Absolutely lovely night lovely food brilliant staff very friendly thank you

This is a lovely restaurant in Sidcup high street. The food was delicious. I had chicken with rice and salad, I was a bit worried it might be dry but definitely not it was the opposite in fact I would say one of the best chicken dishes I have had. The owner and her mother were absolutely lovely, they couldn’t do enough for us. The atmosphere although not very busy that night was really welcoming and enjoyable in fact they put music on so we could have a dance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant in Sidcup.

As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly welcomed by Saffa, the head chef. We were invited to sit and Saffa explained that he was a one man band this service, as his front of house staff member was unfortunately unwell. He apologised profusely in advance for any delay - but he need not have done so, as every dish was prepared and delivered in a perfectly timely manner, we didn’t wait for any longer than one would expect. We were brought water and glasses and given a wine list and menus. There is a good selection of Mediterranean and classic dishes available on the dinner menu, from steak and fish to vegetarian moussaka. The bar and wine list are not huge, but there’s certainly something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. We decided on a nice bottle of pinot grigio blush to accompany our meal. For our starters, we enjoyed salt and pepper squid and grilled halloumi with sausage, both dishes were perfectly cooked and delicious. For the main event, I chose the Seafood spaghetti, which was absolutely perfect, packed with prawns, clams and mussels and coated in a homemade spicy tomato sauce, it’s a real winner and I highly recommend it. My partner had a lamb shish, which looked lovely and he said it was cooked perfectly and full of flavour with a nice char on the lamb - the sides were tasty too and the presentation was excellent (he did admit to a bit of plate envy after tasting my meal though, as the sauce was so good). Once we had finished, we were asked if we’d like a dessert recommendation and in all honesty, I would have loved to try their desserts, but we were both stuffed! I will be sure to save space for dessert next time though. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed and welcoming, the dining room is open and comfortable, it’s clear that the seating can be arranged to accommodate larger groups when needed. There was music playing, which was to our taste and it was at a level where you could converse easily. We had the pleasure of chatting with Saffa after we ate and actually didn’t realise that Șenay has been open for as long as it has -We are sorry we hadn’t found it sooner! Saffa is a chef with considerable experience and a real love of food. He takes great pride in producing delicious, homemade dishes and creating a varied and balanced menu for the patrons. His passion is clear when you speak with him - it was a real pleasure. We noticed that Șenay are also open for lunch between 12-5pm, when you can take advantage of a 2 or 3 course set menu, should you wish. Saffa recommended we come and try their Sunday roast and on the basis of the quality of our meal and the fact they can accommodate allergies, we booked up there and then. We had a wonderful experience and a lovely date night dinner at Șenay and would like to thank Saffa, for his warm welcome, his hospitality, conversation and of course his delicious food! We highly recommend Șenay, delicious food, locally and at a very reasonable price. I’m looking forward to reviewing them again after our Sunday roast…..watch this space!

Lovely restaurant. Clean, decorated beautifully, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following week. Now looking forward to bringing all our family along for our daughter's bday. I'm sure they'll enjoy their meal as much as we did. Would highly recommend.

We booked the restaurant for a family party and they provided a three course set menu for us. The food was great and they were attentive about allergies within the party. As it was a special occasion they even provided a singer which was great fun. The tables were beautifully decorated and the whole team put a lot of effort in. Thank you, Fralli we will be back

1st time in a long time here. It was quiet for a Saturday but the service was excellent. Very good value for money, and the food was excellent. Could do with a bigger choice of beers. Will definitely be returning.

Not been here for over a year, and WOW what a difference, more modern in the decor and the menu ! Lovely friendly staff, and the food was lovely, starter of Halloumi and Turkish sausage was really good, followed by a really nicely flavoured steak for me, Pan fired Sea bass for my wife, both of which were delicious.

Unassuming little restaurant on the high st in Sidcup. Bright and modern decor with amazing freshly cooked home made food where the flavours blend and elevate each dish. Trio appetiser of hummus,Tzatzaki and taramasalata was delicious. I usually only like the hummus but each of the others was so fresh and light it made my tastebuds sing. As did the simple salads: a green salad with a generous handful of finely chopped fresh parsley to elevate it and a smattering of warm red onion cooled by the addition of cucumber cubes. A Turkish potato salad was served warm with a lovely garlicky dressing of light olive oil and parsley and the tease of a very little red onion that tickled my taste buds. Lamb kofta was fresh and juicy and mouth watering. Chicken shiesh was freshly marinated, rolled in a delicate spice and cooked through but soft. I had the most amazing grilled chicken wings. I was not expecting the wonderfully freshly grilled wings that had a lovely charcoal-y herbed and spiced crust. The chef kindly shared a hot sauce for dipping which was very More-ish. All in all a fantastic culinary experience. Highly recommend. Note: three of us ate well, a combination of man dishes, side and starters for under £60.

New management and refreshed decor and menu since my last visit over a year ago. And the difference is good, very good ! Great service, lovely food, friendly staff and not over priced either. Very quiet for a Saturday night, which suited us just fine, don’t be put off if it’s quiet, everyone else is missing out, go and enjoy 👍🏻

Very disappointed . The meal was poor and overpriced . Portions not good. Charged £1.99 for an extra half a pitta bread. Did not realise under new ownership. Never again. Only couple in there.

I must say what an amazing family run restaurant.. the food is absolutely amazing. So much taste 😋 the staff were amazingly kind and helpful. Especially our waitress, lovely young girl who was definitely got a lot of potential!! Pricing is also very reasonable and lots too choose from 😊 Amazing restaurant definitely will be back soon..!

We went here on a Sunday great menu lots of choice. To start I had mushroom soup best mushroom soup I’ve had, followed by a roast and wow I dnt know about you but when I have a roast dinner in carvery or pubs it’s so dry and no flavour. You will not be disappointed here it was delicious right amount of gravy and roast potatoes were Devine. Perfect place for family’s couples or a group meal out, children's changing facilities VERY clean. I’m a big desert person I had the syrup sponge it was beautiful. Would deffo recommend if your a foodie like me. We will be visiting again very soon thank you to the new management doing a fab job

Had a lovely meal here Friday. Food was perfect. Staff was amazing. Loved the new management. Will definitely be returning again soon! Only downfall was the people dinning further up from us as they was so drunk, loud, clicking fingers to get more wine. Then trying everything to get money off the bill. (Going by the picture I'm pretty sure it was luke chesher who has left a bad review on this lovely place) How ever that wasn't on Frali so you will still get 5 stars from us. See you again soon 😊

Used to be great but since change of ownership, absolutely horrible. Forgot to serve us our desert and refused to take it off the bill because it was part of a 'set menu' as if it was our fault for not receiving our third course... Have been many times before but unfortunately never again. Avoid at all costs unless you fancy paying for a meal you won't receive.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Absolutely awful management now.

What a superb little venue. Had the Friday special being an African dish of chicken curry. Different African dish each Friday. Very well priced. First class service.

Party of 6 and was our first time eating at Frali. I chose from the set menu and the food was great. The staff/owners were very friendly. As it was a Tuesday evening it was quiet so I can't speak of the atmosphere but my party all agreed we will return.

Madonna night, we had a ladies night out. The food was very good as was the entertainment. Rather a lot of wine was consumed. The waiting staff were excellent and really looked after us.

Great find in Sidcup. We had dinner here on a week day back in January. Service was great. Reasonable prices and portion sizes. Would definitely come back again!

Took my mother for her birthday. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The deep fried Brie my mother had to start was apparently delicious and a generous portion. I had the avocado and huge prawns to start which were perfect. We both chose pasta for main and the portions were plentiful. The pawn tagliatelle was so tasty with so many king prawns. We forced ourselves to squeeze in dessert of warm chocolate cake and ice cream. We recommend you try this lovely restaurant. We will return.

My first visit. It was a Sunday lunch. Friend had the roast which he enjoyed. Had asked for the beef to be rare and was pleased with the result. I had sea bass. Which I also enjoyed. Thought the2 menus were resonably priced. Both offered choice of 2 or 3 courses. Good wine selection. I will add it to my list of regular local eaters.

Just eaten for the second time at this great place. The pasta is gorgeous and the puds delicious. Excellent choice of starters, mains and deserts. The ambience is homely and friendly, and tablecloths make it an elegant eating experience. Perhaps a candle would add to the atmosphere? Will be going again before long.

First time visit to Frali yesterday, I’ll definitely be back. The food was delicious, salmon & crab parcels for starters, baked cod wrapped in Parma ham for mains, delicious...I even made room for dessert and a calypso coffee. Good, attentive service too. I’d highly recommend.

A brilliant night out spent at this brilliant Italian restaurant tucked away in Sidcup High Street. A very warm, welcoming atmosphere in a cosy clean restaurant. Great food - ' food heaven here', with a variable choice on the menu too. Served by very polite, professional, friendly staff that always aim to please. I for one will definately return here at some future date. My folks thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Frali! A1, 10/10. Chris.👍

Very friendly with nice food, would go again

Its run by 2 lovely gentlemen. 1 is Greek the other Italian. So you know the food is going to be great. With a wonderful chef to help them they turn out some absolutely fantastic dishes. It's all home made. We were at a small celebration last night, with the family. And the service was as great as usual. If you are a couple or 10 the service is always special, they do make you feel great. My sister had the ice cream last night, she said it was amazing. I always have their creme brulee. Yum. But will try it next week. Whatever you have, I guarantee you will have a wonderful time. There is a wide range on their menu, but you wont go wrong with their set menu. Great food great prices. Great people. I love it. So will you.

Table booked for 7.30 but as some of our group of 7 got there early we asked for drinks beforehand. Unfortunately though despite our comments to the waitress she insisted on giving us menus the minute we sat down and kept chasing us.This set the scene for the rest of the evening. We felt under pressure the whole time we were there culminating in being chased for a dessert choice at 9pm because they were closing at 10.15. This bearing in mind we were the only customers and the website says they close at 10.30. All in all food was very average, service not good at all and they have lost 7 customers going forward along with everyone they know.

Little gem of Sidcup high street. This small and cosy family run restaurant surely knows their tradition and aptly showcases that through their food. I could see that the restaurant guys know many of their customers by name, that means they have huge number of regular patrons. Starters were excellent, liked the mains too. Portion was decent. And I must say the guy who served us was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will go back again.

Such a lovely cosy restaurant. The gentleman in charge, I presume the owner, was very attentive and welcoming. The choices on the menu where amazing i settled for the veal masala and my partner had the risotto. So delicious our compliments to the chef. Four of us had a lovely meal in Frali last night. Fillet Steak was wonderful as was the sea bass and the veal masala. I have had their spaghetti vongole before and it's so tasty I had to have it as a starter, a very generous helping! Great friendly service, nothing is too much trouble. Support this great restaurant which has very reasonable prices and top quality food.

Went there after seeing it on Meerkat Meals. The staff were on hand at all times, the food was very homely and filling. Will definitely recommend the place and will be visiting again soon!

This was a first time visit to this local Italian family run establishment. Service was very attentive and food was excellent. They provided good vegetarian options and prices are reasonable.

Mid week treat and so glad we went. Service amazing presentation first class food gold award. We had 241 meerkat hence why we went great value certainly will return the only fault to full up for desert so much return
