The best restaurants in England

This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I will recommend this place to everyone if you want a good Caribbean dish.

Wonderful Pub Restaurant with Excellent Service & Rich Menu Choice coupled with Great Wines!

Great place for breakfast. There was so much food we could barely get it on the table! Generous portions and great quality full English breakfast. Set us up for a day of sightseeing 👌🏻

Sadly, this restaurant has had to close permanently. A victim of the pandemic and cost of living hike.

Has been a chippy I used from being a small boy now nearly 50 still 1 of the best sadly I live in Scotland now but had to visit on a recent trip south

I ordered mussels, Sunday roast, and fries. The mussels were so delicious! The creamy sauce was so good I wanted to drink it as it was. The Sunday roast had moist roast beef and was very filling.🙆‍♀️It's best with horseradish. I was recommended fries, so I ordered them, but they were very delicious, but the portions were too large. If you're going with two people, the Sunday roast and mussels might be just right. It's in a quiet residential area, and the atmosphere is nice, so I recommend it.

Lovely meal at this restaurant. Having no idea of what to order we chose the set meal B. Really couldn’t fault it absolutely delicious. The food was served quickly and very well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Already planning a return visit.

Don't let the overall review fool you . I came here for a lunch at 14.30pm. I ordered kebab meat with chips in a tray. The food was not only cold but also tasteless. It cost me 8 pound and the portion was small. The food was obviously last nights leftovers. I won't return again. Absolutely disgusting. Shop also looks unclean. 2/10

It's nice to receive fabulous customer service and a very high standard of food.

Lovely interiors, good meal selection on the menu. Food was alright, nothing special. Tea was served the most strangest way I have ever seen. Service was passive-aggressive, All in all, was alright but I don't see a reason to be back.

If you're planning a nice quiet , enjoyable meal, don't bother! The young locals are so loud with no thoughts for other customers. Way too many dogs (and I like dogs but the place stinks) and got boxed in in car park by another thoughtless person. Saying that, the staff were friendly and the food was okay for the price.
