The best restaurants in England

We went to try the Afternoon tea here. The food was delicious and great value for money. There was plenty of options across different dietary requirements (veggie, vegan). Julie, the lovely lady that cooks everything herself, couldn’t have done more for us.

The carvery was terrible There were no roast potatoes and they gave us a child's plate because they had no bigger plates left even though there were only 10 people in the room, there was no mashed potatoes so when I asked them for more it came out freezing

Lovely little pub. My favourite pub on the green. Nice craft ales and the owners are down to earth and approachable.

Lovely ambience and a warm welcome on a cold, windy day. Great coffees and two bowls of truly delicious dahl and sourdough toast. My partner also had a flapjack, which he enjoyed. I wanted a cake too, but sadly there were no vegan options. Perhaps another day? We look forward to returning. Thank you

These are hands down the best burgers I've ever had (we visited 3 times during our stay in Newquay). Better than Five Guys. The chips are fantastic too though we found 2 portions of chips between 3 of us was more than enough. Shame there's nothing like this near to where we are but will definitely visit again when we next go to Newquay.

Best spot in down for a bloody good sandwich, staff are an absolute class act dynamic duo, sandwiches are fantastic. Lots of great bread options available. Good prices. All round great lunch spot

Great spot with a wide variety of food! The kebabs are tasty, the pizza has a perfect crispy crust, and the burgers are juicy. Friendly service and quick delivery. Highly recommend!

Picked this Chinese as a takeaway randomly from Google search whilst visiting family locally. Everything was perfect. All the meats tender, ribs soft, and flavours full on. It has that real Chinese flavouring. Highly reccomended. We collected just 20 mins from ordering by phone and it was all ready. A great experience.

Seams like a nice enough place. Clean and tidy, staff are nice enough and helpful. Nice chairs to relax in and chill to some sports and a large(ish) function room. Worth a trip if you're near by

Service certainly does not reflect the price. Do not expect to bring my mother out for Mother’s Day to be spoken rudely. Think they need a change of staff as we won’t be returning due to the rude staff member.

Best chippy in Mossley Hill. Locals don't understand why so many stick to the more well known one on Rose Lane, which is inconsistent at best...do yourself a favour and nip 50 yards around the corner to this gem. Excellent value, super friendly. Loads of loyal regulars and pub goers. Cash only. Easy to call in advance to order. Usually ready in 20 mins or so. Time for a pint in the Rose while you wait 🙂
