OMFG… if you like your Sunday Lunches then come here.. it’s next level lunching.. everything is amazing, fine, delicious meats and a great setting… It’s beaten us, but it was absolutely delicious. The best we have had anywhere

We have been to Neon Fish twice now and the food has been excellent! The Sunday roasts are particularly good. Although slightly expensive, you get a good portion and the food is cooked really well. What makes it a better experience for me is the staff. The main waitress is extremely friendly and helpful, really genuine and caring. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone who likes tasty good food 😊

Genuinely one to think twice about. The food was decent, though overpriced, but the big problem was that the restaurant itself was very cold - uncomfortably so. Most diners were sat in their jackets and jostling for tables next to radiators whenever one became available. The waitress said that it was always cold in the restaurant when it was cold outside - so definitely one to avoid apart from the summer months. As well as the room being cold, and the starter plates too, the red wine was unfortunately very cold as well - like fridge temperature cold. The restaurant should definitely have informed us of the temperature in the restaurant so we could have either dressed appropriately, or thought twice before spending nearly £300 on a meal for 4. Bit of a "brand" fail really. I've awarded 2 stars for the atmosphere as there was some camaraderie amongst the diners laughing and joking about how cold it was.

Seriously impressive. We were a part of 15 people and booked for Sunday roast. The food was delicious, the service was superb. We’ll be coming back to try out fish!

Booked and ended up with sunday lunch my fault as didnt check menu properly and didnt realise no fish on sundays. The lunch was average not a lot of meat although the chicken and beef were both nice. At £25 a head and £10.50 for a glass of wine i was expecting a little better with the vegetables/potatoes. The waiting staff were very nice and gave good service.

Had a wonderful fish feast last night (7th Oct.) The atmosphere was elegant but unpretentious. The service was exemplary and the food amazing! The chef even made a sauce menu adjustment to suit my requests. Overall the whole night was a fantastic experience I would recommend this restaurant for anyone's next special occasion. Neon Fish is on Archer Road in Sheffield. Fish is the speciality here, as the name suggests. Everything was fantastic: great service, relaxed atmosphere and very high quality food and drink. If you are looking for something a little bit special then Neon Fish is worth a visit.

Really disappointed, we’ve had Sunday lunches from this chef for years going back to when he cooked at Middle Hanley. We went last Sunday 2x adults and a 1x child( 3 years old). We were told our daughter needed a kids meal and we’re never told a price or shown a menu. Her KIDS meal had 1 piece of meat, 1 potato, 1 small Yorkshire pudding and 1 sausage. No veg. We were charged £20 for a 3 year old. £20 for ONE COURSE. I was gobsmacked and told the waitress how ridiculous it was. Although portions are big on the platter they DO NOT justify £30 per adult either. It’s £30 for one course even other good restaurants are less than £30 for 3 courses. No wonder it was quiet. Absolutely shocking £20 for a child is shameful.

Simply one of the best meals I’ve had in years. The food, the service, the ambience and setting, absolutely superb. 10/10 for me. Thank you Gracie for looking after us.

Best restaurant in Sheffield!! Could not recommend this restaurant more!!! Definitely the place to go to for a special occasion, the food is lovely especially as the specials change providing plenty of delicious options. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, any issues are sorted professionally and always with a smile! My family love Neon Fish and will continue to dine there, although it isn’t the cheapest if you’re comparing to fast food…you definitely get value for your money!! If you haven’t visited yet, make sure you get booked in!!!! Thank you to the owners for bringing this wonderful restaurant to sheffield x

It's good. If you love fresh seafood (not frozen or heavily marinated/canned/deep fried) you may find the experience not particularly satisfying. The service was superb!

Nice to have fresh food. Not out of a microwave. The food was excellent. Only downside was that I was cold and had to leave my coat on.

Great plaice, lovely codpany a little on the pricey side but overall really nice

We went for their Sunday lunch. Really good to be fair. Veges all spot on. Genuinely crispy tatters, quality cauli cheese and beef (medium to medium rare), pork and chicken. All came in separate dishes to serve so everyone could pick what they want. Good for the kids who don't like everything. Pudding of a little bit of 5 puddings was great. Decent portions, friendly staff. Lots to like.

Well, can I just say thank you for hosting us. We first experienced the culinary mastery of Carey over 20 years ago at Slammers, hubby and I visited,then visited again and again with friends and family. I found Neon Fish by chance, and I recognised some of the dishes. Hubby and I visited tonight, we ordered our faves and scratched that 20 year itch. I put the food in my mouth, closed my eyes and I was straight back to the first time. Thank you again, I really do wish you all the best, very few independent restaurants endure, I honestly hope you guys excel, you deserve to, we will be back, with family and friends just like before 😊

Restaurant was absolutely freezing cold. Food was mediocre at absolute best, and the lobsters were like slightly larger prawns. Overpriced and shockingly middle of the road

Went for Sunday lunch. Pricier than your average Sunday lunch but this is no average Sunday lunch. It was truly amazing. Can't wait to go back and try the seafood menu.

Overpriced and Underwhelming! Was looking forward to dining here for a birthday dinner. Very disappointed. 2 of us had ‘special of the day’, which was Halibut and creamed potato with a butter sauce. It was basically tail end of fish with mash potato in butter! It’s something I’d cook at home. £34 was the extortionate cost. I was expecting something really special. Someone else had the plate of prawns for £28, which was literally just that. They described it as boring and under seasoned. I won’t go on about the other dishes as everyone was seriously underwhelmed and felt ripped off. Definitely wasn’t going to stay for desert. The waitress did come around half way through and asked us if it’s ok? I said, ‘its ok’ and the other 3 people just grimaced. The waitress was more than happy with this response or just not bothered! We didn’t see anyone again until we asked for the bill and said we thought it was underwhelming. Can’t imagine this place will last long. We will not be going again.

Very good indeed. Go for the slammers as starters, basically a selection of the available starters in shot glasses.... They do a daily fish delivery which makes up the bulk of the menu + some other favourites. I had the lobster thermidor & king prawns for main and it was excellent.

Proper top quality seafood. The Pinchos are very generous in size and really tasty. A really good starter option. Some excellent flavour combinations. Lobster thermidor was excellent. Chunky chips are incredible. Wine selection was quite different to the standard with some wines from Slovenia and Austria included. The bottle we chose was really good. Definitely planning a return trip!

Excellent seafood. Fish pintxos were lovely, particularly the scallops with bacon. Oysters and crab were delicious and fresh. Lobster thermidor was meaty and the sauce was perfect. Desserts good. Atmosphere good. Lovely setting. Interesting layout. Garden will be great in the late spring/summer for outdoor dining. Busy busy busy. Book early! Worth the effort and wait.

We went today for a Birthday celebration, this restaurant originally caught our eye because of the seafood, when I was told it was only Sunday lunches, I was a bit disappointed, but thought we would give it a try anyway. There was no disappointment, the food was exquisite, really good homemade Yorkshire puddings, you get a trio of meat and there is lots of it, the beef in particular was superb. The roasting, were delicious, and the desserts, too, would have been nice to be offered a coffee and liquer, but this doesn't detract from the fabulous service, from the waiting staff.

We have been looking for somewhere special to go for Sunday lunch and we have def found it!! The food and service was amazing, and the platter that came out deserves a fanfare!! Ive barely eaten since then!! The puds were fab too. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

This restaurant has moved into Marco at Milanos building when Marcos closed. They have done it up well. The food was delicious so fresh and tasty. Lots of choice.

I rarely give 5 stars these days, but this easily hits that exceptional mark. The food was exquite, the staff friendly and helpful. It deserves French awards - I cannot compliment the chef enough. A memorable meal.

A great place, light and open interior, and a really nice courtyard space - with heaters and blankets. Fresh and well cooked food, and a really interesting menu with great flavours. Starters and main courses were solid and the cheese board was a good size (all local cheeses). ps ignore the red hue on the photo, camera sensitivity.

It's great to have such a fabulous restaurant in Sheffield, the only Fish restaurant I can think of locally and with such fresh produce. We had a table of 8 on Saturday night and couldn't be more impressed, great decor, service, drinks and the food was amazing. Although it is largely fresh fish courses other dishes are available and there is a great choice to choose from. Our party went for shared starters which were some of the tastiest dishes I have tried to mains ranging from Lobster Thermidor, Surf and Turf to Fish and Chips. The whole table thought it was one of the best meals we had tried anywhere and I can't wait to go back.
