Brought mum out for a mother's day meal here. The meal was delicious. All the waiters were so lovely and helped to pick the best meals for us.

Enjoyed coffee and scones with friend

lovely feels like a hippy dippy cafe. Great food drinks good value food not cheap. But homemade and healthy 🙂

Seating a bit tight, food overpriced but unusual. Service poor but it was the open day so probably not used to being full. We only wanted 2 scones which they could have given us at the counter but no, made us wait 30 mins for, tea came slightly better in 25 mins.

Divinely cooked food with epic taste and good sized portions. Cool decor and super cool people running the place. Cool vibe. Will be going again soon!

Lovely cosy atmosphere and an absolutely gorgeous lentil soup. Highly recommend this little gem.

Excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly will to answer any questions we had, a real passion for good wholesome food. The coffee fresh and full flavour, our meals were hot, fresh and very tasty We will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work ladies. 👍

Nice little cafe with excellent veggie food. We arrived late (if 1.15 can be called late) so missed the mung bean curry. Even so, the lentil chilli and dhal were both excellent substitutes. The chilli had a lovely slow-acting heat to it and the dhal focussed on flavours built on a base of turmeric. The brown rice was really tasty - such a welcome change to white stodge, or white non-stodge for that matter. The only negative was that our table was left unwiped from the previous punters. Staff realized only when our food was about to be served and dealt with it immediately. But please, don't let that put you off going.

Loved the vegan quesedilla. The cafe is in a lovely little centre with really friendly staff, good vibes all round. There's a gorgeous outdoor area for the cafe as well.

It's really great to see Shanti Café customers enjoying their food and drink right outside the cafe in the spring sunshine. They do an enticing range of sweet and savoury items, along with a great selection of hot and cold drinks.

Says closes at 4 (even on the door) but it's 15.36 and it's closed now.

The best coffee in town and the mung bean curry is fantastic. Totally recommend this place.

Wonderful cafe with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, a wonderful atmosphere and the food in delicious! We often get the lentil chilli and cheese but the chocolate cake and cheese scones are also devine! During the current climate the cafe is offering take out which we've tried also and I can't praise them enough especially for their efforts to be environmentally friendly. Without a doubt a must try!

Lovely cafe, the creamy mungbean curry was possibly one of the most delicious and flavourful curries we've ever had when eating out. The staff were nice and even gave us directions for a lovely walk nearby.

It might be lovely but never had the opportunity to try because they and closed Monday and Tuesday, came today believing they would be open only to be disappointed. Says on here they are open till 4pm, made a special journey to go. I'm in Virgos now instead.

Lovely atmosphere and great coffee.

A delightful place selling genuinely freshly made, wholesome, Vegan and Vegetarian food. Service is friendly and efficient- but you (understandably) might have to wait a little if busy because everything is freshly cooked. Highly recommend the creamy (Vegan) lentil soup with crusty toasted wholemeal bread (ask for toast or it comes untoasted). The coffee is excellent and Vegan choc cake is delicious (naughty but nice!). Oat milk (and soya) available. Love this place!

Lovely cafe. Excellent coffee and herbal tea served by very friendly staff.The chocolate and courgette cake was excellent but a little disappointed there wasn't a gluten free cake because they do gluten free meals.Didn't have a meal but had one last year and it was excellent. It is dog friendly and supply a bowl of water for them. In the same building is a lovely shop selling a variety of goods suitable for presents etc. Also a wide variety of beautiful cork handbags and accessories.

The best food in England. Beautiful home cooked meals that you won’t find any where else. Everything has a vegan option and you’ll never leave hungry. Reasonably priced meals for the portion sizes! Best coffee in Saltburn and amazing staff

A wonderful hidden gem. Perfect place for a spot of lunch. Well worth going even if you eat meat. Really tasty vegetarian meals that everyone can enjoy.

Reasonable price massive portions good quality and friendly staff

Portions are massive , would prefer smaller portions at a lower price .

If you haven't been yet, what are you messing about at...fabulous place in all ways...can't recommend enough!

I had a vegan chilli cheese flatbread, it was a fantastic portion size, excellent value, I really enjoyed it. The flatbread was probably the best flatbread I've eaten in my life! The chilli was very nice and I appreciated that they used brown rather than white rice, a wholewheat flatbread, lentils in the chilli etc so it was healthy as well as tasty and satisfying :)

What a wonderful place this is, I took my mother as we are both veggie. The portions were substantial which was lovely the price was more than reasonable and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone even if you're not vegetarian, it's just great food. Can't wait to go back :-)

I'm not a vegetarian but I could eat their food every day. Tasty and healthy. I love the chilli and the lentil Dahl. Fortunately I don't have to choose as they do a combo plate with both. The two cheese fajitas is to die for.

Lovely cup of coffee and chocolate/courget cake on a rainy day. Nice relaxed atmosphere location where you didn't feel rushed.
