Stopped in after a walk from Coventry. Been 15 years since I have been here. Great pub and friendly cliental and staff. Highly recommend. Fair few people in there for a week day night. I know why now 🙂

It was my first visit today. The pub was very welcoming, we had lunch lovely salmon. The engine has a really nice community pub feel. It was lovely to finally go to the pub my great grandad Tomas Jackson ran many years ago.

this is a proper traditional British pub, with a friendly atmosphere. a local pub. not many of these establishments around anymore! I love it and I hope it never changes

Have heard good reviews about this place in the past about the quality of the ale and so forth. I can't see the reason for the fuss. I paid nearly £4 for a very indifferent pint with an after taste. Not my cup of tea at all - pint of beer I mean
