The best restaurants in England

Amazing food, been a customer for years. But because of a misshap i receive the food but delivery was never confirmed. I tried to call up to confirm delivery but was very rude and hung up on me

Quality food cooked very well, Decent portion size for the price Would visit again!

My Christmas treat. Chorizo scotch eggs to start for both my friend and I. Mains, beef skewer and vension loin. Cheese to follow. Asked no nuts, but the cheese board covered with them. They had to replace but was apologetic. They serve local produce and beverages. It's not cheap but a lovely night out. Can get quite noisy as it's a small restaurant and a bar. All freshly cooked to order.

We have been customers for over twenty years now and this was our fifth year for the Christmas Day Meal. As usual the food and service was fantastic and we really appreciate just how hard the staff worked. If you find yourself in the area the Jihnook is fantastic you are always made to feel welcome. Thanks again to everyone at the Jihnook for another awesome meal.

Been coming here for years but will sadly not be returning after 2 wasted journeys. Firstly, turned up at 17.30 on a Sunday only to be told the pub now closes at 18.00 on Sundays! No other pub I know does this - is this a pub or a restaurant? The second time, stopped in on Saturday as usual at 17.00 after walking the dog, to be turned away as they have a new rule of no dogs after 17.00. There were empty tables so to turn away customers like this seems ridiculous and poor business sense. Given that a lot of people who work office hours walk their dogs after work, this rule alienates a whole demographic. Time to give other venues a go - with more amenable opening times and fewer 'rules'.

Really lovely meal & great service. 3 of us had a hot & cold platter for 2 but ordered garlic sauted potatoes garlic bread & nachos. 2 beers 2 glasses of wine €68

Solid Japanese restaurant serving a variety of dishes. Sushi is really good and I'd recommend trying some of the more unusual dishes out as well.

The food lacked any semblance of flavour and the restaurant was also extremely loud and felt like a canteen, which made it difficult to hold a conversation. One of the cold starters tasted like an ashtray. All in all, a very disappointing culinary experience and overpriced food.

Wow is all I can say. Booked a meal for my birthday and boy what a fantasfic meal we've had. Great ambiance, lots of chatter& laugher, full restaurant & no wonder why! Such a fab place with wonderful food 💛

All round okay! December quality desserts and plenty of choice (even takeaway to cook at home). Very nice atmosphere, calming. Typically dessert shops are colourful, noisy and, dare I say, cheap looking - not here. You could take your kids here and your Nan. Good for all ages.

Lovely Indian/Bangladesh style restaurant, very clean premises with free parking at the rear. The staff are very friendly ,great menu options. Very reasonably priced. I had the mixed grill with sag aloo and mushroom rice. Numan was very helpful with helping us choose what to order. Highly recommended. I will be returning 🙂

Their scone is better than the Ritz's. You need to make reservation beforehand.

We visited with family who enjoy a good Chinese restaurant. We ordered several dishes and the food was exceptional. All said how great the food was. Great, friendly service on top. Would highly recommend.
