The most friendly staff, they’re so kind and lovely to talk to. My food is always lush <3 cant praise them enough, I always end up leaving with a smile!

I don't normally use chip shops, even though I live over the road from Nick's, but from all my years of buying fish and chips etc, I can honestly say this is one of the very best. The large cod, chips, sausage, curry sauce and mushy pees were all top quality and lots of care into packaging. Would love to see a spicy version of their curry sauce and a super spicy onion, but only as I am a spice addict. Every part was cooked to a very high quality, couldn't be better, seriously, as we're talking restaurant quality food, above your average fast food.

Ordered fish and chips online! They were delivered hot and on time, and the food was excellent 👌 the only snag was i asked for salt and vinegar but arrived without any!! But will be definitely ordering again when im in the area. 10 out of 10

I ordered this food to be delivered at 8.00pm for a reason because I knew I wouldn't be home until 7.45pm. I was however home at 7.30 to find a delivery driver on my doorstep and missed calls on my phone from him. Whilst on most occasions it's good to get your food early- not on this occasion!

Not ordered from her foa while as other places are closer but will use them from now on if they are consistent, everything arrived as ordered and hot and good portion size so great value.

dissappointed in the large chips x 2. we usually have 1 x large chips. this time I ordered 2 but no way was that double the amount.

Food as always brilliant but not very hot, surprising as we are not that far away, most likely that the food was on the front seat and not in a warming bag. Not too impressed with the delivery driver smoking in the car that delivers the food ( just eats problem not the restaurants problem).

Best fish and chips in Kettering. Suggestion - offer breaded plaice over Just Eat as you do in the shop.

When placing my order, it said it would arrive between 15-30 minutes however, when my order was placed, it was over an hour! It arrived and tasted like it had all been heated up as it was a bit rubbery and the fish was only just warm ☹️

Delivery time got changed twice

the regular cod was missing from the order. very disappointing

First came up as 17:55 but ended up after 6:30 - order placed at 5:30 ! Good great but not the first time delivery has taken longer than it should

The food from here, as usual, is 2nd to none, but the competence of the delivery drivers is going from bad to worse, 1. They can’t use their satnav to find you, 2 when they phone you they can’t be understood and can’t understand simple instructions. Just eat need to sort this out before places like this start to lose customers or they will end up having to replace cold meals!!!

Food is always fab but tonight very late even after we specified at time and food was cold ! Such a shame as use these all the time and always spot on 👍 delivery driver was very rude !!

Large Chips 800g, large Cod 400g, usual Nick’s quality, would have liked a bit more fish, like it used to be 800g-1100g, but overfishing has taken its toll and so has inflation. Still the best chippy in Kettering. Keep it up lads.

Consistently the best Fish and Chips in Kettering, Fish, chips and sides were all piping hot and delicious. Highly recommend.

Despite the driver calling several times and us watching the tracking and giving him clear directions he said it was “impossible” that was the only English that he spoke! When it finally arrived it was cold so we refused it. We made contact with the restaurant who sent a new order out and was delivered within 10 mins. Drivers need to not only be able to speak English but understand English. When the daughter of the restaurant delivered she said the order hadn’t been returned to the restauran

Food excellent as usual, but when you have the delivery address including post code and the driver then phones you up for directions it makes you wonder how they get the job delivering!!!

Only thing is second time that we've ordered and twice has been delivered to our neighbours either side. Delivery driver's need to check house number please.

Delivery requested for 17:45. After calling the shop twice and being told that there were no drivers available we collected the order at around 18:50. The shop was very apologetic but said it was out of their hands as Just Eat didn’t have any couriers available. Food was excellent.

Fish and chips consistently excellent at Nick's. Always hot and fresh and the portions are more than ample. Wouldn't go anywhere else when I'm in Kettering.

The opening times and website needs to be updated. I walked up to the place because it says it was open. When I got there, it was not opened. This was at 5.15pm.

Nicks is using 1st class, last night was a major let down. Pie was cold and the batter on the fish was really stodgy with a very bland taste.

The fish was lovely and crispy. Everything else was nice but the chips could of been cooked a bit longer as they were a bit hard still.

Courier just briefly rang the doorbell and didnt wait for me to answer it just left the food on the dooorstep. I do not think this is acceptable. I have been using just eat for a while now and most of the time the couriers that you use are far more customer friendly they at least wait for me to answer the door.
