Fantastic golf course and friendly clubhouse.

Lovely location for staff training day. Great coffee and pastry and a nice lunch.

Attended a funeral reception here. Nice room all facilities clean and well presented. Food ( buffet) was nicely laid out and there was plenty of choice. Including potato wedges ,pizza, scotch eggs, spring rolls and many different types of sandwiches and cake. Considering that there were probably 150( ish) people at the funeral there was more than enough food provided. The venue also provided coffee and tea on a self service basis and a full bar for those who wanted a drink. All in all a good place for this type of event ,With plenty of parking and a lift for the use of less able guests. It's proximity to westerly cemetery makes it an ideal choice.

We had a great charity golf day at The Kendleshire today. The food was beautiful, good range of drinks, staff were personable, while the course itself was in great condition - and a quality test.

Went for post funeral function. Great staff and good food.

Played the badminton 9 holes in late August on a Saturday morning in nice weather. Great course, well maintained and very quiet. The main courses looked pretty busy as to be expected in good weather on a weekend. Club house staff were friendly and we had food and drinks which were good. Would definitely return for another round in future.

We went to have a birthday party at the kendleshire. We went for a walk which was lovely around the course. We had a birthday tea and then a birthday cake. The food and drink was lovely. Very enjoyable venue.

A great Clubhouse with a wide variety of drink options and a good menu offering well prepared and served food. Playing Golf not essential!

I went to the Kendleshire club today just for a couple of beers, we sat outside we had a couple of beers and burger. The burger was nice and the service was exceptional. The waitors were very professional couldn’t do enough for you. I will be returning as the service was excellent.

Fantastic Bristol golf course. Staff were excellent in looking after us on annual Buildit Charity day. Look forward to coming back again soon.

Course excellent company even better

Played on 11/6/24 and having not played for many years I cannot believe how this golf course has transformed into a very high quality golf course, would be a member again if I lived a bit nearer, it was a pleasure to play there, very professional pros shop and food was excellent, nice to see Pat Murphy is still steering the ship 5 stars 🌟 all the way

This is really beautiful golf club with friendly and efficient staff. As a cyclist, I often stop here for a coffee and cake from their excellent selection. Coming here often temps me to start playing again.

Great golf course, in superb condition. Unfortunately rain stopped pkay for us as the greens became flooded but thT gave us a chance to enjoy the well-stocked clubhouse

Enjoyed coffee and cake here in the sunshine watching the golfers. Later, we had a toasted sandwich and chips. Very nice! Nice surroundings, lots of seats outside and inside.

I had such a lovely lunch here today with my parents. We were so well looked after, the venue and views were lovely and our meals were delicious. Really impressed and I will definitely go back again!

Lunchtime meeting for me, after a couple of valuations. Used to play here for 20 years, but not since the Hip Op 🤦‍♂️. Great venue too - had our wedding party here (post Vegas 🙂) Great course and great people 🥰 And plenty of property on the doorstep

Had a lovely time with family on a night to see a lovely singing artist. Good atmosphere and good selection of drinks.

It must be one of my rare purple patches in life to have a week of socialising and merrymaking and really struck gold with every place l visited.Nice, clean, friendly and efficient.A little too cold for coffee outside but the views are spectacular.Good value, so important,( l am available to play Scrooge if any amateur dramatic society has a opening).Will go back but possibly the summer, to take in the views will be more to my taste.Golf is not a past time l have ever been tempted to participate in but nice coffee and pleasant surroundings are just my thing.Give it a try.

Working on new front doors and had the opportunity to visit and view the golf club,in fact I'm thinking of holding my birthday party there,excellent venue for marriages,birthday parties ect.Beautiful location masses of parking,highly recommended and if you require any window or lock repair or replacement then contact DWR Services at Poplar Road, Warmley ,Bristol.and mention where you saw our name.

Great food,, spotless all areas

We had my mum's wake here yesterday and I couldn't fault anything, staff very professional and friendly. As for the food, it was amazing. Chose the orange buffet, with hot food, the joy about this was the food was kept hot, everyone was complimentary to myself about the food, especially the scotch eggs. Always a worry will it be enough, plenty to go round, even having some over, which staff were very obliging in providing containers for the elderly to take food home for their tea. A very big thanku to all involved making it an enjoyable experience

By far The Most miserable staff (pro shop) of any course I’ve visited. Never a friendly welcome and always a chore to serve you, I’ve played her 5/6 times this year, always arrive with a member who says to me “yeah, they’re always like that in here” also, after playing 9 holes and getting to the 10th we had to wait behind 2 groups who were teeing off due to being able to start on the 10th, I know this is hard to gauge as you don’t know a groups pace reaching the 10th but it’s not a good idea imo allowing this and doesn’t work. The course itself is kept well, credit to the greens keepers for that and the greens are some of the best in the local area that I have played. It Doesn’t take much to smile when you take someone’s money 😀

In the past 3 years I've been to a Xmas party, 40th birthday, a leaving do and the occasional spontaneous lunch with work colleagues and other times with my family (my elderly father is especially picky and gave his approval) and the Kendleshire is always consistently great. I love the surroundings, overlooking immaculate grounds and lake, the range on the menu, excellent quality food at fair prices, served quickly by friendly staff. Most recently I had the K Burger which I heartily recommend.

I recently attended a function at the kendleshire which was my first visit there in quite a while and whilst I'm pleased to say the venue itself and the stunning views from the terrace are as wonderful as ever. However I'm saddened to report that the one thing that really let the overall experience down for myself and my companions was the lack of table service especially out on the terrace. I'm afraid to say that for an establishment with the kendleshires aspirations towards being of a certain class and level of service this just not something that can be overlooked and be explained away with a begrudgingly curt "it's only for those who are dining" from the staff and more so the management. On the day i was there I noticed a few elderly and/or somewhat infirm fellow guests who could've made good use of some level of proper courteous service for safety reasons alone had the kendleshire seen fit to offer some. So overall a great establishment let down by a sorely lacking attitude to customer service.

Great course although a little wet on the day.

Sunday lunch at the Kendleshire golf club, setting was lovely. Nice views across the course and the food was good. However had to order food and drinks at the bar, bit of a let down!.

Mix and match any of the 3 x 9 hole courses, or just play any 9. Driving range and short practice course. Good food and friendly atmosphere.

Went there for a birthday party. Had a good evening. Nice food & selection for the buffet.

A great golf course in superb condition, clubhouse is very comfortable with friendly staff. Excellent gardens throughout the site, strongly recommend.

I had forgotten how beautiful this place was. Whatever your reason to visit, to play a round of golf, a business meeting, wedding reception etc. Or just a walk round the grounds, this place meats all your requirements and then some.

Went here for a wake. Very nice surrounding, easy parking and the room was very comfortable with lots of tables and seating. Staff very friendly, drinks a little expensive.

Amendments to the course will eventually make the course look very tidy and better!!! Always nice to see a club take care of there course and improve when needed

Excellent setup for playing golf and other social functions. We have been here for 2 different wakes. My wife insists this is the best food, service and atmosphere we have ever had at funeral.

We sadly said farewell to our dad yesterday. We arranged to have his wake at the Kendelshire golf club. The venue was brilliant overlooking the golf course. The facilities were excellent. The catering team and bar staff did a great job supporting us throughout the afternoon. We all had an amazing time with friends and family. .Thank you all.

Golf course in poor condition and very wet. It was disappointing that the club didn't bother to let us know about the trolley ban or that there were many forward tees. As a result some of us were forced to hire buggies as we didn't have carry bags and we played off the green tees when most of the purple tees would have been fine despite the pro advising us to play the green tees

Lovely layout , great greens , fairways were a bit shabby , but it was end of Feb

We booked the function room for my mum's wake. They went above and beyond to accommodate and make it as pleasurable an experience as you could expect for such a sad occasion. Good food and lovely views.

Simply the best golf club and golf course in the area. Don't miss the terrace in spring. Great fun predicting 3 putts on the 18th over a pint. Cruel but great fun

Very poor Christmas event this year. Not enough food for the amount of people. No atmosphere. We won't be doing this event again in future

What a great Golf Course, fantastic

Nice golf course, well the front 9 and thats why it gets the 3 stars. Do not book the 19 to 28 hole course (can't remember the name) it's not very good.

Had a good day at a sponsored golf day, lucky enough to live locally, quite a few people travelling a fair distance to take part, personally i think the kendleshire is the best course in this area that I have played,

Lovely, well kept course. 27 holes to choose from (3x9's). Practice area and driving range. Large clubhouse with catering as well as bars. Function room available and well stocked pro shop. Only four stars as it does get wet (and is often closed) in the winter months. Also, when visited, the guy In the pro shop was very sullen. Probably a bad day?

What a beautiful course, greens were fantastic, layout us a real test off the black tees, water makes for a good challenge on several of the holes. The staff were fantastic and Pat & Serena were very helpful in arranging our society event. Great place if I ever look to change my club membership I would seriously consider joining here
