Went here on Wednesday evening 18/9/2024 1 hour before my booking with my wife and 14 month old daughter .
Luckily they said it was fine for me to come in early,we were seated and a high chair was brought for my daughter.
Me and my wife placed our orders for the 3 of us and was very pleased that the front of house team did their best to interact with our daughter who started to get frustrated from lack of sleep during our day out and keep her occupied whilst we were eating our starters and her eating from the kids menu.
Now the food was great ,flavorful, fresh , colorful, citrus, some spice but not overpowering, sweetness everything you could ask for in Thai cuisine and the front of house attention to detail and behaviour when dealing with a baby who wanted to cry the walls down was spot in the way they handled the whole situation .
so a great thank you to them .
Sadly we had to take our mains asap as a takeaway and enjoy at home because we didn't want to disturb the rest of the guests.
So what makes my review worth taking with a pinch of salt in regards to food and service
Let me try to explain as briefly as possible
Me and my wife have been working in the hospitality industry for nearly 18 years me as a chef in the top 3 restaurants in the world as well as 5* hotels, private member's clubs and Michelin star restaurants and my wife the f&b manager of top 5* hotels and Michelin star restaurants.
So please if you love Asian, Thai and oriental cuisine take it from us and give it a try and hopefully you'll be greatly pleased with what kahuna has on offer as we were.
Hopefully in the future we will revisit and give a much more in-depth review of the food, service and decor but for now
Thank you

Luckily for us we swerved the Premier Inn next door and booked here at Al Bivio
Top service and food and a lovely venue with atmosphere and warmth.
The staff were so welcoming, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing at a very reasonable price.
Met at the door, asked if wanted to hang out coats, seen straight to our table, very attentive staff with a smiles and a genuine warmth.
Would definitely recommend 100% and will return when next in the area
Setting is lovely and the Sunday roast we had was very good. My elderly mum had the children 's portion of sea bass which was sufficient for her. The banana banoffee pie was amazing but the Eton mess was underwhelming
Waiting staff were not as attentive as I would have liked. We were there early so it was not busy but I struggled to get their attention at times
Stumbled on this restaurant, food was delicious, atmosphere really nice too. Staff were attentive and friendly. Price very reasonable. Would highly recommend

Tried for the first time yesterday, excellent Turkish restaurant with a cosy atmosphere, rustic styled and family friendly. The cold Meze was exceptionally good with a variety of obviously homemade traditional breads to accompany the distinct sauces and pickles. The family mixed grill portion that came afterwards was way more than enough for the suggested headcount. It included perfectly seasoned and grilled lamb chops amongst the usual offerings of chicken, kofte, shish, doner kebab, etc, that one expects for the dish, on top of a generous layer of soft and perfumed rice. Ended it all with some very tasty baklavas. Service was cordial, friendly, and expedited. Parking spaces are few and limited, location on a main road. Excellent value all in all. Family loved it. A+ will return.

There where 6 of us dining here for the 1st time, we were unable to book a table as it is walk in only. We had a 20 minute wait for a table but once seated food chosen all was good. Starters ( meatballs) arrived and it was really nice....the mains were a mix of different pizzas and all were cooked really nicely, portions are generous.
My new favorite meeting place with friends, staff and Clare the owner are always friendly and helpful, food is always spot on, cafe is very clean, reasonably priced too
Highly recommend if you’re in Blackburn you need to visit

The food was the worse thing I ever tasted. The meat tasted like liver and chicken was not cooked properly they charge us £180.00. God knows where they r from but trust me it's not turkish.
As an experienced musician who’s played all over, Mad Squirrel High Wycombe is genuinely one of my favourite places to perform. The vibe is always incredible — welcoming, lively, and full of energy. It’s clear they care about both the music and the atmosphere. To top it off, they serve my favourite beer, which makes playing there even better! Highly recommend whether you’re there for a pint or a live gig — it’s always a great night.
