Greassy & expensive...literally pita bread soaked in fat & inferior donor meat "NOT LAMB DONOR" How on earth would any one send crap like that to a customer, Just wish they would stop having there menus delivered on the local estate. This is a greedy business that lacks real customer service.

In terms of how close they were I feel it could have been delivered a little quicker. but in terms of food and quality. it was very nice.

Food was okay cover in grease though got it delivered and they parked on my grass not very happy

I absolutely love this place. We always order from there on just eat, but tonight we went in person and the service was just as good as the food. Can HIGHLY recommend the full platter. It says it feeds five, but we always end up with leftovers to enjoy the following day

I've been a customer since British Fried Chicken opened. The quality can vary depending on the time of day but overall, I rarely feel dissatisfied. Tonight was superb. The best they've ever been .... A very, very fresh chicken fillet burger and the hottest, freshest chicken on the bone pieces to follow that surpass anything Laindon KFC can provide.

Fair play I wanted delivery and for some reason just eat made it a collection however the restaurant delivered it for me when I called them.. however sadly I wasn’t impressed with any of the food to be fair.. quick delivery but tve pizza, wings halloumi and mozzarella sticks were not great at all. I can’t even say it’s. Cause it was a cheaper place because it wasn’t. Sorry guys

It was wonderful. The delivery was ridiculously fast and the quality of food just gets better. The quantities are huge, there is so much doner meat, the rice is delicious, the pittas, the separated salad. Definitely my only kebab place in Basildon. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you!!

Ordered 2x chicken wraps and cheesy chips. All food was lukewarm at best. Order was correct except for the addition of chilli sauce in one wrap that I didn’t ask for which spoiled it (I’m a wimp, I don’t like spice!!). Delivery driver was great, a very happy chappy 😊

The food was not as good as when I ordered it directly from the shop . Only a spoonful of rice in each and not the same amount of meat.

I ordered over an hour ago, im the middle of the week so probably not that busy, they've put through on the app that it's been delivered but when I rung they told me its still at the restaurant and that its still going to be another 15 minutes.... not happy at all as now I cant even request to cancel it and get it from else where.

For the first time I was disappointed tonight. Not with the quality of the food or with the delivery time. Both were excellent as always. But unfortunately the order was missing items. I ordered a medium doner kebab with chilli sauce and it arrived without either chilli sauce or even a pitta bread. The food was still delicious and I used some pitta bread I had in the freezer plus some chilli sauce I had in the fridge. Overall this is still an excellent quality takeaway that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend but they do need to be more careful with the accuracy of their orders.

Used these guys regularly , not the cheapest in town but food was always reasonable, quality, but sadly on the last 6 occasions mucked our order up and paying a average or £40 Pluss per order 3 to 4 times a week , I would like to think our custom would’ve been valued , sadly not is the case . And in times we’re we all work hard for our money and times are tuff I just do not think they’re worth the expense shame on you Basildon chef Sadly, the only other place worth a mention, in our local area is Wickford Regards

An absolute fantastic find! This is the second time we've ordered from here. Haven't had a decent FRESH donor kebab for years. This was delicious. The quality of the kebab meat was excellent. Excellent food, excellent service. Really impressed.

Ordered a mix platter. It comes with rice and some pita bread. I'd say it's good for two people with some beer. Meat was tasty and cooked well. They've got a collection deal on Monday & Tuesday - Buy a pizza get one free. Would like to try the pizza.

Absolutely joke of a place, hamza or hamda whoever he is, has absolutely zero customer service skills whatever, asked for a chicken strip wrap meal, with onion lettuce and mayo, what I received was practically an onion wrap, literally smothered in onions all I could smell and taste was onion, couldn’t even see the chicken because there was so much onion in the wrap, then aside of that I asked for cheesy chips, I received a bag of cold chips and a box with the measliest amount of cheese inside , that wouldn’t even melt on the chips because they were so cold. Absolute waste of my money and this is not the first negative experience I have had with Basildon chef, I previously removed a one star review at the request of the owner , and unfortunately as hamda/hamza has been left to run the place and make the same sort of mistakes, I’m forced to make another 1 star review , and I will not be removing this review no matter what, you had a chance Basildon chef and ruined it again. Sack the people dragging your business down or don’t be surprised when you get 1 star reviews and beg for people to remove them!! The only positive experience I have had is when Trina took my orders and oversee things. Order was always prefect when she was there. It’s terrible now

It was okay, portion sizes are quite hefty. But the pricing does equate that.

I have ordered a couple times now, the food is not great quality. To compete with other establishments in the area the food quality needs to be much better. The first time I ordered I thought the burger and chips was mediocre and thought I’d give benefit of the doubt so the pizza I ordered today was horrible, it almost felt deep fried, not great. This place isn’t for me I’m afraid.

Mozzarella sticks hollow and dry???? Chips are decent. Chicken doner big portion but just flakes of chicken, not much flavour. Rice is like microwave rice but was only £2. Waste of £20 tbh.

There was something left out of my order I rang to tell them they were very polite and helpful and delivered the missing item before we had finished our meal. The food was lovely, the donor kebab was the best ever Will be ordering again
