Love this place, stayed when visiting the castle and everything was brilliant. Food was excellent and hosts really lovely. Will definitely be back soon

This isn't a pub any more, they've changed it to a smart restaurant and B&B. We went for dinner and I had the salmon and prawn linguine and sticky toffee pudding. Both absolutely superb - this is not really gastropub food, it's more of a fancy restaurant vibe, and the food was delicious. Not an unreasonable price at all given the high quality. The restaurant has a quiet vibe and is beautifully decorated, but it's definitely not casual dining and it's not at all geared towards young children. The beer selection was small but perfectly good; I think it's far more focussed on wine. Good place for a special occasion. Service was really polite and friendly and attentive. Can highly recommend.

Just had a 2 night stay here with in-laws. We all enjoyed our stay here and it was very convenient for all the places we wanted to visit. Made to feel very welcome and all the meals were amazing. Thank you Caroline

We had a very nice evening meal here whilst staying at Hever Castle. The food was tasty and plentiful, the service friendly and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed. It's about a 5 minute drive, wouldn't walk it as it's down unlit, unpaved country lanes. Recommend eating here.

A Very Special place.... Situated about 10 minutes from The Beautiful Hever Castle and Gardens in the Garden of England ( Kent) this Restaurant with Rooms is a Superb Place to Enjoy a Very relaxing Short Break...Beautifully presented Rooms and Superb Food.... I would Highly Recommend The Greyhound...near Hever... Food presentation is Very Good... All Beautifully Cooked... Delicious 😋 Breakfasts... and lots of places to visit... Thank you Caroline... 😊

Super friendly cafe, and I love that they grilled my panini sans oil or butter, which adds so many unnecessary calories. I got the Medford, which was chicken, pesto, romaine, cheese, and tomato, it was on a multigrain bread I think. It wasn’t the best sandwich ever but it was good and decently healthy. I also got a hibiscus tea, which was a brand I hadn’t seen before (Garden Andes), and a breakfast croissant sandwich and muffin to go. I didn’t like the muffin but the breakfast sandwich was quite yummy. They also have a lot of chocolates and gave samples! There are stairs. I did not see an alternative to the stairs.

8 Market SquareMy second time eating here and what a disappointment. The food looked great but lacked seasoning and flavour. They had a table of 13 in for lunch and the kitchen seemed unable to cope with the service as our food took ages and was not of a standard that you would expect at the price that they charge. The head waiter is full of chit chat when you arrive but when you complain about the quality of the food or the speed of service he simply dismisses you and is totally uninterested. The fish course was like warm and lacked flavour. They add 12.5% service to the bill for poor food and poor service. I was not convinced the first time I ate here but after the second time it will define the last time. Really disappointing all round.

18A-18B Market SquareGreat location tucked away off mkt square , great space , great atmosphere even early on in the evening had a great buzz. All staff superb , attentive and informed . We asked for a slight variation from the menu and were accommodated immediately. Food was fresh and delicious. Reasonable pricing . Really top spot will be back and will encourage others to visit . Please don’t change what you have it really hits the mark .
