Gorgeus little pleace for breakfast and coffee, so nice people works there too. Highly recommand for tourist to feel that English Breakfast vibe.

We have been in London for 5 days so far and have eaten here 3 times. I'm a very fussy eater and this place is just awesome. The staff are very helpful and always friendly. We will be eating breakfast there again today...delicious 😋

What a great cafe! Lovely proper homemade food. Had tasty shepherd's pie with beautifully cooked cabbage and carrots. We'll worth a visit if you like 'proper' food.

Loved it. This is a really nice family run cafe. Nothing fancy, just solid food served with care, courtesy and a smile. Nice atmosphere and a spotless kitchen. I had a giant jacket potato for £7 but they do good burgers, all day breakfasts, omelettes and a few specials. All portions are man sized!! Plus they don't charge service. Definitely worth a visit if you want a simple home cooked meal.

Asked for 4 slices of toast then the lady then charged me £5 for it and said that's the correct price. Then gave me toast with peanut butter, which I'm allergic to nuts

Absolutely loved this place. Found it by chance, early in the morning so not many people around but this place was really busy - immediately a good sign. Staff were super friendly, service rapid and attentive, food excellent and very reasonably priced. We had the full English breakfast which was big, hot, tasty and perfectly cooked.

I had a fantastic breakfast here! The plate came with delicious beans, sausages, tomatoes, and a perfectly cooked fried egg. To top it all off, the cappuccino was absolutely superb—one of the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommended!

This place is super cute and the quality of the food and service is impeccable. It has such a lovely family feel to the place and even though I got takeaway food I still felt the atmosphere of the venue. The staff are really welcoming and down to earth.

It was a complete surprise to discover an old style working man's cafe in central London. I went around 10:00 am on a weekend morning.The cafe was crowded with tall burly men wearing shorts, boots and Tee Shirts bearing the names and logos of their employers. A steady stream of eggs, bacon, toast etc. emerged from the kitchen. I had the veggie brek which was excellent with the exception of the mushrooms which were clearly not fresh. In addition to the list of breakfast options, other meal options such as grilled lamb, spaghetti, shepherds pie etc. were available. Go here for excellent cheap food, especially fry ups. Not really a date venue

I can't even begin to express how much I would love to give those Benedict eggs a perfect 5/5 simply for the sheer amount of veggies that come on the side. The portions are incredibly generous and the food is absolutely delicious.

I ordered a full English breakfast and it was exactly what you'd expect: perfection! Staff were approachable and very lovely! Atmosphere was calm and homely. Would highly recommend!

Saw a lady in the kitchen pick up a couple mushrooms she dropped on the floor and put them back in the mushroom box for using later. Box was a plastic crate, also stored on the floor. What other bad practises must be happening?

Been eating here for the last 4 months, a real gem. Can get a lovely breakfast with tea for 8 quid. Food arrives very quickly, perfectly cooked. Comfortable inside, lots of tables and staff are friendly. You will see a lot of emergency services workers going here as they know the local area and the quality places. But also a lot of professional people use it too (close to Inns of Court etc.)

Exceptional caff. Excellent service and generous portions - the jackets come loaded with the toppings so you don’t find yourself eating dry plain potato like in so many gaffs. Lovely cosy seating area downstairs if it’s full in the main area.

15 minute wait and £5.50 for 2 bacon and 1 cheap sausage thinly sliced and burnt to a crisp in a stale baguette

This is a so-called "greasy spoon" restaurant that is open from early in the morning (6:30!) until around noon. When I went for breakfast, many of the tables were occupied by groups of large-looking white men with downtown accents wearing fluorescent vests over their work clothes, who seemed to be stopping by to eat before work. It's not very fashionable, but in a sense it gives you a feel of the good old England. The menu includes a British breakfast set as shown in the photo (so-called "fry-up", which I don't like so I don't have baked beans), as well as other British dishes such as shepherd's pie and steak and kidney pie. You can also eat hamburgers, spaghetti, salads, etc. Naturally, the oil is harsh, so please be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. Recommended for those looking for a ``proper British breakfast'' that is no longer available at hotels, which are now buffets.

Eaten here on numerous occasions foods OK, but unfortunately, the menu does not reflect the meals offered, which is very misleading the food itself is OK nothing exceptional, good service, I wouldn't rush back

Cute art on milk coffee haha Regency Cafe is probably famous, but if you've visited once and want to have an English breakfast, this is the place to go. It's slices, but the other toast options are cold bread, so keep that in mind! It's good because they give you mushrooms and it's plentiful.

Went today for some breakfast with our daughter, very tasty food and big portions, staff friendly and welcoming, I asked for no beans on my breakfast and was offered an alternative. Would recommend and return when we're in London again.

Tried Cheese onion and tomatoe omelette with chips, beans 2 bread and butter with a tea. 2 months ago £8.50, 1 month ago £10.00 today £13.50 for a workman breakfast. They make the prices up weekly. WILL NEVER GO BACK stay away if you want to be ripped off.

super kind and friendly staff who gave me tea and water after i had a cycling accident right outside their shop. definitely coming back to buy tea and coffee and give them my custom, after scaring their patrons this morning with my crying and constant apologising at empty air first thing in the morning!!

They have a substantial menu although the hotplate is shared with meat cooking. Choice is excellent and so is the coffee

Too few of these places left. I had brunch a couple of time and everything about it was excellent especially the quality of the food, the staff and the service. The place is spotlessly clean and prices are very reasonable for the location. I was on my own each time (as a single woman) and felt very comfortable. I hope this family business continues for a very long time to come - you're providing an excellent service to your customers.

Went to Andrew for a brunch over the weekend. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff super friendly. Delicious tea, tasty baked beans, and leaky yolk! 😋

Great breakfast and very good prices but they brought the wrong coffee (ordered a mocha and got a cappuccino) and we ordered a tap water which never arrived. Also, they list their veggie options as “100% vegan” but they have eggs and cheese in them (I guess you can remove these to make them vegan idk? Wouldn’t trust they used vegan butter). So maybe not brilliant with dietary requirements but the food we got was brilliant.

One month at least come 4 or 5 times with my boyfriend. Really good place to have a nice brunch. Compare with nowadays many restaurant over price and worse taste. Andrew like the family kitchen. I like the environment too simple and clean! I gonna take my mom to visit! 🍽️

We happened upon a little restaurant on the corner of Grays Inn Road and Northington Street, called Andrews Cafe. From the moment we walked in as the owner's son held the door open for us, I loved the place and can easily say it is my favorite in London so far. The mom and pop establishments hold a place near and dear to my heart since they remind me of my childhood spent in my family's restaurant. I immediately noticed the new flooring and fresh artwork, along with the cleanliness of the place. I made my way to use the facilities in the basement and found everything spotless and clean, smelling of bleach. The bathrooms looked like they were recently updated with new tile. The menu choices were many with specials boards, a menu over the open kitchen and an extensive printed menu at the table. I haven't had shepard's pie yet and that was at the top of the special's board so it was an easy choice for me. It was a very generous portion of the pie with a very healthy serving of delicious fresh vegetables. My husband very much enjoyed his burger and fries. There are many more items on the menu that I would like to go back to try. When we walked in, we didn't realize they would be closing at 2:00 p.m. We were welcomed in at 1:53 p.m. without hesitation. I know how it is at the end of the day, when you just want to get home, but at no time did we feel rushed out of the restaurant. In fact, we bantered with the children of the owner as they started their end of day chores.

Very authentic restaurant. Fast service and tasty food. And overall very good value! Was looking for a cheap full English breakfast and wasn’t disappointed (under 10£ for a full set with coffee)

6:05am departure from Aberdeen, yes really!, so more than ready for something substantial by the time we'd got to Bloomsbury & dropped our bags off. Came across this place by chance & it looked just the ticket - my friend had a cheese omelette & chips (served on a dinner place &the omelette covered half the plate!) & a mug of tea, I had two poached eggs on toast & coffee - total around £14 - we were convinced they'd made a mistake - freshly cooked to order, at that price?! Mix of customers - business people, tourists, guys in hi-vis & hardhats -lovely smiley cooks & servers - definitely on our 'come back to' list for our London trip next Nov/Dec.

Definitely one of the best greasy spoon cafe's in London.. great spot for a traditional old fashioned fry up.. reasonable prices too.. always visit whenever I'm around the City.

I used to go to Andrew's at its original site when I worked at ITN. The place was buzzing with locals and rarely empty. Glad to see that after all the years that have passed it's still serving an excellent Full English at a reasonable price, with quick and friendly service. The quality of food is good and the portions are generous. Where a lot of places charge over the odds for a breakfast that isn't quite right or tweaked to serve an audience with an eye on Instagram first, this is just good honest food. Glad to see it's exactly as I remembered!

They asked me to have a seat outside but then no one showed up to my table after 15 mins! Boo

Recently ordered for 3 Andrew’s breakfast which was supposed to come with 3 cups of coffee/tea, they forgot to add it. Complained to them 4days later, the staff were rude and hostile saying there was nothing they could do about it. If they had apologised first, admitted their mistake and proffered a solution, I would have let it go, it’s the principle. Make sure you check your orders otherwise they’ll tell you the same and charge you for it. Mind you I’m a regular customer but this is the last time I will patronise them!

Regular cafe near To work , the burgers are the best especially half pounder good value with a proper cuppa tea , friendly service you won’t find better in London
