Wonderful venue fantastic service and food was excellent

We,ve been using the coach and horses since may 2024. It's the best pub in the tything worcester. The bar staff Jamie, Meg and Pete are so happy and friendly 😀. The landlord and landlady Sean and Jean look after there locals and customers from near and far. The pub is clean and tidy. There's always something on, ether live music, Drag Queens dj's, karaoke, charity events darts, also they've started doing food .I haven't tried any yet, it looks delicious though 😋. A big bonus it's dog friendly. Lots of different ales, cider and larger to try. If you're looking for a fun weekend or quiet drink in the week the coach and horses is the place to go . First visit — brilliant chap at the bar, beautiful decor, dog friendly and good beer. I think we may have found our new neighborhood pub!

Such a lovely freindly welcoming pub, the staff are absolutely lovely. Dog freindly which is a huge bonus. Very relaxed atmosphere for pooches, which suits my dog as she's quite nervous but she can't wait to get through the door any say hello to everyone. Would be great to see a jar of dog treats on the bar 😉 Had food here for the first time on Sunday 11th August 2024 and I have to say I was impressed, the Sunday lunch rolls are so tasty, lovely fresh rolls with all the trimmings, cooked perfectly served with a pot of really tasty gravy. Absolutely delicious, great portion size, priced very reasonably. The tything strip is one of my favourite places to drink and the Coach definitely takes first place. Great to see they are doing lots of new things, bands, drag nights, quiz nights etc. Definitely worth a visit, I'll be back without a doubt ❤️

Exceptional customer service this afternoon, very warm and welcoming barman. Very clean and great decor! Lovely touch in the ladies toilets with products. Great selection of drinks and good value. Returned later in the evening and I can see why The Feathers pub was practically empty and why this pub was rammed.

Knew it wouldn’t be long before it got back to its old ways. Staff very rude and scary. Felt very intimated … please do not take your children or dogs here, very unwelcoming 😢 bar maid was too busy entertaining the riff raff

Has recently been taken over, really enjoying having a drink back here again, very clean pub and a good selection of drinks. Sean and Jean have been really welcoming

Always been a pleasant place to pop into for a pint, but since switching to spirits & mixers I don't think I'll bother any more when they want £8.15 for a double Jameson & postmix

Great little pub to spend time with people. Very chill inside. The landlords are always lovely and attentive to us. I love coming here every now and again for a drink. There's a jukebox too so you can change the music to whatever you want which is good. Personally haven't used it bevause I'm scared but the people I go with always use it! Outdoor seating if you get too hot or want a smoke. The toilets are nice and clean all the time and are very accessible. Just round the corner by the back.

The larger in here is amazing. Best pint in Worcester. Service is fantastic, they can't help you enough. It's like a home from home. Always made to feel welcome. Can't fault this place. 5 stars all round.

A really nice little pub with swing doors as you enter. The beer selection needs work but the barman was friendly and the beer was well kept.

I have been here a couple of times for the open mike nights . A nice small welcoming pub .

Popped in for a beer with friends. Decided to have food whilst there and managed to get a table, so the staff were most accommodating. The food was very good - I had the Diablo burger; nice kick to it. But others agreed their food was great too. Most definitely recommended and will happily return should the opportunity arise again.

Another brilliant pub in Worcester, yes there are lots if great pubs in Worcester. Has a free Jukebox a few Ales as well as Old Moat Cider and lagers. The landlady is brilliant and chatty really makes you feel like a local for sure. Personally i would prefer a better ale choice but that is a personal thing that does not impact the review because everything in here is great. They have live music on too on various nights. Worth seeking it out when you are in Worcester.

You lost 2 new local customers today congratulations! Before you say otherwise I wanted to go to the toilet before buying a drink I'm not going to order then leave my drink unattended! The staff were not amicable I don't know how you can say that when cctv doesn't have audio! The woman was on her phone not behind the bar but sat in front of it drinking and not paying any attention... how unprofessional is that in itself perhaps you should mention you witnessed that on your cctv! She didn't even bother to get up!

Exact atmosphere and feel to a pub like so many should be still these days. Thoroughly enjoyable experience from feeling very welcomed from owners and customers within the pub to the tasteful delights being served on tap. I’m in my late 30s now and the last time I had a good session on some Banks beer was quite some time back now but when I find a place, just like my old man, we have to savour the moment. I’m a Banks man just like my Dad and the pints of Banks Amber easily got polished off on my visit with my mates thinking I was on some hidden mission. Those pints were sublime and will most certainly be visiting the establishment more often for the great friendly pub atmosphere to the succulent beers on offer. Cheers, will be visiting soon. ST

Great NYE party. Much better to have a disco than a live band. We could still hear each other and chat. Having a disco meant a wider spectrum of music to suit all tastes. Friendly atmosphere and owners and staff worked tirelessly! Thank you and looking forward to next year's do already.

Lovely place. My friend and I stopped for a pint. Unfortunately my card didn't work. We offered to give the 2 beers back . Bar Lady said that it wasn't a problem. We told her we'd come back and pay later ( which we did) and she was very understanding. Great pub and service.

Nice place but a bit on the pricy side

Not quite sure. Bad start when ordering drinks server who I think was the landlady was talking to other person the whole time. Drinks not bad and gents toilet decor top notch (apart from the loose tap). Good music but no sole. A grower me thinks

New landlords Louise and James are making a great job since taking over the helm at the end of last year.Friendly genuine couple that make you feel welcome in unpretentious surroundings with excellent beers and reasonable prices.....and the best pickled eggs!

If I could have given 6 stars, I would. An excellent Sunday lunch. Plentiful, tasty and well presented. Lots of well-cooked vegetables and succulent chicken. Really good prices for the food and the wine. Lovely, welcoming staff. Highly recommended. Probably one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had, and I've had a few !!

Great place, great staff, reasonably priced beer and pork pies on the counter. What's not to like? Go and support Rowena and have a pint.

Went for food one evening having checked the website that they serve food, only to find that they weren't serving. It wasn't clear if that was just for that night or if they no longer did food. We left and went elsewhere. There were also loads of Sky Sports banners, so not somewhere I'd want to go on a match night.

Under new management by Rowena (and her side kick Butch ,the adorable little old-boy dog ) who has lifted the place in just a couple of weeks. As usual the Sunday roast , which Rowena perfects herself, was divine and plentiful and I noticed the drinks have got a bit cheaper too. The staff are attentive and friendly even though they are busy. Well done Rowena & Co! 👍👍

Love this place. One of the must visits on the tything run.

I come here most weekends for the roast and a couple of drinks. The roast is GORGEOUS and plentiful. The most divine gravy I have ever tasted. Then there are the vegetables which are cooked to perfection and are very tasty. The staff are always friendly and smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Rowena and Sarah are amazing. The other new member of staff is Butch. He’s there to be admired.... he is the new pub dog! He’s a small, old boy but gosh, I seriously love him. He keeps an eye on the place. He’s good with other dogs that visit. This place is well worth a visit; I love it here.

I go in with my friends and family, wonderful relaxed atmosphere, always laughter!! Extremely good value for money and the food is something else!! The staff are wonderful, always helpful welcoming and very accommodating! Always see regular faces in there which is always a good sign! Couldn't recommend it more!!

the meals were great the best I had a veggie option great choice of vegetables and the apple crumble and cream mouth watering lovely. Staff were so helpful and hard working making sure that our meals and service were great. Also they smiled which gave us the whole evening special. The waitress also cut the cake and handed out slices. This is a made it such a wonderful time. Well done. We had a small room at the back of the Coach and Horses but was so accommodating as tables were put away for dancing.

He's a fantastic polish beer on draught. Hope this can continue after Brexit but fear it will be too expensive due to the tariffs. Get it while you can

Great little pub... friendly staff...mixture of locals and passers by. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere .Do a good Sunday lunch and evening food.what I've tried looked and tasted lovely.also do a selection of cold pies on the bar counter. Have an open fire too. Selection of lager ,ciders and ales.Though I'd like to see an extra or alternative craft ale.

My second visit and it didn't disappoint. Visited with a large group of family & friends (20+) and the organisation was perfect. Every meal that came out was piping hot despite the large group. I had the duck rolls to start, beautifully presented and so tasty. Then the chicken for main with delicious fondant potatoes, braised cabbage and veg. And the chocolate ganache to finish which was to die for, chocolate and raspberry heaven (nobody could even speak whilst eating it). My partner had the smoked salmon, the beef main which had brisket and a perfectly cooked fillet and the Christmas pudding to finish which had a flavour sensation brandy panna cotta. This place is just ridiculously good. I can't fault it at all. Dan and the team are doing an amazing job.
