Nice food, but definitely smaller portions when you order for delivery instead of going in and the cost is getting a bit much. About £25 for medium cod, large chips, burger and some sauce. The extra fees on top pushing it to near £30…..

ordered at 19.30, order arrived at 22.00! called restaurant who explained the just eat driver had not turned up. this is an unacceptable service, too late to be eating our meal

The driver was rude and insisted on a code which I’ve never been asked for before, he would not leave the doorstep. I had to close the door in his face. His English was very poor.

1st time ordering here the fish was a nice size for large and good value considering the prices nowadays. The fish was skinless which I prefer with a lovely crispy batter but not a thick heavy batter which was lovely. The chips was a good quality potatoes, nice thickness on chips and cooked till golden. Crispy on outside fluffy on inside and a good size portion for large. All was boxed individually which was convenient and were cooked in lovely clean oil Will be ordering again in the future.

I have an obsession with this place! When I was little my local fish and chip shop used to make something a certain way and I've never been able to find it since — until i ordered from here. Breaks my heart when it's unavailable it's that good! Highly recommend the food here :D

Average food. Both fish and Chips were not crispy enough and soggy. Chips were undercooked. Fish cake was awful and basically frozen and tasted like Icelands. Expensive too, small fish and small cartons of curry

Not as nice as usual. Normal I pick up and am always happy but maybe because of delivery the food wasn't hot, chips bit dry. I won't get it delivered again. Very tasty normally.

amazing food. only issue we ordered 2 cod and chips and they came 2 cod in 1 box and all chips on other, was difficult to remove 1 cod from the box. woild have been easier to have 1cod and chips on each. however it was a good portion and very tasty

Rude people that work in the store, very uncomfortable atmosphere, always being stared at, when asking about portion sizes and about deals I got told no nothing cannot do under any circumstances, also you have to spend at least £5 on card even if u want just a portion of chips. You can’t have

Ordered based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and do not regret. Concur with the consensus here. Not cheap, though, nearly 20£ for a takeaway large Fish & chips is on the steep side! But it is enough for two people, realistically.

£10 for half of a small cod fillet cut lengthways in soggy batter, plus £4 for a small amount of chips. This place used to be okay but it seems to have taken a nose dive

Ashamed to say that this was my first visit, despite this shop being local to me. Definitely won't be the last though - fish was freshly battered & fried & the chips were lovely too. Just what we needed after a long week at work! Nice food, clean place & friendly, welcoming staff.

Fish was nice but not hot, disappointing

Food was cooked really well and arrived hot. Ordered a small chips and you do get quite a lot, my fish was a bit smaller than i was expecting but again was cooked brilliant. Would recommend for the quality of the food.

The amount of money you pay for the fish and it’s always so small and soggy :( Shame. If it’s going to be expensive you expect better quality.
