The best restaurants in England

Decent old school boozer that sits opposite Hanley Bus Station. I went to meet up with a couple of the resident DJs (yes there's a little radio studio upstairs) who are part of a punk band called The Skeptix. Lovely vibe to the place, shame the radio show didn't happen, but that's not a reflection on the pub.

A local pub with a pool table a big screen tv. It's in a residential area. We just had a couple of early evening drinks, I had the guest beer which was a very tasty Golden Ale and the house Malbec was very good too. The log burner was just what was needed on a very cold night. The was no food being served, but the friendly barman helpfully recommended a couple of restaurants very nearby. We went one and his recommendation was spot on. I'd go back when back in Durham

Popped in to get a too good to go bag/box. Such a bargain if you can catch one do it 👌

Not Kendricks now. Trattoria Spaggia. Great food and wine with home made artisan pasta. Lovely staff with friendly service. I'm guessing these people are new to running a restaurant but they are doing a great job already. Muscles as the spacial starter were fantastic 👏

First time we experienced this chip shop tonight and it was so good. Very busy but despite that, very fast service and everything was amazing. I was in the area at lunch time today and the smell made me want to come back for Saturday night dinner! We live in Glen Parva but our local isn't anywhere near the quality of this place. Good value for money too !

Very unfriendly staff . Left without sitting down . Found a gem of a dog cafe friendly place 5 minutes away : the Edge Eatery where not only staff was super nice, place was busy and food was delicious !

One of the best pubs in bath! Such a warm atmosphere, the owner mick is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home, I would highly recommend!

The worst Pizza. I don't recommend eating pizza here.

Sunday roast was amazing ! It was my first but definitely won’t be my last ! Gem of a place Landlord and landlady are lovely and friendly Prices are incredible

Me and my partner booked here for the Mexican night. We've never experienced such fresh authentic food so full of flavour. Very generous portions too. We felt like we were on holiday and are thrilled to have experienced this hidden gem and hope to book up again Hats off to the chef a pleasure to meet her well done 🇲🇽 😋

Great pub and friendly staff. Always worth popping in.

Love this place, stayed when visiting the castle and everything was brilliant. Food was excellent and hosts really lovely. Will definitely be back soon
