Little Florence in Bexley

In my opinion this is not a authentic Italian restaurant. I was unable to finish the lasagne as there was no tomato sauce in it. Just Béchamel sauce. It was very bland. My wife is italian and we are in italy around 2 month each year so I have good knowledge of Italian food. However the staff are amazing and the restaurant is clean and pleasant.

Great spot for a cosy date night and guaranteed delicious food. Ambience was comforting and staff were very polite and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We had a really good meal here. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our evening.

My granddaughter & I go as often as we can when shes home from Uni . We used to go every week when she was still at school . Always greeted with a smile and one of the waiters knows exactly what we want , great to be remembered . Food is tasty and freshly made . Great place to eat . .

Lovely little restaurant. Service excellent. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit. Wheelchair friendly. There is no need to book a reservation unless you require a specific area or have a large party.

This is only the second review I have written on Trip Advisor. I was so impressed with the food and the service, that I felt I needed to write this. There were 4 of us and we all had something different and everything was delicious. At first I was a bit put off by the extensive menu, but we stuck to Italian dishes and were not disappointed. Went with family, but will definitely be going back with friends.

I've been to "Little Florence" before and I absolutely loved it! The food there is simply amazing. The pasta dishes are cooked to perfection, and the flavors are so rich and authentic. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. highly recommend trying their homemade tiramisu for dessert, it's simply divine! Overall, I give "Little Florence" a well-deserved 5-star rating.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A brilliant hidden gem! If you love fantastic food with brilliant service this is a must visit. Plenty of choice of mains and desserts. Would especially recommend the pizza, lamb or pork belly and the creme brulee

The food was excellent and a great choice on the menu. Excellent value for a carraff of wine, which was good quality. Service is always very good so this is a regular for us.

Lovely food snd wine nice small family restaurant where you can have a chat the staff do not rush you and are very helpful Have been before and will go again Great for special occasions with your family. Better than a chain restaurant.

Mi è stato consigliato questo ristorante da due amici del posto, (essendo io uno chef di Parma volevano sapere la mia opinione), abbiamo mangiato una cena a basa di pesce e nei miei 3 mesi in Inghilterra posso dire con assoluta certezza che questo è nella mia top 5 personale dei ristoranti italiani a Londra, la pasta al dente il pesce fresco morbido e succoso, lo consiglio vivamente a tutti gli italiani e non che si trovano in zona.

Stumbled across this place whilst walking down Sidcup High Street so decided to give it a go. However, I really wish I hadn't. We had a starter of melon and Italian ham but unfortunately, the ham was old and had the consistency of leather. It also tasted like it had gone past its best before date. To be fair the waiter knocked it off the bill but why would the chef allow that to be served to a paying customer in the first place. Maybe they thought they could get that one past us. The wine list looked rather uninspiring. The main of lobster ravioli was cheap and the sauce bland. My partner's king prawn linguine was 'average' in terms of taste but more concerning were her stomach issues the next day. Won't be going back. Baffled as to all of the 5* ratings but there you go.

Had dinner last night and definitely the best italian restaurant around. We will come back

If I could rate this lower than 1 star I would. Offers the pretence of being an Italian restaurant but in essence just a glorified cafe. Will not be returning.

First visit to this restaurant and this is a little gem in Sidcup high street. Went at 6.00pm and by 7.00pm it was almost full. Great menu and the food was excellent.

In promptu visit. We were quickly accommodated, served very diligently, and food was quick and delicious. Price very reasonable.

I have eaten here twice in daytime which was lovely but last night we nipped in no reservation but managed to get in lots of tables reserved so book . Service was very good Food was fantastic I had skate it was so nice and my husband had prawn pasta he said it was tasty too . We even had puddings they were lovely . I couldn’t fault anything we will be returning

Over all a 10/10 experience, food and service was amazing, my husband had a pizza and I had the pasta. I honestly could not fault them

Ordered the Rustica pizza. It was like a crisp bread with ham and rocket on it. It was so dry I could not eat it. I was told that was the way it came. Paid full price and left 3/4 of the pizza except for the ham.

Very good pasta, the service also very good. No need to wait long time for food. We ordered carbonara, Giotto, bolognese. The portion is enough to make you full. Will come again in future.

I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. I’m really surprised it’s not full to capacity every single day. It’s a small family owned Italian with delicious food and the service is 10/10.

Sono stato qui con dei colleghi per pranzo. Il ristorante è ben arredato con tanti richiami all'Italia. Il menù è basato su tanti piatti tipici italiani. Io ordino un piatto di tagliatelle condite con verdure ed ho trovato che la cottura della pasta era corretta e che se avessi mangiato questo piatto in Italia lo avrei giudicato buono.

Little Florence is my go to restaurant for my morning coffee , brunch or a weekend evening meal . Not only is their menu choice varied and incredibly tasty , their service is faultless , friendly and 1st class in a spotlessly clean and relaxed environment. My absolute NO1 choice when in Sidcup .⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really great meal in here tonight. Thoroughly recommend. Four of us had 3 courses and drinks and all of us had 3 delicious courses. Staff very good, gentle and warm. Lovely gentle ‘piano music’ playing in background. Will definitely be back. Almost didn’t want to put such a good review incase we can’t get a table next time but food, ambience and staff were so good it deserves a good review. See you next time!

Sidcup and Bexley is blessed with some excellent restaurants, and along Sidcup High Street that too being most evident. But this fabulous little Italian/ bistro restaurant 'LITTLE FLORENCE in Sidcup High Street is another hospitable gem in the area. A small clean, modern, cosy little restaurant with delightful picture of 'Italia', offers for my reckoning the very best of both Italian cuisine and table service- par excellence 10/10 , A1 based on both the excellent food and kind good service shown here. The dessert dish CREME BRULEE probably one of the best , if not the very best I've ever had to my memory. My wife and I had selected our course from 'THE LITTLE SPECIAL MENU' ( back.page!). Plenty of great choices on the menu! Regarding the disabled facilities- there is access and wheelchair seating as advertised. But, the only aspect I question is the disabled toilets available? ... I noticed the toilets are upstairs on the next floor level. It probably would be wise to consult the owners / staff just before you book a reservation in this important matter.....But that aspect aside, the restaurant overall for me is a winner; my wife and I do wish to return after a most enjoyable meal and experience had at Little Florence. It maybe considered by some to come with a price on the tariff, but the high excellent quality for me justifies what is served. This was our first visit on Thursday evening 14/7/22 around 8pm. Several Bus connections close to the restaurant in the High Street, Sidcup rail station (Network South Eastern) only half a mile away connecting to these TFL services - primarily No.51. Parking 🚘 in Hadlow Road ( just off the High Street almost opposite) with disabled spaces next to Sidcup library. Thank you to the owner and staff for such a fine evening, best regards Chris. 👍 🇮🇹

Lovely small restaurant with good atmosphere, with friendly welcoming staff. With enjoyable food. Only one thing toilets are up a few steps no good for the disabled.

Visited for dinner on a weekday sometime back in January. Starters were good. Had seafood as my main course. Was slightly disappointed with the size of the prawns. Overall, we didn’t feel it was a fantastic experience.

For the ladies. Dont bother reading the menu the staff are very munchable, so my sister in law told me after visiting there again on Wednesday night. You can feast your eyes on the adorable staff and come out feeling satisfied. Yes i know not entirely appropriate but hey lets have some fun in these recovery days. Fantastic food as always.

I’ve been going to Little Florence for the last couple of years and can’t recommend it enough. Every visit I’ve made, the owner and all staff have made me feel welcome in the this beautiful family run business. The ratio of price from portion size is like no other and the taste and quality of the food and on point every time! There will always be someone moaning about something anywhere you go but this place is truly a gem! Cannot recommend it enough, just go there and see for yourself! Many enjoyed meals from Rusty and family x

tried a breakfast in this place. the sosage was a cheap flavourless type. bacon was OK. the bread was just standard. hardly anything on the plate with an orange juice was nearly 10 pounds. definitely the worst overpriced breakfast I've ever had.

Chicken salad. Kept getting whiffs of something I thought was the Balsamic Vinegar till I realised the Chicken was off. Sure they were well aware as they watched us eating.

This family run business is a cafe during the day and a very good, proper, Italian restaurant from 6pm. Eat here regularly. Really good variety of dishes and I recommend the fish dishes (cod,tuna, swordfish, skate wings etc.). House wine served in carafes at very reasonable prices. Best value and great coffee. Pretty authentic Italian evening restaurant.

Met up with a friend I haven't seen for over 18 months. Not heard of this restaurant before but my friend's friend had recommended it. And quite right too. Good choice of food, tasty when it came. Well spaced out furniture and door open so felt safe. Waiter pleasant - certainly not pushy. He just could have been a bit more apologetic about the dessert of the day running out.

Four of us had dinner at Little Florence last night. The service was excellent snd the food was delicious and very reasonable priced. We will definitely go there again! A little piece if Italy right on our doorstep!

Fantastic dinner. They made extremely tasty gluten-free & vegan pasta for me. My husbands calzone was fantastic too. Staff was friendly & welcoming.

Authentic Italian food with excellent service. It's a family run business with a great chef. My calzone was flavourful and perfectly cooked. they were able to accommodate our gluten free request at the last minute which was a delight. They serve Bira moretti in bottles which must be imported from Italy as it tasted different from the tap. Really crisp and perfectly chilled. (Looked great too as shown in TV ads ;)) Great selection of wines too.

Me and my wife had to check this place out after one of our friends had recommended it to us and i must say that was the best recommendation i have ever had, the pasta was amazing and my wife loved her pizza, to anyone contemplating about going here i wouldn't even think twice, its an amazing restaurant with polite staff and most importantly delicious food.

Went tonight with my son for my birthday as he is friends with the owners and absolutely loves the food,he wasn’t wrong the food was just stunning,staff were amazing too,starters,main and pudding all delicious,price was brilliant too and food was more than worth every penny,if you love this food you’d be mad not to go here,thank you for making it a lovely evening,perfect end to my birthday ☺️

Took a friend there yesterday as I’ve told her how good the restaurant is . We had their tasty warm chicken mayo and bacon baguette. Had this many times before with friends and family and always enjoyed it . My granddaughters love it . My friend really enjoyed it and the coffee which is very good .

We visit little Florence for lunch and coffee a lot and decided to try an evening meal here. The menu was varied with plenty to choose from, including a set two or three course option. My husband and I both chose from the a la carte menu, all three courses were delicious, the service was excellent and was really good value for money, we can’t wait to return, a very nice night, thankyou little florence

Another exceptional meal at Little Florence. This evening I had the grilled swordfish, absolutely delicious. As always lovely atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Can’t wait for my next visit. By far the best restaurant in Sidcup

Wonderful menu and excellent service. We are regulars and never get bored with the choice of dishes. The staff are always attentive and never pushy - which can be an issue in some Italian restaurants. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing, I went there with my friends from work for a birthday and they were lovely and friendly, plus very patient with 8 drunk ladies. The food was delicious with huge portions and it was very reasonably priced. Absolutely want to go again.
