1 of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. quality all round quality ingredients and very tasty will order again nenext time I'm in the area

Food was good Service was sub par, waited 45min + for simple pizzas with no acknowledgement of time. Everything was good other than communication/ waiting time

Emma was amazing. She was perfect in every way. The garlic bread was also life changing will definitely come back again.

Such a good find! Great atmosphere and excellent pizzas and salads. It’s not possible to book so we were worried we’d struggle to get in with it being a busy Friday night, however the owner was so helpful and friendly and with only a 20 minute wait he squeezed us in for our friends 60th birthday (we were a table of 8!) Service was above and beyond! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

Lovely place - pizzas slightly undercooked and Veggie pizza a bit soggy and really salty - possibly the olives

Nice bar, lovely pizzas with a good choice of drinks. Only downside was they need to put cushions on the bench seats but this wouldn't stop me from going back.

Great service and food, lovely atmosphere

The best pizzas we have ever had and we make our own and have our own pizza oven too! Light dough, just the right amount of crispiness, flavourful topping and prices very reasonably. The garlic and chilli bites were also lovely! You can't book but you must go!

Lovely micro pub. Good selection of beers. Staff really friendly and loved the atmosphere as well. Food looked amazing although we did not have any . Friends have previously eaten in there and said was amazing. Will certainly be returning

We had the salami pizza and the calzone, both were amazing, with the chilli infused honey and garlic dips, they were incredible too. Highly recommend! We collected ours to takeaway and they offered my husband a drink whilst he waited, which was lovely, even though it was not a long wait at all!

Came here for a few drinks and food with relatives. Enjoyed my few hours here and the cheese and ham calzone pizza was amazing. 😊

Great place, always have calzone and serves the best pint of Camden's IPA. Just been again today and still the best Camden's IPA and calzone. Will have to try the new meatball one next time.

Was staying in a hotel nearby and this place had some good looking pizza reviews! They don't take bookings but we went in on Saturday evening and was told it would be around an hour wait for a table. They put my name down, took my phone number and said they'd call when the table was ready. It was cold and rainy so we went back to our room to wait. 40 mins later got a call to say the table was ready. We were seated immediately by the friendly staff and quickly ordered our food and drinks. Good size pizza with lovely tomato sauce and plenty of perfectly melted cheese. What made the pizza really special, was the amazing crust. The base of the pizza was nice and thin but the crust was lovely, thick and doughy. I can see why there's often a wait for a table here. We'll definitely be back. EDITED 1ST SEPTEMBER: We ate here back in February whilst staying in Saltburn and today when we came for a walk on the beach decided to eat here again. I think we had forgotten how amazing the pizzas were! The pizzas are big, and the dough is amazing. Really puffy and doughy. Base is thin but not too thin, and a good amount of toppings. Also, the tomato sauce has a really good flavour to it and everything tasted really fresh. Service was also excellent. The waiter apologised as some of the staff had not arrived, but we honestly didn't have any delays or issues that caused any problems. Prices are perfect for the amount of food you get, and we will definitely back!

Anna has been amazing tonight, our first time in Saltburn. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Service was amazing and attentive, complete reassurance as soon as we walked in. If you like pizza and good wine, you will love this place, thank you all!

During our recent visit to Saltburn, we discovered No. 23 Milton Street, and it quickly became a favourite. The atmosphere is just right – relaxed, with a cosy and welcoming feel. The decor is stylish without being overdone, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. Now, about the pizza – it's genuinely some of the best I've had. I've tried pizzas in Italy and New York, but the ones here are up there with the best. The crust is perfectly crisp, the toppings are fresh and flavourful, and each pizza is clearly made with care. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up going back a second time during our stay. Sometimes you worry that a second visit might not live up to the first, but we were pleasantly surprised – it was just as good, if not better. If you're in Saltburn, No. 23 Milton Street is definitely worth a visit. Great food, friendly service (thanks Martha & Sophie), and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We’ve only been living in Saltburn for a few weeks, but have already developed a love for this bar. It’s got a great atmosphere, really friendly staff, great food with some really delicious pizzas and a great selection of drinks including some great ales and lagers. The service is very quick and you can see the food being made in the ginormous pizza oven. It’s dog friendly too.

A brilliant experience. Incredible pizza made with quality ingredients, and the kids' pizzas arrived in the shape of bunnies. Wonderful staff that made me and the kids feel really welcome, they got us in on a busy Friday night when the kids had their heart set on pizzas here (from the reviews!), and the place looked fantastic.

Great dog friendly pub, with excellent pizza!

Lovely bar with a great atmosphere and great food. The owner is really friendly and we have been back a few times now. Allows dogs too which is a real bonus.

We ordered 2 vegetarian pizzas. Were good. A place with an atmosphere where you want to sit and relax. What is more, it is open longer than others in the area.

We often visit Saltburn-By-The-Sea in our camper van, and like to support local businesses. We love this place the food is excellent and you are always assured of a friendly warm welcome.

We have visited Number 23 on numerous occasions, it never fails to deliver. The food is lovely and so are the drinks. Staff are so helpful and friendly, one of my favorite places.

Gave this the benefit of the doubt after more than one unsatisfactory visits as a Saltburn resident. Without doubt the most ignorant barstaff in this otherwise fantastic town. The staff are either too busy chatting amongst themselves or to their " mates" at the bar rather than serving customers with empty glasses. If you have the audacity to question thier priorities you are refused service / " offered outside" by their mate!! Pretentious!! Full of dogs!! 5*??? Got to be joking. 100% better service in every other bar in town.

If you don't mind waiting for the bar staff to finish chatting to their friends or stroking dogs (and not washing their hands afterwards) before being served then this is the place for you. If not then Saltburn has many more friendly and less pretentious places to offer...as a resident I have given this place several opportunities to persuade me to give them my custom...I am no longer a patron

Eight of us turned up on Saturday lunch time. We hadn't booked, We got a table straight away, The service was swift, and the food was excellent. The pizza dough was really light and the toppings really nice. The meat and cheese anti pasti platters looked spectacular. All in all a first class visit.

Iv been before when it was not as busy. However, on Friday night, it was very busy, and the quality was just not there. The bruchesta was very hard and difficult to cut, and the pizza was average.

The pizzas look amazing and the whole place is great. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Dogs allowed too in the bar.

If Saltburn is an oasis on the Yorkshire coast, then No:23 is the jewel in the crown of eateries. Situated on the main thoroughfare, this smart and cool restaurant is modern and vibrant, with a relaxing air and superb staff - a perfect combination for a great meal. The food options are endless, with veggie dishes also catered for. The restaurant is super clean and neat, with the restroom being the cleanest I’ve seen in a long time. Food arrived quickly, and was delicious, with ample portions. As a family, we’ve travelled extensively in Italy, and the meal would have been at home in an Italian pizzeria. We’ll definitely be back here soon.

Really poor service to local saltburn residents, collecting drinks early from us and not serving drinks even before 10pm. Very disappointed in attitude and manner

Whenever we come to Saltburn we always make a beeline to Number 23! It’s always buzzing, and gives off a great vibe. All the staff are fabulous, but one of their latest recruits was outstanding, I believe her name was Martha. She was so cheerful, and made us feel so welcome. Now for the pizzas!……just sublime! Well done team 23!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We had the Don pizza, spicy and perfectly complemented with the blue cheese and honey drizzle. Lovely wine and beer selection.

We visited with our 2 young children and we so pleased we did. Not only was the food delicious and fresh but the staff were so lovely. The chefs happily chatted with my son who was fascinated by the pizza ovens. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Ordered our takeaway pizza on arrival in Saltburn around 8pm on a Friday night. Arrived to a very warm welcome from the host but expecting to wait given how busy it was. Pizzas were ready prompt and still hot after the short walk back to our accommodation. Best pizza we’ve had this side of Italy by a long way. Highly recommended. We’ll be back to eat in next time. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

We are regular visitors and always felt a warm welcome. Today was a cheeky pizza and garlic bites. The pizza Don is tremendous and hard to try an alternative but a little glance at The Calzones on the next table has our next visit sorted. Either a little chilled drink and enjoy the music or go for the eating experience you should be well pleased.

Brilliant service, good background music, and I mean background, you forget its there unless you listen. Atmosphere is very friendly. Food's excellent, top notch pizza's, and panini's...the latter was awesome.

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten! We were visiting Saltburn for a couple of days and this was recommended by our host. It did not disappoint. Staff were lovely, it had a beautiful interior and the food was divine. We will definitely be back.

Great pizza, amazing bases and good variety of toppings. Great kids pizzas shaped as a rabbit! Which is a great touch. Good selection of beer. Would be good if they had some more local small batch gin. Note they don't take bookings. We ate at 12.15 on a Saturday with no queue.

What a fabulous place, this was recommended by friends and will definitely visit again. We had a pizza to share and Caesar salad and the food was brilliant. Managed to get the table with leather sofa next to the fire and it was so warm and cozy, perfect for a freezing January day. The staff were super friendly and accommodating as well

Ordered to collect, when I got back to where we were staying, 2 mins by car away, the pizza was cold and soggy. Didn’t feel at all cooked.

It never fails to amaze me when we visit 23. The streets are deserted, all the other bars are sparse, however 23 is like a different world, always rammed! Again we were lucky to get a seat, but managed to enjoy a nice bottle of rose before dining elsewhere.'

We were staying in an Apartment on Milton St and after coming back from a beautiful walk, I became quite unwell and needed a cup of tea and some dry toasted bread to help settle my stomach! When I called in, the young staff were super friendly and helpful and gave us a table for two. I asked for the dry toasted bread and cuppa and my wife had a fabulous pizza with dips. Whoever owns this business should be very proud of their staff as I mentioned earlier, nothing was any trouble and the food and service was excellent! Thank you for helping me feel a little better with a lovely dry toasted ciabatta. We will definitely be back! Steve&Tracey
