extras and filled me up nicely. The chips were crispy and soft on the inside. I can't wait to try something else on the menu, Thank you for a great takeaway

Popped by for some food after a movie, tucked in to a couple of sliders, Korean chicken and buffalo cauliflower! Really awesome food, a good selection for meat-eaters, veggies and vegans. Steaming hot when it arrived and very fresh, plus they happily catered for being fussy! I would definitely recommend the beef slider with bacon jam, easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. The staff seem really lovely, super accommodating and the whole place has a really chill, quiet vibe which is sort of retro/American/classic movie themed. Plus there’s free movie quizzes and card games on the table! Thanks for having me guys ☺️

Lastnight me and a group of friends had my birthday dinner here! My partner and I have been to Tilt many times now and thought its the best place for a birthday! And it really was, staff are awesome, food is incredible. Thank you to the staff at tilt for giving us a fabulous time, and they're pet friendly too! Even my little doggie came for tea 🐶

Great food and service. The whole family enjoyed it.

Food was very tasty however it made me extremely ill and throw up for hours. I ordered a gluten free dish, as I have coeliac disease, but now I’m starting to think it wasn’t gluten free. Enjoyed the food in the moment but not when I saw it for the second time.

Required big eats after a big day so me and le wife dropped by for exactly that. Ordered a variety of sliders, some korean chicken and loaded fries. Chicken was great, proper thigh not just small bits of popcorn chicken in thin sauce. Sliders were great , burgers cooked properly not overdone to rubber. Not a fan of loaded fries myself but they were pretty good and the mrs sure did scran them all in, no-doubt, record time. Staff were kind and helpful , playlist on point . will be back

Fantastic meal deal with a little of everything, deliciously fresh and hot on arrival via Deliveroo. Love all the extra sprinkles of peanuts, spring onions etc and the loaded fries were completely piled with bacon and cheese. Fabulously yummy! Will definitely order again. Tilt nails it!

It takes a while so order early, my gluten free meal looked like my husbands non gluten free meal :) but easily marked so could see what was safe to eat and it was lovely! Very much enjoyed the rosemary fries. Thanks Tilt!

There was a cold draught coming from the front door of the restaurant to the table I was sitting at. I did complain to the manager just before I left the restaurant and paying for my meal.

THIS is the way to run a restaurant. Small menu, perfectly executed. Faultless.

Wandered in on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent, friendly service and tasty food, served quickly. We tried a variety of vegan and meat dishes and all of them were very good. Even though I was too full to finish it, the dessert was also superb, and they packed up the remainder for me to take home. Would certainly eat here, or order from them, again.

Burgers are okay, fresh but insanely greasy. However, the pumpkin and beetroot nachos are disgusting, the chips are okay but why not just make normal nachos.. pumpkin and beetroot?? come on.. but the main issue is the snotty cheese sause they put on it. It litterally looks like someone with a very blocked nose has just sneezed all over them. Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. Also the fries look like ones i would make at home if i was half cut. Has potential but some things need to change.

Walked by and had a last minute bite to eat. The food was amazing, brilliant quality and value for money. Good thing I don't live in Plymouth or my money would be spent here. Would highly recommend the beetroot and pumpkin nachos!!!!

I have regularly had takeaway from tilt my favourite is the pork loin with raspberry and Chipotle sauce. But they have updated their menu. Was a bit disappointed until I tried the Korean chicken wow I have found a new favourite. Never had a disappointing dinner from here. Highly recommended. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Happy to see another place with brilliant vegan options. Had a few takeaways from this place and it's always delicious! On a pricey side but it's worth it as a treat once in a while.

At long last!! A takeout that offers veggie and vegan dishes that actually inspire and go beyond the ordinary. Really good food, cooked beautifully, arrived hot, tasted amazing, and didn’t last long. My partner had the lamb dish and said that it was amazing and so did the dogs! Great effort. Don’t let that standard slip and you guys will go far.

I'm so impressed with the quality of the food. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. You will not regret eating at Tilt it was brilliant. Had ours delivered with uber eats and it came hot and fresh within 25 minutes.

Amazingly juicy burgers tucked away in the market. A true gem that deserves more love. Would recommend trying everything on the menu. The location is a little out of the way but well worth it.

The food is really good but I ordered from uber eats, looking for a good burger. It would be nice if they sold actually sized burgers instead of something called 'sliders.' and they should at least advertise the size of the burger. Good thing I order three or I would have been very mad

Such a gem! I'm so happy I ate here as the food is incredible and so fresh. We tried sliders, dirty vegan fries, halloumi bites and chicken wings, so fresh and full of flavour, i will definitely return.

Delicious Slider menu with something for everyone, beef, chicken, fish and Vegan 👍 Freshly prepared to order with additional specials. Had the loaded Parmesan Fries which were to die for 😋 Chocolate filled Churros for afters....definitely recommend 🙂

Fantastic value !!! Fantastic choice of ingredients to suit every taste, meat,vegan or fish. Sliders( about half size burgers) are new to me but what a wonderful concept!! You can try lots of different combinations. ( Though 2 completely filled me up) Chicken wings best I've ever had! My vegan friends rave about the choice and taste! Tilt is a real find. I'll be there regularly.!!
